"The Battle Lines Are Being Drawn..."

Located in a small office in a gym sits a man who is hoping to launch a new promotion. It's obvious the man is a fitness fanatic as he fills out the suit. It's not a question of if he deadlifts, but a matter of his PR. This reporter had a chance to sit with him and hear about his vision.
"Well pal, it's simple, when you look at pro wrestling today, it's not believable. You have this little men running around doing flips. It looks like gymnastics. I'm not about gymnastics."
That was my introduction to Vance Kirkland Malloy. He is the brainchild behind Battle Muscle Entertainment. When asked about his vision, he said he wanted to bring back the heavyweights and super heavyweights. He wanted to see hard hitting power wrestling. He aid he wanted to see a fight back in the squared circle.
"Look at the 80s, you had these mass monsters. Were they always flexible? Were they flashy? Not really. The people believed it though. A punch, a slam, these basic moves looked like they hurt. Today, someone will jump off the rope, hit a four-fifty and still get kicked out of at one. A guy has to hit twenty Canadian Destroyer Piledrivers to end a match. It's ridiculous."
He took a sip of bottled water and continued.
"That's where Battle Muscle Entertainment comes in. We're starting small, but we are going to hard hitting. We're starting off by holding events here in the Battle Gym. The plan is to hold events every two weeks. However, because of the holidays, we are planning a special Christmas Battle and New Year's Battle on New Year's Eve."
When asked about the name, he smiled broadly.
"Well pal, I am inspired by the WWF and the muscles seen in the wrestlers.. but there is this small group from Japan, real obscure. They call themselves 'Best Body Japan Wrestling.' I wanted to capture that whole vibe. I want to bring the strongest, the meanest, the most ruthless to battle! The official lineup will be released this Saturday. It's going to be great."
Time will tell if this can last, but Mr. Malloy made a guarantee that he wasn't going anywhere.
