Been experimenting, and the new edit parts definitely give you lots of new tricks.

I am still sorta confused why they went with a realistic style for the faces though. And the fur boots look unlike any part in Fire Pro history which makes them stand out like a sore thumb.
Why would they make all those faces and then switch styles? What will future faces be? They did Psycho Clown and Hurricane and such, what if they do more? Will they be classic style like the other 600 heads or the new NJPW style?
Attire parts are great. The faces always seemed jarringly different than the norm, that's all.

Because they made them from scratch at the new resolution, and the old ones are just upscaled from the older, much lower res games.

Fire Pro World added tons of new heads before the new DLC came out and they were all in a different but relatively similar art style to the old ones in terms of detail. The NJPW heads are comparatively much more detailed. An official reason hasn't been given, probably won't be, but it's pretty obvious to me. The NJPW heads are official. Since Spike has the license, they were free to make them as distinctly representative of who they're supposed to be as possible. If you look at the old heads, any of them, none of them are quite there. You can look at the Misawa head and go "yeah, that's Misawa" but it's not so distinctly Misawa that you can't see anything else when you use it besides Misawa. On the other hand, the new Tanahashi head is undeniably Tanahashi, no matter what angle you look at it from.
