As Fire Pro World is on its way to me, and in a few days I'll finally be able to play the bloody thing.
I have a question that hopefully some of you guys could possibly help me with...
Over the last 5 years I have been playing Fire Pro Wrestling 2 on the GBA via emulator on my phone. And I have amasssed quite a few original edits (around 110), I want to port them from the hand-held game to World.
My question is can it be done?
I realise there are differences in the games and I want to keep the logic as close to the GBA titles as I possibly can as I play and not sim.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Of course, it's possible. Only a few moves from FPW2 are not in World and there are viable alternatives to each.
World has additional move slots, so just consider new moves for each situation and you're golden.

Thank you otaku, I can't wait to get started porting, while I'm at it I might as well as put the American defaults into my World game just to fill out my game world.

A lot of them are on the workshop already.
Edit: I specifically mean GBA ports.

I made a Sandman (complete with purple skin tone) and Fujiwara port, so it is doable.

World has additional move slots, so just consider new moves for each situation and you're golden. Yeah, the additional move slots that the past 3 console versions have had is the only stumbling block I've ever encountered when converting edits to and from FPA format. I've done a lot of that over the years, especially from FPA to FPR and vice versa. The need to add (or remove if porting to FPA) moves and the resulting changes in CPU logic can be kind of annoying. But there's so much more that can be done in FPW than FPA/FPA2 so it's ultimately worth porting your favorite edits over to sim/play as. Losing the FPA Northern Lights Suplex whip and a few other moves is frustrating though

There was a fantastic thread on FPC with all the missing moves from previous Fire Pro games with GIFs. I've been playing the story mode of Fire Pro Special & there are loads of moves that didn't even make FPWP
Is there any way to see that thread again?

[Benoit] Redacted and D-Von are incomplete without them.

the testicular claw needs to be added too And here are my gifs of the GBA moves imgur.com/a/JYOQYThey have added the Crotch Claw, Reverse Brainbuster, and Ground Chop now. Too bad Takayama's DLC didn't add his big knee moves that are in the GBA games.

It should probably be in the Arena archive that was posted in the classic section of the forum. I'm downloading it now to check and see if there is a convenient way to share the gifs and info here.

I love the ground chop and also that "punch->punch-> uppercut shotei" combo from FPA!
The Northern Lights Suplex whip is definitely my favorite FPA move though. I've been hoping to see that in a console game ever since the lead-up to FPR. Still waiting. An avalanche version would also be incredible AND could lead to a perfect reversal into a cool tornado DDT.
