YAY! Go Deathsteaks!! Japans favourite deathmatch promotion returns!! GORE Japan was founded in March 1995 by former Sumo wrestler (and restaurant entrepreneur) 'Hungry' Horiguchi, during the boom period for "deathmatch" wrestling in Japan. GORE is credited as being one of the founding promotions of "deathmatch" wrestling AND the creators of the critically acclaimed Deathsteaks restaurant. Deathsteaks' is a Deathmatch themed steakhouse with the tagline 'You kill'em, we grill 'em!'. Clients are invited to put the cow of their choosing through any of the 'tenderising' processes before they are cooked: and might i just add the Exploding Barbwire steak was exquisite)

The (self proclaimed) Sexiest man in GORE Japan! Hashi truely believes himself to be gods gift to women and can often be found cruising the tables of '.....Deathsteaks' before his match-up. Please ladies do watch out for him, he is riddled.......
'Hotstuff' Ikemen Hashi
Finisher: Sen Nuki Bomb (Spiral Bomb) Punching Lariat
This is one tough SOB, whilst training his instructor told him that to go far he would have to use his head more, Hanzo appears to of taken this quite literally. He is one of the few men to have held the GOREiest Championship
RABID Hayashi
Finisher:Straitjacket Suplex (Package German Suplex)
Mental.....just mental. One half of the WildBoyz
SARU
Finisher:Janguru Bomb (Guitarra de Angel)
When heading off on an excursion to Mexico the Plane carrying SARU crash landed into the South American rainforest. SARU was discovered 7 years later living amongst a family of monkeys. He has now returned to GORE Japan but appears to be having a little difficulty settling back into normal civilisation. One half of the Wildboyz
Scampi Hooper
Finisher: Kung Tofu Kick (Explosion Kick)
Upon hearing of the Attrocites being commited at 'Hungry 4 Deathsteaks' this Animal rights activist headed straight over to Japan to protest! Realising that the best way to get his message across would be to compete in GORE he immediately signed a contract and let me say for a Vegan he sure is Blood-thirsty!
Blue Halcon Jr
Finisher: One Winged Halcon (one winged Angel) Ala De Halcon (Somersault Elbow)
Known in Mexico for being quite the spot Monkey, he Came over to Japan to work on his 'technical' side. this never really happened though as Blue Halcon Jr fell in love with the Hardcore Style of GORE and has been tearing his way through the promotion ever since!
Nobuo Sawa
Finisher: Sweet & Sawa (Canadian Destroyer)
Known as the 'Heart and Soul of GORE Japan'. While not the most talented, Sawa is willing to try anything to entertain the fans and is possibly the most popular wrestler on the Roster!
Otaku Kenji
Finisher: Vulcan Nerve Pinch (Shoulder Grip)
A huge fan of GORE Japan since its Inception. When GORE Japan held a tournament to crown a GOREiest Champion it found itself to be a wrestler short, Otaku Kenji decided to step up and volunteered to compete! Although he went out in the first round Kenji showed such spirit they offered him a contract immediately! oh and he loves star trek.
Iron Chef Kaga
Finisher: Steak Maker (RainMaker)
The Head Chef of 'Deathsteaks' after a hard nights work there is nothing more that Kaga likes than stepping in the ring and serving up an extra helping of Hardcore Violence.
Hurty the Clown
Finisher: Pagliacci's Revenge (Dragon Clutch)
A Former circus entertainer who snapped after seeing one too many of his expertly crafted balloon animals pop in the hands of (quote)''UNGRATEFUL FUCKING CHILDREN'' now one of the most vicious Wrestlers GORE Japan has ever seen

I started my day to the awesome news of this thread and have been waiting all day to finally post!
GORE looks incredible in FPW! I love the updates to the classic wrestlers like Ikeman's feather boa!
You have a way with beards: Iron Chef Kaga and Scampi Hooper look great...and greasy!
Otaku and RABID look great as well.
Koji's head looks even more impervious than ever! 😁

My dude. MY DUDE. Literally every one of these edits is fantastic. Love the colours—everything is solid and vibrant without being oversatured (a la Hana, which I really appreciate), love everyone's looks. Hurty and Ikemen in particular I love. Koji's shorts are FANTASTIC. Any reason he seemingly has scars/tattoos on attire one, but not two? Scampi is fucking hilarious. He shouldn't work at all but his literal patchwork attire is both hilarious, and simultaneously looks awful (I know in a deliberate way) and awesome. Very Eric Young-ish, in a good way. His hair/beard looks AWESOME. You've nailed that character looks-wise perfectly. Iron Chef is also hilarious and wonderful, and the attire looks great. Your colouring on everyone's tattoos (Hurty's stand out, in particular) is next level shit. It all looks amazing.
Lovelovelove the logo. Love the ring. The skill in graphic design for the logo, the apron ads, and the t-shirts is fucking top level shit.
I remember GORE from when I came into the community and really loved all of your shit (although never said anything, probably) and you've translated all of your stuff to World fantastically well.

Scampi is one of my favourite looks ... i made something similiar in Returns but the layers just really let me nail that Nu-age hippy look... i can practically smell the incense! |
