I have been testing some different options in Return Style and am very curious what the changes actually are. Right now I have 3 different edits that I am testing a lot with 3 different return styles - Kazuchika Okada is "All-Round", Kenny Omega is "Junior" and Tetsuya Naito is "Heel".
I cannot figure out what the deal with All-Round is. Seems like a mix of everything?
Heel is really fun, as there is a low blow counter when the edit is picked up from a face down position, and a really cool face rake counter when picked up from a face up position. Both fit Naito pretty well.
Technician seems to be a lot more roll-up and pinning combination counters, good for guys like Ryusuke Taguchi or Zack Sabre Jr.
Anyone else have info on the styles? Or at least some anecdotes on what they've noticed when using different ones? Thanks!

A powerbomb will be countered into the following:
Back body toss for All Round. A DDT for Junior Back body press hold for Technician. Low blow for Heel.
Return style relates to counters your wrestlers and I agree there are plenty of cool variants that a complete list would be useful.

That is reversing a powerbomb into a bridging pin.

Different versions of a move might also have different counters. For example, a Junior will counter some powerbombs with a DDT, but some powerbombs with a frankensteiner. Every move has a "counter group" it fits into, and there are at least three different groups for powerbombs.
Vertical suplexes are the same way...snap suplexes fall into one group, vertical suplexes fall into another, and a handful of rare suplex-setup-type moves fall into a third. A particular style could counter all of them the same way, or all of them differently.

I actually started a list, I got about halfway through all the moves & just ran out of time & interest
It's incredibly boring to do but very possible with edits
I'm looking at the list now, I did a bunch of moves on this PC & my home laptop which crapped out on me so I lost what I'd recorded (the majority) on there
American is very interesting, it's very heelish, like Ric Flair style of American wrestling, with low blow counters to suplexes
Orthodox is pretty cool, it has the Lion Tamer counter to either the hurricanrana or the frankensteiner, there are different counters to each one

Interesting. One thing that bothers me is the counters to the new Fierce/Torture Headlocks. I wanted to set those as early match moves for some edits, but they get countered with a back suplex, which is not a move I want to see busted out in the first few minutes. I'd love to see a counter that is just a reversal or escape.

There's a bunch more, an eye poke, luchas counter with a hurricrana & an awesome counter were they take the powerbomb then sort of get the powerbombee into a sunset flip type pin
