Love the inspirations here. Jumbo epitomizes the 80s AJPW vibe, and I'd very much enjoy seeing him take on some of ZIP Japan's vets. And I take it that Alhazred keeps the Necronomicon handy at ringside during his bouts. Thak you Senator. :) Well Jumbo is available for bookings, so feel free to use him. :) And yes, the Necronomicon is always present during the matches.

Wow, I really love the look of Jumbo!! Definitely captured that 80's All Japan feel. 😎 Ryusuke looks great too! Edit: Forgot to respond to this gold: Speaking of his chops, he got his nickname "Goose" because of the honking grunts he made while putting the chops to his opponents. It started as a derogatory nickname, but Jumbo owned it, and his honking grunts are now as synonymous with him as his signature throat chops. LOL! What voice sample are you using for the "honking grunt" sound!?!? 🦆🦆 I'm paraphrasing Goodfellas here, but I think it best describes the character of Jumbo Matsuda. "Jumbo may have moved slow, but it was only because Jumbo didn't have to move for anybody" That is a great signature line for Jumbo 😎 Thanks Geese! :D I used the American Male 1 voice sample with Wild 6. It reminded me of a really big and angry goose honk. :D I think Mr. Cobra also uses that voice sample.

Thanks Geese! :D I used the American Male 1 voice sample with Wild 6. It reminded me of a really big and angry goose honk. :D I think Mr. Cobra also uses that voice sample. Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I will definitely check that out. I have yet to build the infamous Orochi Goose faction directly in FPW but I ported over all their versions from FPR so they are just waiting to be hatched on everyone, LOL. Good to know that they have at least one voice sample contender for a most improper rallying honk! 🦆 Edit: YES!! I just tested it! It really sounds like he is saying "HONK!" It's so loud and boisterous and unnerving too so it's completely perfect for the Gooses! So excited!!!! You did the Goose's work here 😁👍😁👏

Wow! It's been a while since I posted anything in this thread. Hope everyone's having a great summer. :)
I've been messing about with these two wrestlers for a while now. hope you all like them!
First up is Gunpei Tensai:
Gunpei is a sadistic wrestler who enjoys the suffering and pain of his opponents. He had his teeth filed down to be razor sharp, just so he could easily bleed his oppnonents. He believes he can purify his oppononts through bloodletting, and is known to be quite agile despite his appearance.
Known to almost exlusivley work hardcore matches, nothing is to is to crazy for Gunpei Tensai!
Fictional character, 166 points, full logic, hardcore heel Special skill: Blood
Inspired by: Mr. Gannosuke, Tarzan Goto, Kevin Sullivan, Mr Pogo etc.
Next up is Tokyo Dragon:
This independant high flyer has taken the independant circuit by storm. The Tokyo Dragon used to wrestle under a mask and had a quick tag team run with Ryusuke Ito, but he lost the mask during a fued in Mexico.
Fictional Character, 162 points, high flyer, luchador. Critical skill: Finisher
Inspired by Dragon Lee, Hayabusa, Ultimo Dragon, Jushin Thunder Liger etc.
Let me know what you think. :)

Wow! I can't believe it's been two months since I posted anything here. Well, time to change that. :)
First up is an old edit that should have been published ages ago.
Hank is a journeyman wrestler who got his start right out of West Texas State University who's pretty much seen and done it all. One of the industry's best kept secrets, but you wouldn't know it if you talked to him. Quite the braggart with a passion for brawling. One of his many claims to fame is giving Stan Hansen his finisher because he felt sorry for him. And if you believe that, he has plenty more stories like it.
Fictional Character, 166 points, Old school, veteran, work-horse Critical ability: Finisher
Next I wanted to publish a ring for a new promotion I've been working on.
I call it Grenadier Pro
The ring is kind of a tribute to the regiment where I did military training in late 2003 to early 2004 (mechanized infantry). So the military pattern is the Swedish M90 woodland pattern. and the armored arm on the middle turnbuckle is the insignia of the Swedish Armoured Troops. The company that I was was assigned to was named the Grenadier Company. And I thought it would be cool to make a ring and a promotion around that theme.
Hope you guys like it!

Alright, time for another new ring... and promotion :)
Presenting: Grenade Pro Japan
This is my new promotion I've been working on for a while. It's inspired mostly by BJW ca 2000/2001. When they had their feud with CZW. Would love to hear what you guys think. :) Also, does anyone know any Japanese? I want to know if I got the words/letters in the right order.
I'm also going to show a preview of the roster so far. I haven't started on their logic yet, been having too much fun with the outfits and movesets. :)
---
Ram0n
I decided to re-make my old edit from the Super Fire Prowrestling X Premium animation days. Update his outfit and fighting style.
---
Next is the federation's dojo prospect
Hideki Ishikawa
Hideki is relegated to the undercard but has shown promise in his matches. Resident try-hard who can't seem to catch a break. Inspired by Atsushi Onita, Mikey Whipwreck and Kenta Kobashi.
---
Gaijin Glen
Gaijin Glen is one of those guys who've been on one too many Japanese tours. During his first tour in the land of the rising sun, everyone kept calling him Gaijin. Glen, who've taken maybe just a few too many unprotected chairshots to the head thought it was a nickname of respect and made the announcers use it during his entrance. He also swears he got that bandana from Terry Funk himself, maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but it sure smells like it hasn't been washed since the early nineties. Glen is one half of the heel faction/team Powder Kegs (faction inspired by the game Bloodborne).
---
Ricardo De La Luna
Talent on excursion from Puerto Rico. Ricardo is a risktaking high-flyer who has a devil may care attitude about his wrestling. Loves to finish off his opponents with a variety of moonsaults.
---
Genko Hamada
Unorthodox junior-heavyweight with a chip on his shoulder. Will not hesitate to fight dirty during his matches.
---
Mitsuhiro Saijko
The ace of Grenade Pro Japan, Mitsuhiro is a technical wizard who loves nothing more to kick his opponents into oblivion and finish them off with his package piledriver.
---
Doc Quarry
Big hoss Doc Quarry is the second half of the heel team/faction Powder Kegs. Disgruntled munitions worker who took up pro wrestling gimmick. Not that capable in the ring, usually sticks to brawling, big slams and powerbombs.
---
Yūrei
Resident mysterious mist spitter Yūrei i a popular face in Grenade Pro Japan. Likes to finish off his opponents with the ghost-face cross-face hold.
---
Dillon Abrams
"Dillon... you son of a bitch!" One half of the team Grenadier Originals, a vicious and cunning wrestler who loves to pick his opponents apart piece by piece. Inspired by Tully Blanchard, my lieutenant from military training and the actor Carl Weathers.
---
Johnny No-Cash
Resident hobo wrestler gimmick, a popular brawler who's captured the hearts of the fans. Charismatic wrestler who uses the bionic elbow as his finisher. Inspired by the likes of Necro Butcher, Dusty Rhodes etc.
---
Lou Roberts
Second half of the Grenadier Originals. Veteran wrestler who loves to stretch his opponents from here to eternity. Inspired by my captain from military training, Tim Storm and Arn Andersson.
---
Shino Nakazawa
Resident jobber who can't seem to catch a break.
---
Riku Dario
Dashing Riku Dario is the self proclaimed, sexiest man in Grenade Pro Japan. A flamboyant junior wrestler who lavishes every moment in the spot light and can fight it out with the best of them.
---
I think that's it for now. Let me know what you guys think! :D Now I just have to finish these guys logic.
