RYOMA signalling for Echo Flare then running the ropes ONLY TO EAT A LARIAT FROM NAGANO was the highlight for me and probably the turning point of the match. Brilliant stuff.
100% this. As much as I loved Tetsu's huge spot to the outside, it was more of a flashy spot and clearly tired him out since he lost just a few minutes later (though he did get that shot at the leg capture submission victory as a nice final chance for his team and forced the final tag). But that spot with RYOMA's ECHO Flare being interrupted by Nagano was like THE turning point in the match, showed that NDD had been properly scouting Matsuki-Gun throughout this tournament, and earned them the psychological victory.
I'm thrilled that Matsuki-Gun made it to the Finals. These three have been a cohesive story unit and trained together for a long time but never actually tagged together before in an official match. And I had just made that tag version of Saji right before the tournament. They played VERY well together and I'm really happy about that. Their Finals appearance plus Saji's recent Anarchy Title victory means it was a great month for Matsuki-Gun. A hearty congratulations to NDD for a well-earned and entertaining victory! 🏆👏
