AAW Presents The Man Press-Conference:
*Fast Eddie Edison and a few AAW Superstars are sitting in a dingy hotel press area. The air is palpable with tension*
Edison: Hi everyone I'm "Fast" Eddie Edison and welcome to the press conference for the next AAW show titled "The Man"!!! I'd like to thank The Killers for providing the theme song for this event!!
*A montage of AAW Superstars action set to this song is played on an old school dial TV, on a VHS*
Edison: With that out of the way, let's get to the Q and A section with the super....
Griggs: I'm sorry to cut you off Eddie, but I have a legit gripe to the Mr.Belmonte...
Edison: Which one??
*That elicits a laugh from the press, the laughter only infuriates Griggs more*
Griggs: The one that runs the show asshole!!
*The press gasp audibly, as this was the first time Griggs cursed at a public official*
Griggs: Last week was an amazing event, a once in a lifetime type deal...but why was a match between the two world champions of their respective companies, put on a prelim spot? We weren't even on the fucking co-main, we were on the prelims. Don't you agree, members of the press? What I want to know is why your brother JD...a man I've beaten given preferential treatment over your world champion??
JD: HEY LISTEN YOU UNGRATEFUL PIECE OF SHIT!! IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS COMPANY, YOUR WIFE WOULD STILL BE FUCKING ADRIEN BEHIND YOUR BACK!!
Griggs: Hey Tazmanian Devil, take a seat in the kid's corner while the adults are talking! There's a reason why Josh gives you no booking responsibilities...
JD: AND THERE'S A REASON WHY JOSH DOESN'T GIVE YOU MAIN EVENT SPOTS YOU UNGRATEFUL MO......
Griggs: What were you gonna call me??
JD: MOTHER FUCKER!!!
JJB: I respect your abilities, Reggie, I do, you're one of the best members of my roster, I'm sorry you feel slighted, not giving you the main event spots wasn't intentional, I just had to keep you away from him....
Griggs: Who?!
JJB: My father.....Reggie, you're a great champion and a great wrestler...but my father is a different kind of animal...he'd break you and kill you...if I had to go to another superstars house and tell their wife, why their husband isn't coming home. It would break me.
Griggs: You don't think I could beat him?

Griggs: I'm close to beating Lance Marshall's title defense record and you still have no faith in me.... I wonder why I put up with this shit...he was right about all of you.

*Griggs sits silently and pretends to nod off to piss off JJB more*
JJB: WHO WAS TALKING SHIT ABOUT ME?!
*Griggs continues fake sleeping*
Edison: Ummmmmm.....while that's going on we have another match featuring Kerry Texan and Leonidas Belmonte
Texan: I can't wait to defeat that tough bastard. Lemme tell ya' Leonidas was a follower of mine when his career was first beginning and I'm so proud of his WRESTLING accomplishments. His failings as a man and as a father I can't condone. If I can be honest, watching him in his last few matches, it felt like I was watching a different person...like he was some kind of demon.
*Leonidas is watching from a monitor in an undisclosed location*
Leonidas: you have no idea how right you are...
Texan: I hope I can beat this and end the nightmare for my boys. It's not secret when Leonidas died and while he was alive, I was a surrogate father to the Belmonte Bros. All took shelter at my house when he would go on a drunken rampage and threaten to beat them. I offer them this as a good gift, to end the nightmare and to shut out the boogeyman forever!!.
JJB: I hope you guys watch this coming Monday as Kerry Texan takes on Leonidas Belmonte in the main.....
*Griggs leaps out of his seat and ends fake sleeping and slaps JJB hard then proceeds to walk away*
Griggs: Fuck you and fuck this company!!!
*JJB is being held back by other superstars from attacking Griggs*
JJB: YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!
*Griggs sheds fake tears and begins to laugh as he walks away, before he does, he's blind sided by Micky Martin and Connor Cooke who proceeds to beat him down. Other superstars are trying to break it up but JJB forces them to watch the beatdown*
Martin: So I won Hoss Madness and I'm thinking....I'm super deserving of a title shot. I think the title would look great around 300 plus pounds of certified sexy!! What do you think C?
Cooke: I think that's a great prediction mate! The title would look great around the waists of the two sexiest superstars in the back! Plus the title looks way better on you than this cosplaying weirdo anyday of the week M.
*Martin slams Griggs head to the ground and blows him kisses as they walk to the back, while the mayhem ends there JJB grabs a mic*
JJB: I was gonna announce this as the co-main, but Micky beat me to it, the co-main will be Micky Martin vs Reggie Griggs!! This Monday Night!!!
