It's an interesting custom move idea, if nothing else.

I’m pretty happy with it. It’s Junior dlc and it gives us the rest of the juniors with the exception of Shingo. But I’ve already got a fantastic Shingo edit so no big deal.

If every included wrestler is filled with new parts & moves, I doubt anyone will care that they only included twelve. The Spike edits are so bad that most people ignore them, anyway.

Actually, having remade all the spike njpw edits, I can say they are WAY better than the Returns edits. For most of them I just had to change a few numbers here and there. There were a few that were clearly made by someone else. Their B-Team, as it were.

Outside of some minor percentage changes for simming, priorities are probably the only real complaint I have as not every finisher results in a pin.

Spikey tweet: Nevermind, guess it was just a retweet of an earlier tweet.

Which moves do you New Japan fans think will be included in this update? I haven't really followed wrestling in a while and can only think of Liger's CTB and Jado's Green Killer (rope drape DDT) off the top of my head.

Corner to Center Shoutei for Liger, at least.

I’m thinking these
Liger: Corner to center shotey Tiger Mask IV: standing moonsault knee drop Ishimori: Bloody Cross SHO & YOH: 3K double team Ospreay: Storm Breaker, Robinson Special kick Scurll: Back grapple pull down cross face chicken wing

A true, body-scissor cross-face chickenwing is a must. I will swim to Japan and riot if we don't get it. I've been waiting way too long for my Bob Backlund to procure it properly. (I know, I've mentioned it before, but it is literally the first thing that jumps to my mind when I think about this DLC.) I'm cool with less people than the prior DLC if it means we get a little deeper dive on the people we do get - more moves, more taunts, more attires, because some of that stuff will be useful for a lot of people. I'm not as concerned about the guys themselves - I've probably only even seen full matches out of like, Liger and Ospreay, to be honest. I might have seen a Tigermask IV match at some point. But I'm hoping we get a lot of corners filled up, especially since some of these guys have stuff in the game for them already. Hell, some of these Ligers - I mean guys - have a lot more than SOME stuff.
Seriously though, a non-negligible portion of this game is stuff that's in there for Liger.

I'm hoping Ospreay gets the Omega/Okada treatment and gets 4 or 5 new moves.
Storm Breaker Burning Star Press Cheeky Nandos Robinson Special Essex Destroyer
Those would be my picks.

What about alternate attires? Since the Young Lions only get their one attire, and most of the others probably getting two attires, what ones would you like to see? Here are some of my predictions (first attires don't count, since we already saw what they will look like)...
- Jyushin Liger: heavyweight attire, early Liger, Kishin Liger, or MMA attire (since Liger's worn so many attires through the years, they might either give him three attires, or maybe four) - Tiger Mask: gold pants attire, older attire, classic Tiger Mask tights (he wore them early on) - Jado: same as first, with headband - Taiji Ishimori: Either a classic NOAH attire (without referencing the promotion's name) or the BONE SOLDIER look (with mask, which would be perfect for those who want to make a Mitsuhide Hirasawa edit and use the look as one of his attires) - SHO & YOH: Their masked alter-egos Raijin and Fujin (wouldn't it be cool if they actually included them, BTW?) - Dragon Lee: A black attire with whatever secondary color scheme they would use
