i would really like to be involved in this, if that's cool (i made a character like a week ago whose gimmick is that she's kind of a Muhammad Ali-esque "smack-talking all-american hero who's well aware she'll never appeal to 90% of the broader american populace" type deal and i think she'd be a cool fit for something like this); i feel like i should ask first though, what's the stance on the Shooter/Fighter/Grappler fighting styles? currently she has the Fighter one bc her whole moveset's v kickboxing-y but i know those tend to win a lot so if you want i should change that to something else before uploading her, i'm totally cool with doing that

I'd have to take a look at the edit to see how they perform, honestly. I don't have a lot of experience seeing the shoot-styles in a wrestling environment so I'd definitely have to see it in action.
JJB, I'm sticking to one per person at the moment, but I'll keep an eye on things as we go.
I'm checking in on the rest now.

alright, here she is: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1702459669 feel free to mess around with her and see if she's any good or if she's no-good stinkin' garbage, as i said i don't mind changing her fight style if she's uncooperative as is i did the thing where you give em special music and then stick it in the Fire Pro BGM folder, i can send you that over discord or dropbox it and post it in the thread here if you'd prefer

All right, I'll take a look ASAP. Plenty of time for tweaking and perfecting before the tournament, of course, but I'll get back to you (and anyone else that may need the input) soon as I can get some testing done.

Justice for an America spot, perhaps? I'd submit FreedoM but I've got one of the big Special Skills assigned to them.

So, digging in to Edie Queen... she is an absolute nightmare, insanely strong since it appears just about every single move she's got is some form of strike, and I'm guessing she's got a LOT of Punch/Kick offense to match. I'm fearing that she would absolutely destroy the entire bracket without breaking a sweat: tacking on the mounted stuff and it turns ugly reaaaaaaaaaaal fast.
I'm honestly not sure what I think of Justice right now (this is really my first experience with the edit proper in my own game). It's probably gonna take some testing. We'll see how it plays out. Ditto for 999, although so far he seems a little... aimless, I guess is the word? I'm never entirely sure how he's looking to end the match, one moment it seems like he's hit a finishing spot, the next time around, he's not looking to end off the very same spot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yo yo Firehawk, I'm gonna go with American-as-all-get-out Ricky Heller as my entrant. Not a noteworthily powerful edit, I don't expect him to go busting up any brackets or anything, but definitely give him a few spins around the block to test. I believe he's good to go as it is, but I'll give his inner-workings a good gander today.

Save the surprisingly extreme eagerness to lock in a Figure Four seemingly whenever he has a chance (:V) Ricky's lookin good, and I'll drop him into a spot.

999 is a bit too RNG dependant, I'll admit but on average he does well.

LOL you have a point about the figure-4s, I pretty much exclusively use him in a tag team (with Bob Highwater... Heller-Highwater get it get it get it) and his role in the team is to tag out often, watch from the apron while Bob softens em up or absorbs beatings for most of the match, then slip in with the hot tag and get the glory with that Figga-Fo! I'll get him a bit more singles-match-appropriate ASAP. :P
