 I started my Fire Pro adventures back with G on PS1, then the Gameboy Advance, D on Dreamcast, Returns on PS2 and of course now World on PC.
The day this great version of the game came out, I started working on this new concept. I have quite a few different ideas and leagues underway, and they will be coming in the near future but I will start with this one. After months of work I am finally proud to get my 1st Fed under way, under the banner of Asia Pacific Sports Network (APSN).
I have put together the edits with edit points scaled on each country’s population, FIFA ranking, FIBA ranking, Rugby ranking & Olympic wrestling ranking. I will keep tweaking some of the edits & logic as I go along. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. I will be simming all matches & will post the results to this thread and also post videos of the matches to YouTube.
APSN Wrestling World Cup
Containing participants from 211 countries from around the world.
The 5 chamionships are as follows
African Championship – 54 wrestlers representing every nation across Africa.
Asian Championship – 46 wrestlers representing every nation across Asia & the Middle East.
European Championship – 55 wrestlers representing every nation across Europe.
Americas Championship – 56 wrestlers representing every nation across North America, Central America, South America & the Pacific.
World Championship – The top 32 wrestlers fight it out in a World Cup tournament.
I have named the wrestlers as their respective countries and their theme songs are each nation’s national anthem.
The season will follow the FIFA World Cup qualifying system. The majority of group qualifying matches will be in 4 man Elimination Battle Royal matches. That will also keep it interesting and will level the playing field a bit. As we know, anything can happen in Fire Pro Wrestling.
I am excited to finally get this started and share it with anyone that might be interested.

ASPN Wrestling World Cup FORMAT
AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 1 - 8 wrestlers (ranked 47-54) in 2 x 4 man Battle Royals. Top 2 in each match qualify for Round 2.
ROUND 2 - 40 wrestlers (ranked 11-46 + 4 qualifiers) in 10 x 4 man Battle Royals. Winner of each match qualify for Round 3.
ROUND 3 - 20 wrestlers (ranked 1-10 + 10 qualifiers) in 5 x 4 man Battle Royals. Winners of each match qualify for the AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIP match & also qualify for the WORLD CUP. 2nd placed wrestlers qualify for Round 4.
ROUND 4 - 5 wrestlers in a 5 man Battle Royal. Winner qualifies for the AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIP & also qualifies for the WORLD CUP PLAYOFF.
AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIP - 6 wrestlers in a 2 x 3 man Battle Royals. Winners of each Battle Royal face each other in the final. Winner of the final will face the current Champion for the title.

ROUND 1 - 2 wrestlers (ranked 45 & 46) in a 1 vs 1 match. Winner qualifies for Round 2.
ROUND 2 - 36 wrestlers (ranked 11-44 + 1 qualifier) in 5 x 7 man Battle Royals. Top 2 each match qualify for Round 3.
ROUND 3 - 16 wrestlers (ranked 1-10 + 10 qualifiers) in 5 x 4 man Battle Royals. Winners of each match qualify for the ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP match & also qualify for the WORLD CUP. 2nd in each match qualify for Round 4.
ROUND 4 - 5 wrestlers in a 5 man Battle Royal. Winner qualifies for the ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP & also qualifies for the WORLD CUP PLAYOFF.

ROUND 2 - 12 wrestlers (ranked 43-53 + 1 qualifier) in 3 x 4 man Battle Royals. Top 2 in each match qualify for Round 2.
ROUND 3 - 48 wrestlers (ranked 1-42 + 6 qualifiers) in 12 x 4 man Battle Royals. Winners of each match qualify for the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP & also qualify for the WORLD CUP. 2nd in each match qualify for Round 3.
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP - 12 wrestlers in 2 x 6 man Battle Royals. Winners of each Battle Royal face each other in the final. Winner of the final will face the current Champion for the title.

ROUND 1 - 4 wrestlers (ranked 8-11) in a 4 man Battle Royal. Winner qualifies for Round 2.
ROUND 2 - 8 wrestlers (ranked 1-7 + 1 qualifier) in 2 x 4 man Battle Royals. Winners of each match qualify for Round 3
& also qualify for the AMERICAS CHAMPIONSHIP.
ROUND 3 - 2 wrestlers in a 1vs 1 match. Winner qualifies for the WORLD CUP.
NORTH AMERICA
ROUND 1 - 4 wrestlers (ranked 32-35) in a 4 man Battle Royal. Winner qualifies for Round 2.
ROUND 2 - 32 wrestlers (ranked 1-31 + 1 qualifier) in 8 x 4 man Battle Royals. Winner of each match qualifies to Round 3.
ROUND 3 - 8 wrestlers in 4 x 1 vs 1 matches. Winners qualify for the AMERICAS CHAMPIONSHIP & also qualify for the WORLD CUP. Losers of each match qualify for Round 4.

I thought I might change it up a bit instead of posting every match to YouTube. I think it is better to do highlight videos and only post full matches of the important bouts. wrasslinisreal thanks mate !!! The move lists and logic is a constant tweakfest ... I have been working on these since the first pre-release of the game ... I am pretty slow though ... like everyone else life takes over most of the time, but I am in no rush. I must give credit to DJKM as I did pull apart and study his CPU logic back in the days of Fire Pro Returns. My Fire Pro time is usually spent tweaking edits, simming matches (for tweaks and the offical matches) and editing the videos. I have just started simming at 150% speed, I dunno how I feel about that yet ... I might move back to 125% when I get to the final rounds .. haha see how we go Cheers for digging what I am doing !!

APSN I hear you about 150% speed for simming, especially for tweaking purposes; it just saves time and you still get to critique with no issues. Moving back to 100% speed now feels so slow. Yes, I've seen DJKM's stuff on Steam, loads of edits. Keep it up mate, I'll keep watching.
