Was something Metal Gear related announced? My guess is the new console stuff is making them feel old i have never played a Metal Gear in my life, i hear they are a great series, i just never really played any. |

Yeah next fall new Xbox and PS5 are coming So next winter 2020? we don't have a fall here in Australia. Going theory is November like last time maybe late October |

All this Switch and Switch Lite news is awfully tempting.
I wasn't prepared for the Lite to only be portable though. I could get definitely usage out of that but if I'm paying $200, it's worth it to me to pay the extra $100 for the full console TV experience. Some of the Switch games I wanted the most are ones I'd definitely prefer playing on the TV.

Technically a newly released title but man, as a Kansas City Chiefs diehard, I'm sorely tempted to buy the new Madden game that features Patrick Mahomes on the cover (and as the highest rated QB in the game). I can't tell you how many times I traded away Steve Bono, Elvis Grbac, Damon Huard, etc to get better QBs in the Chiefs and now, after almost a decade away from playing the series regularly, I wouldn't have to! (Though I DO remember one year where Trent Green was a top 5 Madden QB and that was awesome, except for having just one good receiving option lol). Maybe I'll catch it on holiday sale xD
edit: apparently Madden comes out on Aug 2

This is a nice pair of ps plus games! I’ve been waffling over Sniper Elite 4 for a while now so this is good! I already have wipeout but am glad it will get a bit more exposure with people that may have been on the fence till now. Games with gold is pretty decent, too! Gears 4 and Forza 6 plus torchlight and castlevania lords of shadow for the five of us left on earth with xboxes! |

Yeah, this is one of the first months I remember where all four of the games with gold are pretty impressive, and not just one or two (or zero) standouts.
I hope this library of games carries forward to the next system because it's taken a lot of years to build up.

More Resident Evil coming
I think it's pretty much guaranteed Resident Evil 3 Nemesis Remake will be coming close to the end of this year. They will likely release it on the anniversary date the original was released like they did with Resident Evil 2 Remake.
