OASIS: A New Era Dawns in the Desert!

Match 1- Lass Vodanya vs Manticora Celeste (Manticora wins via Just Face Lock)


The two largest women on the OASIS roster opened the show in an all out war! Power move after power move, big hit and big hit! It seemed like neither woman would ever quit. In the end, Manticora saw her opening, bringing Lass to the mat and locking in the submission to pick up a victory.

Match 2- Kasumi and Lady Apocalypse vs Tiger Lily and Rin Ryusaki (Kasumi and Lady Apocalypse via Flying Cross Armbreaker)


A couple of oddball pairings here in a random tag match. It was back and forth at the beginning before it looked like Rin and Tiger Lily had their opponents on the ropes! Unfortunately, due to poor ring awareness, many of Rin's pin attempts ended up in rope breaks. Kasumi got loose, tossing Rin into the ropes and catching her in a signature Flying Cross Armbreaker, forcing a submission.

Match 3- Jemila Kali vs Kuni Ochikawa (Kuni Ochikawa via Silent Clutch)


Talk about a fight. Jemila Kali, wearing the tribal paint of the warriors of her home country, brought her striking game up against the enigma known as Kuni Ochikawa. This match was wild from the word go, but in the end, we saw our third straight submission victory of the night with Ochikawa locking in the Silent Clutch.

Match 4- Nina Tortuga vs Rodeo Angel (Rodeo Angel via Huracanrana)


Another great match between two women with little to no history in the ring together. It appeared that Nina couldn't get her footing for most of the match, but in a desperate attempt at her Cowa-bomb-ga finisher, Rodeo Angel saw her chance, reversing the power bomb into a huracanrana, and picking up the win via pinfall.

Match 5- Wild Women (Juliette Erving and Mina Fitsharris w/ CiCi Reno as manager) vs La Axolotl and Carolina Anole (Wild Women via Midnight Special)


Anyone who knows the Wild Women knows that this match was going to be dirty from the word go. Adding CiCi Reno to ringside proved invaluable for Juliette and Mina, with the rookie forcing the ref to turn away from the action on multiple occasions. Although Carolina and Axolotl seemed to show great chemistry together in the ring, a three on two match proved to be too much when Mina hit the Midnight Special and picked up the pinfall victory for the Wild Women.

Match 6- Princesa Torbellina vs Isis Redfire (Isis Redfire via God Queen’s Grace)


When the owner of the company is the referee, and his wife is an active participant on the roster, you expect there's going to be some leaning in the favor of that competitor. Isis took full advantage of the fact that Osiris was there, but both women took one another to their limits. Though she had to hit it on three separate occasions, Isis finally managed to pick up the win via her finisher God Queen's Grace.

Match 7- Doc Crystal vs Unicornio Celeste (Unicornio via Horn Breaker Drop)


Underdog. That was the title given to Unicornio Celeste going into this match. Doc Crystal was the heavy favorite, a veteran with over a decade of experience. Unicorn's star has been bright, but she is still a relative newcomer to the facets of professional wrestling outside of lucha libre. These two women fought all over the arena in a brutal back and forth. To the absolute shock of everyone in the audience, Unicornio Celeste managed to connect with the Horn Breaker Drop, and put Crystal down for the three count!

Match 8- Katheryn O’Malley vs Albeni Tarir (Albeni Tarir via Torture Cobra Twist)


No Frills versus the Turkish Grappler. Katheryn and Albeni put on one helluva show from the word go in the Main Event of the evening. The early goings of the match showed a nearly even back and forth until a stray move seemed to cut open the Irish grappler. From there, Albeni turned up the heat, and Katheryn just couldn't seem to find her footing, eventually having to submit to the Torture Cobra Twist, allowing Albeni to pick up her first professional wrestling victory!

Match 1 – Tournament Quarterfinal Match – Unicornio Celeste vs Duana McCann - (WINNER: Duana McCann)


Our show opened tonight with one of two matches to determine who would face who in the final for the Queen of the Nile tournament. Newcomer to OASIS Duana McCann had proved herself in big matches leading up to this one, but Unicornio Celeste is an opponent who can never be underestimated. Duana looked to use her power, while Unicornio looked to utilize her speed. In an absolute upset, Duana McCann picked up the victory, and would find out later that night after our main event who she has to look forward to next week.


Match 2 – La Axolotl and Carolina Anole vs Mystery Tag Team (Doinkette and Pumpkin Spice) (WINNER: Doinkette and Pumpkin Spice)


Newly formed and constantly improving tag team of La Axolotl and Carolina Anole were told they would have mystery opponents tonight, and were given no clues until their opponents came through the curtain before the match. Those two women were none other than The Motley Crew of Doinkette and Pumpkin Spice. The rookies put on one helluva match, but were constantly outclassed by the odd pairing they were in the ring with. Doinkette and Pumpkin Spice pick up a win in their debut tag match.


Match 3 – Doc Crystal and Lass Vodanya vs Dragon Celeste and Manticora Celeste (WINNER: RED MENACE Crystal and Lass)


Red Menace doesn't see much action, but when they do, watch out! Lass Vodanya hit Dragon with a Solstice just two minutes into the match, but The Beasts of Legend fought on. Manticora looked to match strength with Vodanya, while Dragon tried to match her speed with Crystal. In the end, Vodanya would lock in that devastating Buffalo Sleeper, or the Grizzly Sleeper as she calls it, and pick up the win for Red Menace.


Match 4 – Danica Starrlet vs Rin Ryusaki (WINNER: Danica Starrlet)


Danica Starrlet is a new signee here in OASIS, and the shades wearing supermodel looked to lock horns with the Winter Kunoichi Rin Ryusaki. A great match throughout, both women showed off their skills well. The match was concluded and the win given to Danica Starrlet after she locked in a submission, forcing Rin to tap out.


Match 5 – Albeni Tarir vs Princesa Torbellina (WINNER: Albeni Tarir)


The Turkish Grappler looked to comeback after being eliminated from the tournament by Unicornio Celeste last week. Her opponent, the always dangerous Princesa Torbellina. Both women seemed to be at the top of their game, putting on an entertaining match for everyone, but Albeni proved she belongs in the upper tier of OASIS talent by securing yet another singles victory.


Match 6 – Wilma Fitch and Victoria Queen vs Kuni Ochikawa and Widow Nakagawa (WINNER: Wilma Fitch and Victoria Queen)


Head Trainer of OASIS Wilma Fitch teamed with Aussie newcomer Victoria Queen against the deadly duo of Kuni Ochikawa and Widow Nakagawa tonight. In our longest match of the night, Wilma received multiple injuries and mist blasts, but managed to lock in a cross kneebreaker to pick up the win for her team. Fitch will be out of action as a result of this match for at least a couple of weeks.


Match 7 – Layla Al-Amin vs Kairi Practer (WINNER: Layla Al-Amin)


The crowd got loud when two of Cairo's own faced off in the squared circle. The Cairo Cyclone Layla Al-Amin took to the ring against Kairi Practer in a match that many thought would be a crushing victory for Al-Amin. Kairi gave it her all in this one, going over the Cyclone multiple times, but in the end, Layla proved she's the strongest daughter of Cairo, picking up the win over Practer.


Match 8 – PEWA Style DeathCage Match – Juliette Erving vs Enyo (WINNER: Juliette Erving)


PEWA's own Juliette Erving showed up tonight with one goal. Slay the God Slayer. In a PEWA cage built around an OASIS ring, Juliette faced off in this tournament match against Enyo to see who would face Duana McCann for the title next week. This one didn't last as long as many had hoped. Juliette stole Enyo's signature chokeslam, hitting the Grecian with her own signature to secure the pin and the victory

NEXT WEEK: Juliette Erving and Duana McCann face off in the Main Event. This is the final match of our tournament to determine who will be the first ever Queen of the Nile here in OASIS! CiCi Reno returns to the ring next week and in an effort to show there are no hard feelings, the Wild Women Trio will face off against Unicornio, Dragon, and Manticora Celeste in a trios match! All that and more next Sunday night, 8 pm US Central time, only on OASIS!

Holy shit talk about a crazy card! 4 debuts and a best 2 out of 3 matches to determine the first ever Queen of the Nile champion!

Match 1 – As Irmãs Amazônicas vs ☆KDT☆ (Winner: ☆KDT☆)


An awesome trios match to start off the card. A special thank you to Dawnbreaker for the use of KDT in OASIS. All six women gave it their all in a +30 minute matchup, but in the end KDT comes out on top over the Barbosa Triplets.


Match 2 – Ashley Saturn vs Katheryn O’Malley (Winner: Katheryn O’Malley)


Ashley Saturn makes her OASIS debut, and I gave the creator his choice of opponents as I had yet to make the match card. His choice was OASIS original Katheryn O'Malley. O'Malley has fought at main event level, and I was personally worried that Saturn wouldn't be up for the task. I was wrong, as the rookie took No Frills O'Malley to her limit, but the veteran managed to comeback and pick up the win.


Match 3 – Señoras Lagarto (Axolotl and Anole) vs Wild Women (CiCi Reno and Mina Fitsharris) (Winner: Señoras Lagarto)


This match featured two of my edits, one on each team, and two SenatorPhillips edits, one on each team. Axolotl and Anole have been gelling really well since the first time they tagged, and they continue to impress every week. The Wild Women are well known for being rough and tumble, with Mina tagging with CiCi tonight due to Juliette being in the Main Event. It was a back and forth affair, both teams really showing their stuff. In a rare occurence, Mina Fitsharris didn't draw blood in this one. The Lizard Ladies pick up the victory.


Match 4 –Rin Ryusaki vs Kuni Ochikawa w/ Widow Nakagawa (Winner: Rin Ryusaki)


A Firehawk original, Rin Ryusaki took to the ring against a Pandakid edit being managed by another of his edits in Kuni Ochikawa and Widow Nakagawa. Rin faced an uphill battle from the start as Widow started the match tossing in not one, but two steel chairs. For her credit, Kuni didn't use either weapon, focusing on her opponent instead. But Widow did distract the referee on two separate occasions in the match that would have seen Kuni pick up the loss. In the end, Ryusaki persevered, picking up the pinfall victory.



Match 5 – Dragon Celeste vs Manticora Celeste (Winner: Dragon Celeste)


Manticora and Unicornio, both students of Dragon Celeste, have never seen eye to eye. Unicornio is a young lucha prodigy, and worked hard to be brought under the tutelage of Dragon. Manticora was hand picked by Dragon, with little to know work on the larger woman's part. The two have held a bitter resentment towards one another, and tonight it threatened to boil over. Dragon stepped in the middle, and told Manticora they would be facing off in a match tonight. The aging Luchadora took on the masked monster in a spectacular bout, and Dragon showed why she holds the reins to the Beasts of Legend, picking up the victory.


Match 6 – Isis Redfire vs Nefertiri (Unicornio Special Referee) (Winner: Isis Redfire)


Unicornio dons the stripes for this one to make sure nothing funny happens with Isis stepping into the ring to take on debuting SenatorPhillips edit Nefertiri. Both women put on a hell of a match, and the crowd in Cairo was firmly behind the hometown girl in Nefertiri. But Isis brutal slaps landed heavy today, and ended up being the downfall of the Egyptian.


Match 7 – Layla Al-Amin vs Albeni Tarir (Winner: Layla Al-Amin)


Firehawk edit and Cairo native Layla Al-Amin, the Cairo Cyclone, took to the ring against Dawnbreaker's Turkish Grappler Albeni Tarir. Tarir had a strong showing in the Queen of the Nile tournament before losing to Unicornio in the semifinals. Now, she looked to continue her impressive singles career in a match against a crowd favorite. In a battle that showcased both women's talents, Tarir looked to slow things down to her preferred pace, but the Cyclone wouldn't give in so easily. Al-Amin comes away with a great win here.


Match 8 – Best 2 of 3 Falls (Queen of the Nile Championship) Juliette Erving vs Duana McCann (WINNER: 2-1 Duana McCann)


SenatorPhillips Juliette Erving got to this title match by steamrolling most of her competition in the tournament. Duana McCann had a much rougher go of it, upsetting numerous opponents many thought she wouldn't be able to beat. But it all came down to these last matches. The winner would be the first woman to capture two victories. Juliette had a dominant showing in the first match, picking up the win as many thought she would. Duana came into the second match full steam ahead, and Erving never really got her footing, losing by submission. The third match was set, and turned out to be an absolute banger between two women with very different styles. But Duana proved the submission was no fluke, locking in the arm bar at the end to pick up the victory and become your first ever QUEEN OF THE NILE!

Match 10 – Senator Steve Phillips vs Osiris Redfire (Osiris Redfire)

"That's right Phillips! I talked my shit, and I backed it up! You walked right into my trap, and I put your big ass down with an armbar in MY arena, in front of MY fans, for MY whole damn roster to see!" Osiris laughs. "Maybe next time you fly out from Pensacola or wherever the hell you're from, you'll let someone know before waltzing into their arena like you own the place! By the way, I'm keeping this steel cage whether you like it or not!"
