Buying games on the Japanese PlayStation store is actually really easy. There's a lot of guides. would I be able to play it on my uk psn and get the dlc from the uk store if I did buy it ? Also could I set the game to English txt ? Sorry so many questions lol also worried the the English txt would be messed up or kinda lost in translation so to speak
Yes, you would be able to play it on any PSN account, but if you're only buying the base game from the Japanese PlayStation Store, or a physical copy of the game in Japanese, you will need to also get the DLC from that store as it comes out or purchase the season pass separately from that same store. Even if a game is multi-region and the DLC is all identical, because of how the games work, the only thing that is linked between different regions is the achievement list. extra content has to be purchased on the corresponding region's PSN Store.
As for the English text... I'm not sure, but I suspect it might be an option, if it's anything like the PC version. Don't take my word for it, however. If you're not really able to navigate thru menus in Japanese, and don't have enough of an understanding of Japanese (or at least an understanding of Japanese grammar and a dictionary or means of looking up kanji on your phone), it might be a bad idea to get it, even if you're given a chance to faff about with Firepro 3 weeks early.

yeah I was worried about that I think il leave it till it’s out in the uk what is also worrying as they seem to have pushed that back to September on amazon which sucks

Custom ring images are exported from PC and downloaded on PS4 per Matsumoto in Twitter DM.
Does that open the door for a similar system with edits?

You have the hookup with Matsumoto?! :O I'd love to see them figure out a way of transferring PC edits -- I remember one person suggesting an image with edit info encoded into it. Which I think is an idea someone got from an adult computer game... but still.

It seems like there should be a way to do it with a QR code system or something. I'm not sure if Spike-Chunsoft has the ability to implement something like that, though.

I'm sure they do, but I'm not sure if a QR code would hold enough information for an edit wrestler. I think the info contained within edits might be just slightly over 3KB.

"By the way, today's issue of Weekly Famitsu has a report published about "Fire Pro World." It includes information on included music and custom soundtrack support, and a directory of the SWA roster (default wrestlers). Besides that, you may also read a collected memoir from the staff of "Seikimatsu Days."
Or something like that.

Given that a lot of those themes have long intros, I wonder if they're edited or if we're getting a "wait" feature like the theme database.
Also, lol at this little niche wrestling game getting custom themes before 2k, which excels in presentation.

I'm pretty sure that just shot 2K's excuse of not being able to have custom themes because of Sony's lack of support all to hell.

I know the feeling, man, but I'm not surprised that Suzuki's theme wouldn't make the cut. :(
I'm more disappointed that Goto and Naito don't have their themes... I get why (they're not composed by Yonosuke Kitamura) but still.
