Great edit! Love the color scheme and the great attention to detail. He really looks the part for that Astec feel of things. :D

Glad you like Itzcoatl, Ramon! Got a few wrestlers done for the World of Wrestling over the weekend, and it felt pretty good to get back in the loop in making them, as tough as it was at first to shift back to that direction. 2000s era Jeff Hardy Nick Bockwinkel

Love the Bockwinkel edit! One of my favorites, the man's promos were out of this world.

Another weird request that might be perfect for you- Imi Lichtenfeld; originator of Krav Maga.

Another weird request that might be perfect for you- Imi Lichtenfeld; originator of Krav Maga. A weird one, but an intriguing one, too. I have several books on Krav Maga and have trained with some practitioners in the past, so that'd be a fun one to go for. I'll see what I can do!

Awesome. I love have different styles represented. Modern MMA, Judo, BJJ, Boxing, & Sumo are the most represented in my game, but more karate, freestyle wrestling, etc would be rad. Krav Maga seems pretty crazy too. The really crap part is that Capoeira is probably impossible to represent in game.

There's a few capoeria type moves in the game, luchador style is a must, then give the fighter an absurdly high percent to low kicks, spin heel kicks and keep most of the movement to approach and back off, instead of circle. It wouldn't be perfect, but I now want to make a capoeria fighter to see how good I can get with them. I'd say it'd be no less doable than pure freestyle or greco wrestlers.

Maybe Bimba? I don't know a lot of pure style fighters, as opposed to guys like Silva who mix a little of it in with other styles.

Holy shit, that's cool. Can't wait to try him out against other founders. Wonder if he can handle bjj or Jeet kune do.

I gotta make Bruce Lee at some point. Already been doing my research on Mestre Bimba, and have some ideas on how to get him to function properly. One of my ideas I was kicking around a while back was to make an "Alternate UFC 1", both from the contemporary era, and from a decade or two prior. I think I could come up with some good stuff for that, and making Lichtenfeld puts me somewhat in the mood to dig deeper.

Speaking of "celeb" martial arts practictioners- www.bjjee.com/articles/us-president-teddy-roosevelt-trained-jiu-jitsu-judo/I've been reading a lot about fighting Presidents. Reading about Teddy being a helluva boxer in college, including a story about him knocking out a guy in a bar and stealing his guns. Also, a story about George Washington being a Collar & Elbow guy, and even into his presidency he'd screw with people and Flying Mare cabinet members. And of course, Abe Lincoln; baddest man around.

Yep, Teddy was a regular fighter, and remarkably well rounded for his time. I have rather exaggerated versions of him and Lincoln as part of my old Heroes of History project from FPR. Maybe I should port those over in the upcoming year... --- Also haven't been keeping up with my updates here, got two more for Lightning Pro, a distinguished veteran and an upstart young lioness. Yuriko Masamune, the first Joshi champ for L-Pro many years back, and still at it today. She's the head woman trainer for the organization. Incidentally, she's the one I finally assigned the Burning Hammer to. Rei Hasegawa, daughter to a tech mogul and a former Joshi competitor, got hot shotted out of the L-Pro Dojo within a year's time and believes she has the rare star quality to continue her meteoric rise. Might she be getting a bit ahead of herself, though?
