Fire Pro Japan announces commemorative event on X June 22nd to celebrate 35th anniversary of Fire Pro. Might be worth something keeping an eye on.
EDIT: Matsumoto announces they will announcing some kind of campaign during the event and says more details to come. Kickstarter?

Whoaaa...I was not prepared for this!! Are they hinting at a new game? đ˛ Honestly, I'd be happy if they made a Kickstarter just to refine and expand on FPW. Too early to tell at this point, but they seem to have something in the works. Seems strange they would announce nothing more than a âHappy Anniversaryâ tweet if there wasnât something more to come. A pleasant and unexpected surprise. Maybe cumulatively over time Fire Pro World ended up doing better than expected. I know Matsumoto said earlier in the year he wondered if he might get to work on another Fire Pro title but I think most of us took that as his wishful thinking. Wonât get too hyped until more info is revealed. It could end up being a mobile game or something.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake gets release date. Also Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II HD-2D remakes still coming in 2025. I'm actually looking forward to going back and playing the original most of all. I haven't played it since the days I got it from the Nintendo Power subscription deal.

Yeah, turns out Spike Chunsoft is giving out 35 Fire Pro Wrestling 35th Anniversary t-shirts to people who submit their own Fire Pro stories about how they got into the the series. Only people in Japan are eligible to participate. Needless to say a lot of people were disappointed in this news, especially Japanese players. Matsumoto responded that he has not given up hope on a new Fire Pro and says there is still a chance. |

Thanks for the information đĄ That is definitely an anticlimactic announcement from Spike. They should really know better than to tease a rabid fanbase like this with a big announcement and just announce T-Shirts as the big news. I mean, maybe they are playing the long game here and actually know there's more good news than they are letting on? I am hoping that's the case.
