Awesome work, dude. I can't wait to see what you can do with guys like Biff Wellington, Ben Bassarab, The Hart Family (include Diana if necessary), among others. Long live Calgary Stampede Wrestling. Harts all posted (no Diana..sorry) but got your Ben Bassarab...he was actually a tough one to pull off with all those mullet variations! My stampede rosters us up to about 25 OG edits and a couple of "re works" from other creators. |

The Cobra is based on an original edit by mmnn9650. firepro-w.com/item/detail/3404Updated the look, tweaked logic and adjusted parameters to be more in line with my stampede edits. Made a couple of changes to the moveset and priority chains, but other than that, all credit to user noted above. The rest of the edits below are original content. LOVE the Bad News Allen edit! One of my all time favourite WRESTLERS, and what a TAGLINE! Check out this sweet interview I found featuring the MAN himself wanting a shot at Owen's title! OT: Been watching old Stampede videos, sometimes you forget how many hall of famers made their way through our remote, frozen little territory back in the day! I wish I could have seen this stuff myself, talked to some old farts around here who did and it sounded like an amazing time! Names like Dynamite Kid, Hiro Hase, Bad News Allen, The Harts, Davey Boy Smith, Brian Pillman, Benoit, JYD, Jake Roberts just to name a few, t hen there was a little Japanese kid named Keichi Yamada... |

Incredible. Those guys under the Vietcong Express hoods weren't too shabby either! Really great stuff. Such old school story telling but the in ring work was off the chart. Owen vs Benoit ( two of my all time faves, Owen will always be my favourite of the family with Bruce Hart second, never was a big Hitman fan for some reason) would have been mind blowing, and the house in Fort Mac would have been small but fairly packed! Crazy shit! These old dudes told me stories about going to matches whenever stampede came to Red Deer, sounded like the crowd could get owly and pissed up, funny roady vs drunk fan story where the roady was setting something up, was being abused by said drunk fan, was then spit on, so the roady dropped a top rope boot to the guys jaw at ringside. Classic stuff! At least you remembered the matches, my sources were there to party! Cool story, you’re a lucky dude to have seen those guys (the Vietcong Express, too! Wow! You saw Hiro Hase!), thanks for sharing! OT: Another celeb run in I had was Benoit with one of his kids at west Edmonton mall water park back in the day. My friends and I just sat there in awe, that dude was THICK, not very tall, but a beast. I felt bad for him, all these assholes gawking (me included) and approaching him for autographs and stuff ( WTF are you supposed to sign in a swimsuit?) |
