[PC] Phil's Porting Place (Now: Edit Book & FPD Ports)

Next FPZ ports batch is up!

Abdullah The Butcher, Johnny Ace, Gary Albright, Arashi, Nobutaka Araya, Mike Awesome, Giant Baba, Bruiser Brody, Masanobu Fuchi, Dory Funk Jr, Terry Gordy, Stan Hansen, Hiroshi Hase & Kaz Hayashi now up.

I've had them done for a long time, got around to uploading last night. I've lost the notes to it, but I remember the Kaz Hayashi being a lot weaker than the FPR version and a lot more generic too: No Final Cut, no Shiranui, no running turnbuckle Moonsault.

Working on the 2nd half of All Japan: Honma, Kashin, Kawada, Kea, Kojima, Miyamoto, Muta, Mutoh, Johnny Smith, Tenryu, Tsuruta, Steve Williams & Jimmy Yang.

Question for people watching the thread.

Where do you guys want me to go after I'm done with Fire Pro Z?

I was thinking either full port of FPD or back to porting from the edit books.

I've got another edit book on the way, BTW. Fire Pro 3. No clue when it will be here.

I'd love to see more edits based on edit books.

Okay :-) Edit books edits it will be by overwhelming majority.

Make no mistake though, both edit books edits and full game ports you're not likely to get from anyone else.

There are 3 existing full ports of FPR: mine, Pwny's and Heroine-Syndrome's. HS seems to have retired and Pwny won't be doing any more edits in the near-future. 

I'm making the only full port of FPZ. And I don't think ports from other games are in the works from anyone else. This is real niche stuff to make. 

I'll have to dig to see where I was at in the edit book. I think I did Haku, and I remember wanting to do Battle Lyger and Don Leo Jonathan, but I don't remember actually making them.

I'll release part 2 of FPZ NOAH tonight and then, all the other groups that are left have a dozen wrestlers in them or less, so it will be quick.

That's a mystery about the official edit add-on for FPR.

I'm the one that came upon the site with the formulas for the add-on and made the edits all those years ago.

They are in the original FPR Anthology.

That site didn't survive, that we can tell. Listings including the edits that however did, and HG is not on them.

At this point, my thinking is that HG was not on the add-on, just a random edit the guy who posted the formulas on there added and I put it in my save as a canon edit while scraping the site. But just to be sure, I'll open my old save and check what I had him as.

If we could ONLY get the URL for that old site... the Internet Wayback Machine might have it archived.
