Thanks guys. Hoping to do some work this weekend, then out for a week for work but back next Friday to have at it again. Next up for me will likely be getting the Robe in decent enough shape to release. I'm experimenting with adding the bling and trying to contain the shin pieces so they don't spill into other angles. I've had a couple of rough spots with clothes poking through so it may require some hiding (e.g., putting the thighs to the same color as the robe). I want to take one more crack at it before I give up.
After that would probably be the long postponed Demolition entrance attire - drawing the spikes is a pain so yeah, I keep putting it off.
Then the La Parka mask request.
After that, I think I'm done with my list, unless I either crack the code on non-NBA Jam looking faces (no dice so far) or dig deeper than I'm inclined (e.g., boots and mask for the Midnight Rider).
So while I'm not taking requests at least until after La Parka is out, feel free to throw out ideas, either here or the general photoshop thread. Ya never know what might inspire more parts.

Hey, Oni, do you still have the .psd (png also taken) for the Superman logo? I'm thinking Lantern Corps. logos and the Superman logo would be great for size comparison notes.

Probably a png - I don't tend to keep psds if it's only one layer. But yeah, I'm sure I have something. Check back in 10-12 hours and it should be on the google drive, in the psd folder.

Can I take a look at the PNG for Missing Link's hair? Maybe we can do something about the highlights. I had forgotten but Missing Link's PSD is already posted. Go to my drive, Oni Updated folder, psd sub-folder, under link.psd. I believe the back hair is a separate layer but it may be mixed in with the front tuft. LMK if you have any luck making a better highlight file for it and if so, I'll re-release. Thanks. I did some work on Missing Link. I actually did pngs and highlights for everything because I forgot that you said only the hair was affected by the highlights issue. Anyway, i think it makes a bit of a difference in the hair.
Tex file and a rar with all the pngs are in my drive if you want to take a look.

Ok, now releasing... entrance robes. Some important notes: The base white files look terrible but as you'll see, most colors work fine. You may see the occasional glance of the tights underneath the thigh/shin seams - color long tights the same as your base robe color to fix. You may see the occasional stray pixel - I'm really pushing the bounding boxes and haven't been able to get rid of them all. However, THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE RING WEAR. It's intended to be entrance attire (use Ace's extensions so you can have lots of robes to choose from). It should get you to the ring and through most poses. If there's a pose that's particularly bad, let me know and I'll see what I can do. However, the more I remove, the more the gaps appear - it's a trade-off and this is 99.9% of my final decision on what works best. There are base robe pieces for chest, waist, upper arm, forearm, thigh, and shin. There's a secondary piece for chest and forearm (textured trim pieces). There are also 3 sets of bling for each of the main robe pieces. Bling 1 is a "starfield" design. See the plain black robe above. Bling 2 and 3 are a more complex pattern and a butterfly pattern. For best results, mix these in with Bling 1 and each other; using just straight Bling 2 or Bling 3 is ok, but may look too "matchy-matchy". They're random patterns applied to the whole sprite sheet, not properly drawn from each perspective. But, they look pretty good in game to me and it's about 80 hours less work, so... Hope you enjoy.

I re-did the tuft and mane (for lack of better terms) of the hair using the texture from the in-game afro, since I always thought Link's hair looked kind of fuzzy like that. I then did the highlights using SDSS' guide, now that it wasn't just a flat white piece. It didn't do much to change the small forehead tuft (although you can see more texture in a color other than pure black), but it made a huge difference on the mane. Thoughts? It hasn't been re-released yet until I decide whether it's final or I want to blend it with SDSS' version or what. I like the highlight design in yours SDSS, but they're really bright - this version is fairly similar, but takes a little extra % before it lights up that much.

I haven't re-uploaded the new version of Link yet but if the consensus is that this new version works, I will. I'll check back tomorrow afternoon so anyone who thinks otherwise, speak now etc. etc.
(I assume that's what you mean by "Finally"; if you mean you've just been waiting for Missing Link in general, then check the first post, as there are a few dozen characters there including him, re-released from the Arena boards).

I used the Andre fro as a base too, but then layered it over your original, and then added in fuzziness using a spray-style brush with the various Fire Pro shades of white/gray.
No one in the game has really "frizzy" hair to see how Spike would draw it. I guess Bruiser Brody's hair was kind of frizzy, but it doesn't really look that way in game.

I used a spray brush on the original version, but had done it in (flat) black instead of white. 😄 Circle of life...
