I've updated my game to the latest version: 2.01.2 and I've had success using some elements of Carzilla's Mod Suite. The following mods work for me with the new update:
- longer names
- alphabetize refs
- alphabetize rings
- better wrestler organization
- no title restrictions
I mainly use these mods to organize my edits, but I'm curious if anyone else has had success using Carlzilla's mods with the new update. If so, which ones? The theme music database, for example, causes my game to crash.
While I do miss some of the mods, I love the new Fire Pro update/DLC. Does anyone know why some mods work and others don't?

There is some limited mods that have been released for 2.0 (granted they will likely have minimal to no support moving forward)- primarily the things you have listed. I would check out the discord channel to whats been pulled over. |

Man, this is the second or third time I've seen someone say that Longer Names works with a 2.xx game, and I still have the stupid tiny character limit in place, no matter how many times I've tried to re-download/re-patch. Life is hard.

The only mod I would like to work for 2.0 is being able to fight outside the ring during the landmine explosion deathmatches.

Carl released a ModPack for 2.0 containing a few of the Modsuite features. It's pretty limited compared to the Modsuite but it's very usefull for fixing a few problems with the base game

I still haven't been able to find the updated 2.0 modpack, but I can confirm that the Free Cam mod works with the latest Fire Pro update, at least with my game.

Whoever. Regardless -- Here's the easiest way to tell the difference between the two: The Mod SUITE is for the OLD 1.02 update - That's supported by Carl and friends over on the FP2 site and Carl's Mod Discord. I'm not really present on either platform, so I can't divulge any details for the Mod Suite. The Mod PACK is for the CURRENT 2.0X update which contains some of the Quality-Of-Life mods ported over and working in current version. These mods aren't fully supported, so don't expect too much troubleshooting beyond "Too bad." DON'T ask me about 1.02 or the Mod Suite in general. Also, don't ask me about the Mod PACK because I haven't set it up yet. If you need help with the Mod PACK, do ask in the #mods section on the C!C Discord, as someone should be able to help. |
