DDP looks friggin amazing! Agreed. He's a natural for Fire Pro. Most of DDP's moves are in the game as well as his signature taunt.

Productive weekend, if I do say so myself. British boxing great Frank Bruno, hard hitter who fought some of the best Elite 80s Heavyweight Tim Witherspoon, gave Larry Holmes one of his toughest fights. Jake Kilrain of the 1880s and 1890s was one tough guy, fought Sullivan for 75 rounds, fought a fight that went 106 rounds Senora Conquistadora, new to Santana Family Wrestling, a lady born in Mexico who made her name in Japan Daniel Ness, "Textbook" Tim Dwight's training assistant, former Olympic alternate, and mostly broken down at this point, which is why he relies fully on his matwork now The British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith, one heck of a tough guy to make a satisfactory attire for, his 3rd attire syncs with my Dynamite Kid's 3rd attire(AJPW days)

And my first edit after the Jr. Heavy dlc drops...uses absolutely nothing from the pack. Young Stribling, raised by a vaudeville family into the sport, 2nd all time in knockouts, once fought 55 times in one year, fought more rounds than anyone ever did at Heavyweight, only koed once by Max Schmeling.

If you were going to keep the default NJPW edits as close to default as possible, what changes would you make to logic and parameters to fit in the best with Senator's other real-world edits? I am just sort of curious what the biggest issues are with the defaults are. I actually think some of them sim pretty well with Senator's edits (which I credit to Senator), but am curious.
For example my sims with Senator's Hogan vs Tanahashi work out to be great 20 minute matches, but Hogan can never seem to finish him off. It is so close. Seems like he should beat him sometimes after his finish. So seems like they just need to be nerfed a bit.

I haven't gone over the logic for the new defaults, but based off past experience, I'd probably focus on slightly reducing front grapple percentages to big moves, increase percents to basic strikes in the same category and work on the priorities, especially making sure that match enders are properly set up and setting a few mid match spots up. Spike often botches up priority spots, so that's a must. Lowering signature/finishing submission percents and entry points is one more thing to keep an eye out for. I actually just put in some work on 80s Hogan the other day, with one of my intentions to make his finishes a bit more consistent, so he might work better now in that regard.

Keep in mind, if the edit is relying on a running vs downed opponent finish like 80's Hogan, that will affect the win/loss ratio against weaker edits. For example, I've noticed that Hogan rarely wins with the Leg Drop unless it criticals or you get very lucky with the positioning before he starts running.

Very true, he was winning with the Axe Bomber much more often before my last overhaul, but giving him alternate setups into the standing leg drop has helped a lot. If the down time was adjusted just a bit after running to down moves to better allow for a followup, that'd help immensely.

I recall Avenger giving his Hogan the Standing At Head Leg Drop to resolve the issue.

I recall Avenger giving his Hogan the Standing At Head Leg Drop to resolve the issue. The strange thing is that it almost seems like people have been getting up faster after some of the recent patches. I am 99% sure that's just my brain and RNG playing stupid tricks on me, but setups that worked part of the time in the past were almost impossible in some test sims I ran over the last week or so. That's what motivated me to give Hogan a standing leg drop in addition to the running one.

I love seeing the running leg drop spot, event though Tana kept kicking out at 2.9
Thanks for the info.

Got some stuff in over the weekend, although not as much as I wished. Gorilla Power, founder of a new upcoming Wacker Drive Revival stable, the Animal Farm. He's a Chicago born native and trained paramedic(see the Red Alert attire?) that splits his time between the Windy City and Mexico. Gorilla Power is equal parts inspired by agile big men Taurus, Brian Cage and Jeff Cobb. Buddy Baer, brother of lineal champion Max Baer and a hard hitting big man of the 30s in his own right. Billy Robinson, English wrestling legend who carried on the catch as catch can style along with Karl Gotch.

Got Jarrell Miller ready to roll against Anthony Joshua to preview their fight in a few months. Also working on the first current day wrestler I've done in probably a year, AAA's Lady Shani. She'll take a while to complete, though.
