Question about a very odd bug: I simmed a match between Okada and Omega, mostly just to make sure I didn't have any lag in the match. I minimized the game and forgot about it, and when I went back to it, Okada had Omega in a chinlock. A few seconds later... still in the chinlock. Two minutes later (in-game time), Omega tapped to the chinlock. Has anyone else had this happen? Edit: Aaaand I'm just stupid. Kenny was set to P1.

I belive prior testing indicated that it steals your finisher UNLESS your finisher is not a front grapple, in which case it steals the S+M slot. So does that mean it's impossible to Okite Yaburi a Rainmaker?

Anyway what I read about requiring an online connection concerns me. If the internet were to disconnect during gameplay, would the game shut down? Or does it merely require an online connection on startup? Either way that is a pain. The way I understand it, it only checks on startup, which is still kind of a pain like you said. If you lose connection, the content will still work fine until you shut down the game, in which case you'll need the internets to start working again to use the content.
If they must have this I'd rather it be an occasional check. Or better yet, not at all.

It's always checking. I turned off the wifi mid-game and an edit with Takayama's move became unplayable.

Any word on what controls the apron grapples then? Maybe just normal stand back vs grab setting? They need two moves now, and they need to add that leaping highkick/enziguri that damn near everyone does these days to set up flying moves. We don't really need a new setting for that. Both people are standing, one just happens to be on the apron. Normal standing logic should apply.

But it didn't before, they always backed away from anyone on the apron which is why you never saw an apron grapple in sim.

Side note: I hate how it defaults to 1P vs CP when you boot World and go make a match

Side note: I hate how it defaults to 1P vs CP when you boot World and go make a match Yeah. I guess the opposite was probably true if you mostly play, but I do wish it would just stay where you leave it.

No new logic setting needed.

The defaulting to 1P is a minor bugger.
The always online DRM on the other hand, I am vehemently against. This was not a good decision by Spike and only serves to punish the average joe who just wants to play the game.
I got a message saying that my Alabama Man edit was unusable offline (he has the Spirit Punch Rush), and as someone who wants people to enjoy whatever edits of mine they choose to pick up whenever they want to, online or no, this legitimately breaks my heart.

I get the frustration, I get frustrated too because I like to play offline when I travel. How would you suggest they go about it though? Anyone could just clone the New Japan guys as edits, then anyone could use them without paying for them. So what should Spike Chunsoft do? I'm asking seriously.

Modify the workshop to tell you if the stuff uses DLC Content or not, using that little search function checkbox thing.
