This looks pretty gnarly, what a cool idea, and it has until next year to cook!
The Yakuza collection looks pretty cool, too! I need to get back to Yakuza Zero!!! By gawd, spoiled for choice, tough but great time to be a gamer! :)

Wow, that amorphous alien/psychic/sauced-pasta blob is animated SO smoothly!
The concept of the game is really cool and looks like it would be fun to play!

Are they still making games for PS3? That PS3 case in the Yakuza collection is for fans outside of Japan to finally be able to add Yakuza 5 to their original PS3 Yakuza game collection since it was only released in Japan before the remaster collection. Itβs just a case, the game is a remastered PS4 title, but at least collectors/completionists will have all five cases on their shelves! And, for those interested, apparently Yakuza 3 is playable/ downloadable NOW if you purchase the electronic version of the collection! And yeah, that thing in Carrion totally looks like sauced pasta! Terrifying sauced pasta, but sauced pasta, notwithstanding.

An impressive 26 minute gameplay demo of Dying Light 2.
Makes me want to take a run through Dead Island and Dying Light before this one comes out.
Yakuza 7 trailer
Not only a new main character for the series, but it looks like the fighting is going to be turn based this time around. What was dubbed an April Fool's joke teaser for Yakuza 7 looks like it is in fact the real deal.
Looks like Kazuchika Okada could be in the game at 1:32. The Yakuza games have had NJPW cameos in the past.

I can understand wanting to change up the gameplay a bit but turn-based? Really?
I mean, give it a chance and all of that but turn-based combat in a Yakuza game sounds weird and unappealing just as a thought.

What weird timing to bring in Okada as well!! Right when they make it a turn-based series!
*Okada flicks cigarette at you* *You blow snot-rocket at Okada.* *RAINMAKAHHHHH!*
I've never played a game in the Yakuza series but my understanding of it is that it was a 3rd person action/adventure style. I can't imagine converting that, for a main series game (and not just like a cheap mobile filler game) into a turn-based game. For the sake of the fans, I hope the developers have a really genius plan for it. Maybe they would have been better off just having like a side game that was turn-based. ("Yakuza: Queuing Quarrels") Changing a game's style so late in the series is strange. It would be like if all of a sudden the next Grand Theft Auto game became an endless runner π
"Yo, CJ slow down, who is after you!?" "Boredom in a doctor's office!" "Oh shi-"

King of Fighters turned TWENTY FIVE on August 25th! Somehow that seems nuts to me, I'm glad the series is still around and there's legitimate desire from the developer to stay competitive and relevent in todays gaming market. Don't get pushed around by the thugs and bullies KoF, get up and FIGHT! :)

That's AWESOME!
I still remember how excited I was the first time I saw a KOF '94 machine. It was pretty mindblowing to be able to select characters from Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting, along with intriguing new characters. The series has only gotten better since then and supplanted Street Fighter as my favorite fighting game series about 15 years ago.
KOF 14 was really underappreciated and is one of the best games of the series. It's probably my second favorite KOF next to KOF 2002: Unlimited Match (which is THE dream match game for me).
Looking forward to KOF 15 and hopefully many more to come!

I've been waiting a long time for this one to get released. :) Gorgeous pixel art metroidvania with a really cool setting and great atmosphere. I'll probably disappear for a week or so when trying to finish this one. :D
It's out today September 10th! :D Steam, PS4 and I even on the Switch I think.

Wow at the smooth animation for Blasphemous! It's like the most beautiful tech for the most horrid imagery π Since my brain is wired weird, that scene early on, at like :32, with the guy dragging that...that "thing" reminds me of this: Rock of Blaspheme π
