Co-op Warioware seems intriguing if a bit plain otherwise.

Holy crap I need a PS5 already. Chances are I'll have all the games I want, the cover plates and extra controller all before the actual system itself at this rate. I'm not even going to wait for the TV upgrade first either.

Co-op Warioware seems intriguing if a bit plain otherwise. Now you can simultaneously stick TWO virtual fingers in a virtual nose with a friend! Enough wario ware, time for wario to get his own PLATFORMER GAME!!!

Kind of glad I waited for Ghosts then. The main reason was just so I finished Red Dead 2 (...which i still haven't 🤦♂️) before playing Ghosts but it looks like I was rewarded for my sloth 🦥 Nth, are you going to get the FFVI re-release on Steam when it comes out? The graphics do look better than the previous Steam/iOS release. The character model aren't so washed out and look a bit better like real sprites. I was excited about it for the past week but then tonight I saw some things about the re-release I'm not so happy about like tiny text and a potential lack of overall polish. kotaku.com/final-fantasy-pixel-remasters-cost-a-bunch-and-have-tin-1847207168I hope that tiny, weird font also doesn't find its way to the menus. I don't mind the price as much as that article does. It's FFVI - getting it for that cheap is a steal. Would be nice if we could get a price reduction if we already had the previous FFVI Steam version though.

I'll be getting all the pixel remakes on Steam and if they release on consoles in the future will likely pick them all up again. I kinda wish they were getting the 2D-HD treatment that Dragon Quest I, II and III are getting though. I picked up Octopath Traveller just because I heard that dev team is doing them.
Also Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut now confirmed in new trailer
Ikishima Island expansion to be included with the Director's Cut.
EDIT: Just checked Steam and the Final Fantasy bundle is up for pre-order. $99 Canadian and that's the bundle discounted price. Still going to get them though, fortunately pay day is tomorrow. Also aside from Final Fantasy VI, I've only played Final Fantasy II from the original series so this will be an all new experience for me.
Oh, just saw I got paid a day early due to the holiday. $114 after taxes for the whole bundle.

New Dying Light 2 trailer.
Space Punks looks like Borderlands meets Helldivers.
Also in Intellivision Amico news, Tommy Tallarico just confirmed on twitter that in 2022 the original Intellivision archive of games will be getting re-released in bundles and will include digital controller overlays of the original overlays for each game. That was something I had been wondering about since the beginning.

I kinda wish they were getting the 2D-HD treatment that Dragon Quest I, II and III are getting though. Yeah, I wish they were getting that 2D-HD treatment too. The new FFVI sprites definitely look MUCH better than the previous ioS/Steam release but I feel like they could be even better. I'm going to grab FFVI but probably hold off on the others until they drop in price. Hopefully the music tracks that are part of the bundle will still be available later on and aren't just pre-release bonus incentives. The first game I played from the series was FFIV and I definitely recommend it. It was the first console RPG I ever played. My friend bought it and I never played all the way through but I got to see enough of that I was impressed by it. That (along with Secret of Mana) led me to getting FFVI when it came out. The music is excellent for FFIV and the story is as well. I wasn't as grabbed by the characters as I was from FFVI but I thought the plot was really strong. The fighting was definitely more challenging than FFVI. I played a little FF5 when it came out in one of those PSX collections in the late 90's. REALLY loved the job system but was too burnt out from RPG's at that point to really give it a full chance. That was something I had been wondering about since the beginning. Very glad to hear that about the bundles and digital overlays! Definitely interested in the Amico! 📳

This thing is such a puzzling release. All the internal specs are the same. It's just a bigger screen with a better kickstand and the dock has an Ethernet port now. That's it.

Yep, this means I'll continue to buy third party stuff on PS4/PS5 as opposed to Switch. Probably won't bother to pick one up if this is the only upgrade. The wired dock is great, but I just ordered the ethernet adapter on Amazon last week for $15 so even that is moot at this point.
At least Sony's State of Play is confirmed for this Thursday. Seeing twitter rumors Little Devil Inside is finally getting a PS4/PS5 release this month and I've been waiting so long for this game I'm not gonna wait to pick it up on the PS5 either.

Black Skylands goes into early access today on PC. I believe it's coming to consoles eventually, but I've been wanting to try it for a while so I got it with the early access discount on Steam. Also a bundle deal with Graveyard Keeper if any Stardew Valley fan have yet to experience a darker form of the game in Graveyard Keeper.

"Fading Afternoon" is going to be awesome 😲 It's on my Wish List and I'm picking it up Day 1. It's made by the same guy/team (I think it's mainly just one guy) who made "The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa" which was my favorite non-FPW game for 2019. I played the hell out of that game. The fighting was incredible. The combat system was like an upgraded River City Ransom and the story was really interesting. The fighting in "Fading Afternoon" looks even better. I saw swordplay, grappling, counters (!), and flashy kicks. And a comb to clean your mussed hair after the fight! 😁
