On the heels of Lucha POWER’s latest show, the announcement was made regarding the date and card for this year’s Lucha Fantastico- the companies annual cross promotion show with Warrior Pro Wrestling. LUCHA FANTASTICO WILL AIR LIVE ON MARCH 4th at 5:30pm PT on TWITCH ?? vs Nightmare Clown
El Macho & Doctor Dorado vs The Jackson Hole Outlaws
Community Trios Match
Los Terribles vs Dungeon Dominguez and Jack Gold
Lucha Power Championship: Diego Guerrero (c) vs Doc WyattWhile the main event features representatives from both companies for the Lucha POWER Championship, the rest of the card appears to be without the usual Warrior Pro participation. Specifically, the tradition that the Warrior Pro World Title be defended on the show is noticeably missing. Tank McDaniel shed some light on the situation with a release statement late last night: Warrior Grounds #24 will be presented this Friday- February 26th. The Card: Red Masterson vs Jimmy Hawkins
Tag Team Championship: Grim Reapers (c) vs Nightmare Clown & Loco Dixon
World Heavyweight Championship: John Logan (c) vs Brick Casey

With continued travel restrictions and complications regarding their World Champion, there have been changes to the usual format to both the lead in to Lucha Fantastico, the co-branded supershow between Lucha POWER and Warrior Pro, and its accompanying go home show. For one, Warrior Grounds this Friday will not take place in Mexico City as per the usual tradition, and will instead reside in the normal confines of Gorilla Hall. Second, for the first time, the Warrior Pro World Title will not be defended on Lucha Fantastico. Instead, the go-home show will be a loaded one, with two titles on the line, as well as appearances by top stars Rampage Hunter and the Jackson Hole Outlaws. Match Preview:Red Masterson vs Jimmy HawkinsTwo up and coming stars looking to shake off high profile losses and get back on the winning path. This will be a match-up of speed vs power and may come down to how well Jimmy Hawkins can avoid the big Texan’s ring rattling lariat. The winner should put themselves back on the short list for the next singles title opportunity. Tag Team Championship: Grim Reapers (c) vs Nightmare Clown & Loco DixonThe sole cross promotional match on the card see’s Lucha POWER’s Nightmare Clown and Loco Dixon getting their first shot at tag team gold against the newly minted champs. The Reapers have proven able to adapt to different styles during their first reign, but this one should test that. Both Nightmare and Loco are expected to use all objects at their disposal, and a win would be a feather in the cap for El Macho leading into the cross promotional show, but getting past one of the most dominant tag teams in the world will be no easy feat. World Heavyweight Championship: John Logan (c) vs Brick CaseyBrick earned this shot when he beat Vic Baron at High Noon earlier this month, with this shot coming almost exactly a year from when he nearly defeated Baron for the belt at last years Lucha Fantastico. He’ll go up against John Logan, who’s looking to become just the third champion in company history to successfully defend the title twice. This may come down to whether or not Logan can avoid the big man and land enough of his own stuff to keep the big man down, because if he can’t- the red hot veteran may finally be able to add his first world title in nearly 10 years to his resume. Ahead of Friday’s show, both Brick Casey and John Logan gave statements via video teleconference… Brick CaseyJohn Logan

The season finale of Lucha POWER comes this Thursday with the annual Lucha Supershow that will see a jam packed card headlined by a cross promotional match for the Lucha POWER championship. All the action kicks off promptly at 5:30pm PT LIVE on Twitch! Match PreviewsVaquero vs Nightmare ClownFreshly signed to the promotion, Vaquero will have his Lucha POWER debut against the dangerous and unpredictable Nightmare Clown. Vaquero is rumored to be a fast, high flying luchadore that has pleased crowds all across Mexico and is looking to bring that charisma to a mainstream audience. The challenge will be not to be broken in half by Nightmare, who has a tendency to use everything at his disposal to ensure he grounds high flying opponents. Doctor Dorado & El Macho vs Jackson Hole Outlaws (Animal & Roy)The ultimate grudge match. Dorado, who was kidnapped by Doc Wyatt and his Outlaw goons to force El Macho's hand in granting him a title shot, is looking for revenge against the group. He will fight side by side with El Macho, who will be fighting one week from the anniversary of losing his mask last year, and will no doubt want to end this year's show on a more positive note. The Outlaw tag team of Roy Carter and Bo "The Animal" Leslie will make their debut with an eye up north, hoping an impressive victory in a big show will get their name in the title picture back home at Warrior Pro... Community Trios Showcase: Hexagon Jr., Silver Blaze, El Experto (SFW) vs Super Mohan (La Guerra), Rodimus Prime (STRUGGLE), Arnazito Miracolo (HTW)In what has become an annual tradition, luchadores from all over will compete in a lucha rules trio's match. Representatives from Humble, STRUGGLE, Santana Family Wrestling, and La Guerra will match up with indie talent and Lucha POWER's own Hexagon Jr. This should be an action packed match filled with highlights from companies all around the world. [Los Terribles vs Dungeon and Jack Gold (with Paco Pequeno)This match has been simmering for moths. It was Pantero who ended Dungeon Dominguez's nearly one year title reign- one that contained more than one war with Pantero's cousin Lobo Muerte. Paco Pequeno's ever expanding stable of talent is looking to make a statement and prove that his clients should be considered for the next title shot, and what better way to do that than beat a team of former Lucha POWER and Warrior Pro champions. Meanwhile Los Terribles are out for blood after continuous attacks have left both Lobo and Pantero beaten and bloodied. Expect this one to be violent. Lucha POWER Championship: Diego Guerrero (c) vs Doc WyattThe main event may be the biggest match the company has hosted since El Macho took over ownership. Doc, one of the top heels in wrestling, went to great lengths to secure this match and give himself a shot to be the first wrestler to actively hold belts in both Warrior Pro and Lucha POWER. He will have to get past Diego Guerrero, the current champ who won his belt by winning a tournament that included impressive wins over Lobo Muerte and Jack Gold, then defeating Pantero Negro Jr for the shocking upset. Doc has traditionally struggled against luchas and Diego has been red hot, but you can never count out Doc and his antics- either way this has a good shot to be a classic.

A message from the PEWA Luke Powers: So I took my shot at the top again, and turned out that ol' Hobo's still got more miracles left in his tank. I gave it my best, and he still found a way to hold onto that damn belt. And the real joke here is that he couldn't even care less about it. Guy just wants to have matches, moonsault on people, train the up and coming and support the Salvation Army. Full respect on that.
Jack Fury: He is one of us, a dying breed. A man who only remains in this business because competition is ingrained into his very essence. And sometimes, for us, it is hard to believe that there may yet be others out there who strive as we do.
Powers: And that's where Rampage Hunter comes into this. You see, I don't just close myself off from the rest of the wrestling world. I may be PEWA thorugh and through, Philly for life, until the day I die, but I'm always checking out what else is going on out there. And I was watching one of the best damn shows of the year, Warrior Grounds #24, and right as that comes on, I hear Rampage open up speaking my name. This guy calls me the legend, and thinks he can get a big time show stealing match out of me. And all of you that know me, you know I don't BS. I don't do fake hype. I just lost a big title match to an old ass transient dude with a grey beard and a wardrobe straight out of Goodwill...serious, I'm not joking, that's where Harry gets his stuff. And I'm thinking, "you're calling me the legend, come on, man, I've seen better days! But then, like I said, I don't BS, I don't do fake hype, but I also don't do the fake modest act, either. I think, "you know, I'm the most decorated mother friggin man in PEWA history," and I tell myself "that didn't just go away because I didn't get the job done." So you know, Rampage is damn right, I'm the legend. And then I start thinking about this match he's asking for, and I see a guy who's taken care of things everywhere he's gone. Rampage Hunter is legit. He hits like a strong safety blitz, gets up from anything and he backs down from nobody.
Fury: Sounds like someone I know, in all truthfulness.
Powers: So yeah, Rampage, you want it, you'll get it. Let's blast that roof into orbit and give your fans something that they'll remember for a long, long time.

Earlier today Warrior Pro Wrestling announced their next slate of show's with some big names and big matches headlining the both Warrior Grounds and their big April show... March 26th- Warrior Grounds #25The Card: Luxurious Purple Jacket Match: Tommy "Masshole" O'Malley vs "Young Gun" Byron Worthy vs Markus Winter Red Masterson & Cowboy Johnston vs Baron Family The quarter century show for Warrior Grounds is a stacked card. Tommy O'Malley has been wearing the LBJ for months now without comment, but after it was announced that he would face legal consequences if he didn't defend it, the resident drunkard seems to be looking for a loophole based on his announced match. We also currently have few details on why rivals Red and Cowboy are teaming up, though we're hearing we may get an explanation on the show itself April 1st- End of the RoadThe Card (as of today): TBA TBA Rampage Hunter vs Luke Powers Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Grim Reapers vs Outlaws (Animal & Carter) Warrior Pro Intercontinental Championship: Doc Wyatt (c) vs Robino Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: John Logan (c) vs Young Blood (in a steel cage) The back half of this card might be the strongest in the promotions history. All four of the matches announced could be MotY contenders, and sources say the remaining as yet announced matches are also big and expected to be announced at Warrior Grounds next week. All of this on the last show before the annual Golden Gate Tournament kicks off in May. Tune back here next week for all the lead up into Warrior Grounds...

Friday will mark a quarter century of house shows for Warrior Pro Wrestling, and the lineup- which leads into one of the most stacked cards in the history of the promotion- should prove to be one of the more entertaining, with a fancy jacket on the line, and an all star tag team main eventing. There is also word that Doc Wyatt will be on hand to give his first thoughts since turning on Robino, and winning the Lucha POWER championship. Check back here THIS FRIDAY for the full Warrior Grounds #25 show! Card Preview:LPJ Match: Tommy "Masshole" O'Malley vs "Young Gun"For the first time in over a year the Luxurious Purple Jacket will be defended, though it will be under extremely controversial circumstances. Tommy O’Malley, who by all accounts stole the jacket, will be defending it against a Baron School “Young Gun” trainee. It should be noted that this match has not been sanctioned by iWe, the promotion that owns the jacket, nor are they recognizing O’Malley as the true owner (the last official winner would be American Mullet). Rumors have it that iWe is planning to send someone to the show to get this mess straightened out... Byron Worthy vs Markus WinterTwo of the companies future stars face off in a match that could one day be viewed as a main event. Both are looking for wins to start a push toward the G2 tournament so expect this one to be an intense hard hitting affair. There have been rumors flying around that Virgil Wyatt has taken an interest in Byron Worthy and may begin to officially manage the promising young star. Red Masterson & Cowboy Johnston vs The Baron FamilyIn a shocking turn of events, Red Masterson announced last week that he would team with Cowboy for the main event of this show. Why would two men that have been throwing insults back and forth at each other for over a year team up? We’ve been told Red will address just that before their match on the show. Needless to say if this is a long term pairing, Red may have finally found the ally that can even the odds against Wyatt’s destruction. As for their opponents, the Baron Family makes this an all Texas showdown featuring two legends (Austin and Cowboy) and two men looking to forge their own legacy (Vic and Red). Regardless of who wins, this should be a worthy main event to a milestone show.

A press conference that was scheduled at noon today to promote THIS THURSDAY's Warrior Pro show was abruptly canceled after conflicts erupted from the camps of both main event fighters. Traditionally, Warrior Pro has made its main event participants available to the media the week of the show- but last night signals from both fighters put that plan at risk. Sources state Young Blood had no plans to even be in San Jose until the day of the show, and was planning to send lackey Standford Bradley instead. As those rumors picked up steam, this morning John Logan indicated that he would also skip the presser and instead send manager Paco Pequeno. Already facing heavy pressure from Midas Mathews,-who owns the contracts of both main event fighters and has been vocal in his displeasure that the rematch isnt happening in his own company- owner Tank McDaniel called the whole thing off roughly an hour before reporters were to show up. Instead, Tank gave a brief statement that was also broadcast on the company's website. He took no questions and was obviously in a foul mood while speaking: End of the Road will broadcast LIVE ON TWITCH at 5:30pm PT THIS THURSDAY

We're a little over 24 hours before what's shaping up to be one of the biggest shows in the history of Warrior Pro. All titles on the line. A match for the fate of the Luxurious Purple Jacket. A dream match between two of the hardest hitting and most decorated wrestlers in the sport today. And a rematch of one of the best matches of the year.
All of this will take place tomorrow, LIVE on TWITCH at 5:30pm PT from Moffett Field in San Jose, California. Match Preview:LPJ Match: Tommy "Masshole" O'Mally vs Bradley BanksAfter over a year of inactivity from one of the most prestigious events in wrestling due to the pandemic, the Luxurious Purple Jacket was stolen and claimed by local drunkard Tommy O'Malley. After staging a "defense" of the jacket against a Warrior Pro "Young Gun" trainee, current iWe champion Bradley Banks issued a challenge in order to bring the jacket back to its rightful home under the iWe banner. This could get interesting, given the unpredictable nature of how the jacket landed with Tommy to begin with. Red Masterson vs Jimmy Hawkins IIWhat may have looked like a tune up match for Red Masterson after officially exiting the Outlaws turned into a 5 star war at Warrior Grounds #24, with Jimmy Hawkins taking it to the big Texan. Hawkins has been on fire over the last 6 months, earning wins over top guys including current champ John Logan and coming within a hair of winning both the World and IC titles. Red on the other hand has struggled since his break up with the Outlaws, and needs to get back on track with a decisive win. Both men have their eyes focused on the upcoming G2 tournament and building momentum as it approaches. This could be the dark horse pick for match of the night... Rampage Hunter vs Luke PowersRampage has fought all over the country, winning belts in PCP, Tiger Stripe Pro, and iWe. But now he's not looking for a title shot, just a chance to test his meddle against one of the all time greats, and a personal hero. Luke Powers vs Rampage is a dream match up, and a potential chance to look at the past vs the future in what is sure to be a classic battle of two men trying to knock each other out with big powerbombs and vicious spears. This one is for bragging rights, but one has to wonder if the winner might start peaking at gold in the loser's promotion. Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Grim Reapers vs Outlaws (Animal & Carter)The Outlaws are reformed and retooled- with the current configuration of Roy Carter and Bo "The Animal" Leslie a combination of two fierce tag team partners that each have a history of success in the division both inside and outside the company. But the challenge they face to win gold is deep. The Grim Reapers have been reaping opponents basically since the moment they signed with the company, and a win here would cement them as the greatest tag team in the companies history. Warrior Pro Intercontinental Championship: Doc Wyatt (c) vs RobinoThis one has... layers. When the IC title was first introduced, Robino walked through almost the entire Jackson Hole Outlaw crew in order to become its inaugural champion. So it was a bit of a shock when Doc Wyatt, who has been re-tooling the group after a tumultuous summer, asked the iWe star to join. The invitation turned out to be a planned double cross as Doc set him up for a vicious beat down to send a message that he was the one and true champion of the division. Now we'll see the two longest reigning IC champions duke it out in what should be a classic match. Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: John Logan (c) vs Young Blood (in a steel cage)Another match that has been building for months. When Midas Mathews signed both John Logan and Young Blood to his Golden Touch Promotion's brand, many thought it would be the start of a massive coup for the head of The Office. Instead, it almost instantly blew up in his face. In a match to determine who would be the leader of the group, Young Blood dropped Logan right on his head outside the ring, ending the match before it ever really got started. Logan has been pining for a rematch ever since, and after Midas balked at the idea, he went back to his Warrior Pro roots and had Tank McDaniel book the match for the Warrior Pro title. This one is sure to be brutal and bloody, but the ramifications, regardless of who wins, will reverberate throughout the wrestling world.

A Message from the Desk of Senatorial Office Chairman, Morgan "Midas" Matthews: Morgan "Midas" Matthews: I have been pestered by the media to provide some sort of statement on this upcoming matchup between my Golden Touch VIP Club Captain, John Logan and Young Blood. I have been asked to pick sides between these two contracted employees of mine. Many have wanted me to make my prediction between them.
Midas: If you want my opinion so badly, then I will provide it. And what I want everyone to know is that I couldn't care less either way about a contest that takes place on someone else's broadcast. John Logan seems to have forgotten that when I signed him to an unprecedented contract, that he was seen as a failure on his last chance, a once-promising prospect who failed to live up to the extensive promotional efforts that his organization wasted on him. That was the man I took a risk on signing to Golden Touch, a man who I trusted to be the Captain of my VIP Club, because I saw the drive and the potential that others failed to unlock. This is a man I believed in. And a man who seems to forget just what he owes me.
Midas: And then you have Young Blood. He lacks gratitude, and that is just the beginning of his many faults. Young Blood is not refined, he doesn't care about business considerations, he can barely function within civilization itself. But all of that could be forgiven as long as he produced. And he did...for a time. But anymore, he lost his spot as my Captain because he couldn't follow the most basic of instructions. He has disappointed me numerous times in the ring. And I have to wonder, with him splitting his time in so many places, with the losses piling up, if he hasn't depleted his value for me.
Midas: What I am saying here, is that I don't really care about either of them at this time, not with them making me no money at all with this match. To the competitors, I simply say; do what you will. You have much to prove. And I do not back losers. So settle your business, and we will deal later. That is all I have to say on this matter, at this time.
