Your revolution is over, Mr. Lebowski! Condolences! The bums lost! My advice is, do what your parents did! Get a job, sir! The bums will always lose, do you hear me, Lebowski? THE BUMS WILL ALWAYS LOSE! Fuck it.

After tomorrow we are finally going to see gameplay with NJPW edits. Well, technically we've already seen a ton of gameplay with community-created NJPW edits. It'll be nice to see all the new moves and higher quality pics/vids of attires though.

After tomorrow we are finally going to see gameplay with NJPW edits. A dude posted an eight man battle royal from CEO literally a month and a half ago.

I see a lot of people here underselling the content we're getting with this DLC. First off, people are saying that the edits on the workshop look just as good, but I can't agree with that. Don't get me wrong. People have done amazing work with the tools they have. But were getting the exact designs for everyone in the dlc. Not only that, but they're far more detailed than anything that's been in fire pro before. Just look at Yanos tights. They're incredible. More parts means more inventive original characters, and more accurate real life edits. And were getting a TON of new parts. I suppose I understand the criticism if you're the type who doesn't really care that much how an edit looks. But as someone who spends just as much time on appearance as logic, this dlc has me hyped, and if other dlc follows the same formula, then sign me the fuck up. Agreed. The faces on edits look nothing like what I've seen so far from pictures of the NJPW roster. I'm really looking forward to Fire Promoter, and the possibility of the rumored Jr. Heavyweight DLC.

In 11 hours, NEW CANON DATA!!!
We could try to guess point totals.
Guessing Okada will be Top 10 in the series.
I'm really interested in seeing what they do with the New Japan Dads, Machine & Makabe. Do they go with the series' standard stats or they downgrade them to their current status?

Do they go with the series' standard stats or they downgrade them to their current status? There's no real reason Makabe shouldn't be higher than he was in FPR. He's done a lot since then. Even if it's to reflect his current status, he's still one of the top stars in the company. As for lil kazu I'm gonna guess top 5 in the series but it legitimately would not shock me if he was the first 300 point guy.

I think they'll be reasonable with Okada. 190-200ish. No way they'll put him higher than Baba & Inoki.

Baba is 235 and Inoki is 315.
Inoki has more points in his Critical Type and Special Skill than some lower level canon characters have in TOTAL.
Jumbo has 312, but he's more deadly than Inoki because his logic/moveset lines up with his Params better and he spams backdrops.
I'm calling 260-ish for Okada.

After tomorrow we are finally going to see gameplay with NJPW edits. Some logical words to steer this thread back in the proper direction. Just give me videos of Super Strong Machine vs. everyone on the roster, and I'd be happy enough to not need to purchase the DLC.

So bnavarro steers this thread in the right direction, and you bring it right back around with the Super Strong Machine references... PROGRESS :)

Fascinating, is there somewhere I can see all of the stats for all of the wrestlers that have been used?

I've never really used the defaults so I guess I just forgot how OP Inoki was.
