Excellente! I've added everyone in this thread to the map and things are really filling out and beginning to look interesting.
I've been just experimenting around with Google Maps, and frankly there isnt a huge amount of customization to be done to it, but there's a few things I could do to snazz things up. Firstly, if you click around some of my feds you'll see I uploaded their logos into the map, which was a fairly nice touch I thought. I'll go poking around the forums for logos and stuff to add to the map, but if you have a specific picture you'd want on there either send it to me or guide me to it.
Aside from that, all I can really do to spice things up is change the pins. I was wondering: would color-coding the pins be worthwhile? Maybe like red for hardcore feds, pink for joshis, etc etc? They also have a multitude of custom pins with cute little pictures on it, and they have just about everything you could think of, alien heads and cactuses and cows and dice and martini glasses. I could just pick something I think fits into the fed's theme, and take requests if you want something specific.
Also, I've noted there's a nice roomy sidebar that pops up when you're poking through the pins, so if anyone has a little fed backstory blurb they'd want me to toss in there, just point me to it. I think it'd be awesome if eventually every fed on this map had its logo and its backstory added, so you could really just explore through the community's promotions.

The last major fed I ran, which went through a few names before becoming Can-Am Wrestling, was based in northern Minnesota but toured various neighboring states and provinces. I never determined a set circuit.
I can't remember if that was the one that I tried submitting to desertpunk's Independent World or not. He ended up giving me a large but mostly barren swath of Canada to tour since I was already that far north and nobody else was likely to want it.
I also briefly had one called Big Time Battle Theatre (BT2) out of Japan, in Shizuoka prefecture if I remember right.
For a long time before that, I used to be co-author of one called IFWA (Independent Freestyle Wrestling Association) but I don't think we ever set a specific locale for its HQ. Been thinking about that one again lately so I may share some stories from its legacy eventually.

Quickly glancing at the map, there's a town in Minnesota on the American-Canadian border named "Warroad" that is kind of a cool place name for a fed to be headquartered at. I could just drop Can-Am there for now, until/unless you have another place in mind. |

I had it in a fictional city called Border City, which would basically be about as far north as you can get since it had a twin city spillover in Canada. If you can only pin real locations though, Warroad works as well as anything.

here's the location mapping for my shows and stuff:
CRITICAL! Club/Fire Pro Wrestling Alliance cross-promotional Officially Branded™ Events hosted by me take place mainly in Madison Square Garden (or "B.I.G. Garden" in kayfabe) in New York City, with the Live shows taking place in the Hulu Theater at the same location or the Hammerstein Ballroom just a short walk away.
(with the exception that MILESTONE this year is being held in Tokyo Dome SPIKE-CHUNSOFT Dome in Tokyo, Japan)
(the FPWAlliance cross-promotional invitational event "ALLIANCE" is also being held at the Garden this June)
Fire Pro METAL holds all FullMETAL FeaturedMATCH televised events also at the Hulu Theater and at the Hammerstein Ballroom as well as any other Fire Pro Wrestling Alliance events hosted by FP-METAL.
Any events hosted by FP-METAL that are held in Japan take place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo (other than the MILESTONE supershow at the Dome).

QUICK UPDATE:
I've gone ahead and added logos to nearly every entry in the atlas, as well as links to either your e-fed or creativity threads and in a few instances other websites altogether. I think the map's really starting to shape up now! Pretty pleasant to click aimlessly around.

I put Will's Intergalactic Wrestling Consortium out in the middle of the Pacific, in some strange little notch in the international dateline. I'll pile your feds in there too and just designate that part of the map as the spaceport. But what about Preliator, is that in space as well? |

I think the LAWL logo is missing because it wasn't uploaded to my OG-FPD thread here. But here is the official LAWL logo. Aside from that, all I can really do to spice things up is change the pins. I was like "What fed is based in Kiribati?" Fun fact, Kiribati is the only reason that notch exists. They insist being the first country to experience a new day so they set their time to UTC +14. Yes, it makes Hawaii just north of them experience a time difference of 26 hours compared to Kiribati. It also means that for a small period of time every day, there are 3 recognized days by countries. |
