:3 It's easily one of my favorite moves I've made and tbh I have to actively try not to put it on too many kick-heavy editsI have like 3 candidates right now that I want to give that move too and am trying to decide which one gets it. Maybe I should sim a match and see who earns it, haha 😄 Also thinking even more seriously about creating a new edit based entirely around that Double Northern Lights suplex 😎 Despite loving the Northern Lights (ever since Tecmo World Wrestling!), only a handful of my wrestlers have used it as a finisher or front grapple special. But using this "ultimate" Double Northern Lights as a finisher "end goal", I can definitely complement it with an arsenal using a more basic northern lights, the really cool run counter one I saw on the Workshop, and moves that work up to it. Poison Mist (Custom Mist clincher) Punch Feint DDT (clincher) Really like the custom mist clincher and the punch feint DDT!

Chair Throw (clincher) - so far this is clincher-only 'cause I think that's where it fits most, but I might do a front grapple version sometime, we'll see :3 It's easily one of my favorite moves I've made and tbh I have to actively try not to put it on too many kick-heavy editsI have like 3 candidates right now that I want to give that move too and am trying to decide which one gets it. I've made a few front grapple moves where you need to create a lot of distance between the attacker and defender and it gets a little awkward to make and look at. Ooo, got a link to the counter one? That sounds rad It's called "Lift Northern Lights" - it's the default "lift whip" into a Northern Lights from run counter. It's made by a user named theenddecay - Here is the link: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2329540423By the way, it's not an auto-pin. It looks like it is from the in game animation but you'll have to sequence a pin afterward if you want it to end matches. Not a big deal though as it's really nice.

This fits into the "cool and creepy" folder regarding the Double Northern Lights Suplex edit. I'll put in spoilers since I don't want to distract from the main thread. So I've been thinking tonight about my plan for that edit who I want to build around your Double Northern Lights suplex. I realized that I have had a rookie edit I've been meaning to make for the last year that might be good for this project. I already had an idea for him but it didn't pan out cause it was too open-ended and featured a style that just isn't really my cup of tea. I'm all for having a promotion with some variety of styles but when I'm making like at most 1 edit every 3 months, it's best to just focus on what I really enjoy making. But I thought the character for the edit could work for this. Here is the short bio I made for him: That's a guy who could definitely go in big for the Double Northern. I'll rein in some of his more high-flying moves though but his agility, finesse, and fitness definitely work here. Thing is - whenever I have thought of him over the past year, I have a picture in my mind of his main attire: Here's where the "cool and creepy" part comes in. I just opened his edit a few minutes ago to get started on the basics of his moveset. I realized that last year I also made an alternate appearance. I'll add in some more purple and green notes but that's a pretty good start! Is it just me or are those parts + color combination really fitting for an edit utilizing a "northern lights" moveset? Like what in the hell? I started this edit last February and put in an alternate color combination that never fully made sense until a year and a half later when I FINALLY came up with a real plan for that edit? A plan that required someone else to make a move for him!! 😁 That's some Twilight Zone shit right there 😲

ALRIGHT SO Inverted Figure 4 Leglock B - reworked the leg positioning and other little bits here and there. Listed as Modified Figure 4 B on the workshop Nagata Lock B - same reworking as above Inverted Figure 4 Leglock (Guard) Liontamer (Guard) Bull's Angelito (Guard) Edgecator (Guard) Dungeon Lock (Guard) Cattle Mutilation (Mount) - I'm gonna rework the start of this at some point 'cause I really don't like how it looks like he slides into position Rolling Octopus Hold (Mount) Piledriver B (Mount) Kamigoye (Mount) DX Chop Series B (Coup de Grace) Hands Cross B (Coup de Grace) Gorilla Press Front Powerslam (run counter) Victoria Driver C (back grapple) wew

Yeah, I've been in the same predicament for sure. Sometimes you can take the silly route and have them roll backward or push someone into a backward roll, but most of the time that's just not gonna fly, and then walking or hopping looks goofy in its own way and that's when the whole thing goes in the trashThe walking backward or walking & turning animations feel goofy a lot of the time and is annoying to get exactly right so the goofiness is minimized. The Combo Clincher and also Corner-To-Center slots are ready-made for a move that already needs distance to start. Man would you believe that's almost exactly the palette for the move that I had in my head, too? Twilight Zone shit for real Wow, you too!? That is so f'n weird! It's like quantum entanglement or something else I don't understand 😁 Love these new moves, especially Victoria Driver C! I love the animation of this and the targeted locations of the the bump. Is there any back damage too or just neck? The way this is animated minimized a little bit of the "spike" on the head/neck which I am considering using for Geese. He used to use the Burning Hammer but eschewed it for its head/neck damage. This looks like more of a flat bump on the upper shoulders, neck, and head rather than a spike unnaturally twisting the neck badly like the default Burning Hammers. Really glad to see so many of your great submissions now accessible in the MMA positions too!! 👏 That Kamigoye (Mount) looks especially brutal!

The Victoria Driver does more neck than back iirc, but it does do a bit of both. Probably like 10 and 5, respectively

Yeah, that's perfect. I definitely am going to use that as Geese's new back grapple special 😎
I have 3 like versions of Geese right now, LOL. I think the Victoria Driver will go on his strongest edit.

Steiner Screwdriver B - made for an original edit, so it's not really supposed to resemble Steiner's, but what else are you gonna call it? I'll make it public whenever Steam's back up

Frog Splash C - Meant to be closer to the way Eddie Guerrero did it, but also I gave it a different pin so the attacker doesn't awkwardly switch positions on impact. I think I'm gonna go through the default pinning dives and make B versions of them with the same pin. That's also why this one is labelled C - I'm doing it a bit backwards

Alright, so I altered the pin a bit and slapped it on most of the diving body press type moves, including the moves I've made: Firebird Splash B Shooting Star Press B Shooting Star Press C High Angle Moonsault Press Frog Splash C - altered the facing up angle a bit Diving Body Press B Heavyweight Body Press B (just Diving Body Press in-game) Frog Splash B High Fly Flow B Vaulting Frog Splash B Moonsault Press B Turning Body Press B (Crooked Moonsault Press in-game) Rounding Body Press B (Rapid Moonsault Press in-game) Reverse Firebird Splash B Stardust Press B Shooting Star Press B-1 (original default Shooting Star) Phoenix Splash B (slightly altered so they tuck during the flip) Fire Star Splash B Corkscrew Shooting Star Press B Double Rotation Moonsault B I think it's an improvement in most cases. Also some of them are missing because they don't land diagonally (STARDOM crooked moonsault, 180 frog splash) or it doesn't add anything to use the new pin (STARDOM frog splash, sky twister)
