Minoru Suzuki, Maeda, TAKADA, Yamazaki, Masa Funaki, Fujiwara, and even Tamura! The roots of so much amazing fighting and wrestling in one group! Thanks for posting! The Liger and Muta things are great, too! Man shit was TIGHT in than era! What the hell happened?
Man Liger worked SNUG back then, and that match with Muta in the White suit... Classic shit! :D

There's one that's kind of similar in the medium moves in FPWW but I can't remember the name of it. I would love to see that move in FPWW as well. I want one of those jackets too! Let me know if you find one. :)

Recently had a very lengthy discussion/debate with a friend of mine about that age old nugget: Desert Island albums.
After devoting a frankly ridiculous amount of time to thinking about it over the last week or so, I've come up with a definitive list for myself. In the interest of not having that time being wasted, I thought I'd share my list. First, a brief bit of history on my musical tastes. As a kid in the mid 80's I was mostly influenced by my older sister, who was into some classic rock, a bit of punk and lots of crappy 80's snyth pop bands. By 87 I had discovered hard rock and by 1990 I was heavily into thrash metal. In the early to mid 90's I gradually transitioned into slower doom metal and stoner rock....and that's pretty much where I'm still at. I can appreciate lots of different musical genres, but stoner rock is still mostly my jam.
Without further ado, and in no particular order:
1) Megadeth - Rust in Peace 2) Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power 3) Judas Priest - Painkiller 4) Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss 5) Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley 6) Sleep - Holy Mountain 7) The Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium 8) Clutch - Clutch 9) Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf 10) Alice in Chains - Dirt
It should be noted that by no means do I consider these the "best" albums of all time, but the 10 albums I couldn't go the rest of my life without hearing. Not surprisingly, there are 8 albums from the early 90s and 2 from the early 2000s.
Thoughts? Anyone else wanna share their desert Island list?

Ah, The Mars Volta. I have their entire discography. De-Loused is an incredible work of art and really opened up the progressive side of my musical tastes. That album and Frances The Mute pretty much consumed me around 2008-2009.
Shame they are not around in that capacity anymore. I'm still hesitant to listen to their new Antemasque/At The Drive-In stuff.
I need to come up with an all-time favorites list one of these days. I still have a lot of music left to explore though.

yeah The Mars Volta is really the obvious outlier on that list. First time I heard Deloused was the last time I was genuinely excited about a new band I'd discovered. So different from the stuff I normally listen to, but just so damn good. every single member of that band was soooo talented.

my family are from the town Pitea or simply Pite Sweden.
I was born in Australia but my background all comes from Sweden / UK.
My favourite Swedish punk bands are.
Rock Set - they are really the only Punk band from Pitea. Rude Kids Arabens Anus Maryland Cookies Garbochock
Salt - they are Grunge but people class Grunge as punk due to it being a very close inspired scene.
Wolf are more hard rock / heavy metal but they did do a Ramones cover
TST
and SOD / Sound Of Disaster
And don't forget the whole D-beat scene is Swedish.
there is heaps more lmfao but I can't be botherd going through my 25 hour playlist haha

The Scientists from WA are also a great Garage Punk band www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c7gmBrOrQE there best song in my mind. And another band not far from me The Saints were Punk and then they went Ska and weird haha. best song by them www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0Jkd-m_UMk

Heck yeah Radio Birdman was bloody amazing. Same as the Rifles.
The Kelpies are another band from Sydney. they began in Wollongong before relocating to Sydney
The Leftovers from Ipswich made an Australian punk classic Cigarettes and Alcohol
X were also alright Hate City was an interesting song.
and World War 13 or XXIV were Sydney's first ever Hardcore Punk band, the lead signer would sometimes put a coat hanger into his ears I think he later pierced his ears with the coat hanger.
Queen Anna's Revenge was a punk band I think from Melbourne they had one hit song and disappeared off the scene.
