It took a long time for them to port them over. I'm thinking one reason is the significant amount of bugs they found in some of them, like FFVI. I love having the Pixel Remaster version for so many reasons (the updated music being the biggest) but early players were getting hit by more random bugs than battles 👾
Hopefully the fixes they did for the Steam version will also work on the Switch and PS4 versions.
I haven't played the other Pixel Remasters but the FFVI version was a joy to go through again 🐱👤

BluePoint Studio tease.
They've been rumored for the last few years to be working on something Metal Gear related. That would seriously make my Christmas. Notice the unopened box is just a plain brown box, similar to the box from the Metal Gear games that can be used to hide in. Bluepoint is the studio rumored to have been working on the Metal Gear Solid Remake since 2019.
EDIT: Now why would Kojima be tweeting blue points?

Any SHMUP/STG fans here? If so, I noticed that Radiant Silvergun is 40% off in the Nintendo store (in North America at least).
Also, Goldeneye should be available TODAY (prepare to have another fond childhood memory irreparably tarnished! 🤣)!
