Great Oni Memorial Tournament II September 2nd and 3rd 2018

Great Oni Memorial Junior Tournament II is here



On Jan. 1, 2016, a plane accident in the Rockies claimed the life of one of the original MCW icons, Great Oni. A multi time World, Junior and Tag champion, Great Oni was a leader, friend, rival, champion, bastard and lover to many fans.



With his passing, the management of Tiger Stripe Pro has called for a Juniorweight tournament in his name, again. The Tournament will see 30* of FPWA and affiliated federations best crusier/junior/light heavyweight wrestlers compete for the ONI CUP.



I also would like to dedicate the tournament to Fullbug who won last year.









Along with the ONI CUP, the winning wrestler receives prize money up to 16,000 Armenian Dram and a 1988 Hyundai Pony.



*Out of the possible 32 wrestlers in the tournament, Tiger Stripe Pro will enter two participants in the tournament, leaving 30 slots open.



Rules and Tournament Breakdown

- I will take up to 30 entrants. If get don’t get enough, I will use my own juniors up to the closest round number. If I get more than 30, I will figure something out so everyone can have a go.

-You can enter up to two participants.

-Wrestlers need to be at or under the 205 lbs. weight limit as per Tiger Stripe Pro federation rules.

- Point limit will be at 185

- I will run a series of simulations to figure out tournament rankings and post the brackets soon thereafter.

-During testing, if your edit seems overpowered, cement or otherwise unbalanced, I will contact you and can hopefully work something out. I want this to be as fun as possible for everyone.



Deadline for wrestlers/edits will be August 1st. Streaming is TBD. Recordings will be made for posterity.
