At a recent Warrior Pro Wrestling autograph session, someone made the mistake of putting Rampage Hunter and Doc Wyatt next to each other. A fan caught the following exchange on his cellphone and uploaded… (Both men are sitting at desks signing autographs yelling at each other. Brick is sitting next to Doc, arms folded staring emotionless at the crowd.)
Hunter: Aint no way you could beat Rampage again. Aint no way. That there was a fluke. A once in a million fluke. You nothin. You NOTHIN.
Doc: Keep running that mouth of yours, it’s certainly better than your wrestling.
Hunter: Gimme my rematch!
Doc: What? No. I don’t see any reason to do that. I beat you- you lost. I’m moving on.
Hunter: Can’t move on- I ain’t gonna let you. You lucked out, that match goes my way 99 times out of 100.
Doc: Listen, I know this is a hard concept for you, but granting a title match on the grounds of losing a title match is nonsensical. Besides, I’ve cleaned out the division. Time for Tank to get off his broken ass and find me a new challenger. I’ve proven all I need with this roster.
Brick: Aint beat me.
Doc: (Turns to Brick, confused) What did you say?
Brick: Said you aint beat me. Ain’t cleaned out nothin till you beat me.
(Brick stands up and faces Doc. Doc tentatively stands looking quizzically)
Hunter: Nah man, you aint giving your bro a shot. You aint giving him MY shot.
Doc: (Still looking at Brick) I’m not giving my bro anything. He wants a shot? He can earn it. Just like you. You two swinging dicks want my belt? Fight for it. I’m done with this.
(Doc walks off as Brick and Hunter square off as the video cuts out) Pff, "mistake," he says. Warrior Pro totally did that on purpose.

The first (and last) stop before the next big event, BATTLE LINES, drops this Friday November 16th- as Warrior Grounds is set to deliver another fun taped show. This one will center around the two co-main events for BATTLE LINES: A cross promotional showdown between John Logan and Adrien Lawton, and the World Heavyweight Title. Can Logan and Lawton secure wins ahead of their big clash? Who will get the next shot at Doc’s Heavyweight Title? Match Previews: John Logan vs Jay Zero (the rest of the Starboys barred from ringside)This match came at the insistence of Logan, who wanted to get his hands on the man who trained Lawton. Will Logan be able to secure a win ahead of his big showdown? Or will the Starboys continue to be a thorn in the side of the entire Warrior Pro roster? Adrian Lawton vs Bobby Clash (the rest of Gears of War barred from ringside)Lawton was ringside when his Starboys buddies finished off Gears of War. Now Bobby Clash gets a shot at revenge- but that will not be an easy task. Lawton will get his first crack at the Warrior Pro roster in what he is calling a “warm up” before facing John Logan. Rampage Hunter vs Brick (winner gets Heavyweight Title shot at Battle Lines)To say this is personal would be putting it mildly. The former teacher and pupil had an emotion match last time out, with Rampage finishing off Brick with his signature torture rack- a move Brick taught and gifted to the big man. This match, with a title shot on the line, should be everything the first match was and more. Promos up on WPW.com… John Logan I hope you’re paying attention Lawton. I hope you watch my match on Friday real close. Because I’m going to pick apart your boy Jay Zero. Gonna make him wish he never took this fight. You AAW boys have had your fun, but now it’s time to get the fuck outta my ring. Friday is Jay Zero’s time. November 30th? Lawton that’s your turn. Clock’s ticking… Rampage Hunter These last few weeks been hell on motherfucking earth. Can’t eat. Can’t sleep. Aint even been trainin. I get my dream- my destiny. A Heavyweight championship opportunity. And I fuckin blow it. That aint happenin again. Rampage Hunter aint gonna let nothing like that happen again. You wanna get in the middle of that Brick? You a damn fool. I ended this here relationship once. Finished you with yo own ass move. Wanna go again. Fine. Lets go again. Ramapge aint no ones pupil. Rampage his own teacher now. You dead. Adrien Lawton (There are reports that Lawton skipped an interview commitment for Warrior Pro. No reason was given, though updates will be posted as more information surfaces.)

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE:
In an effort to address rumors around Adrien Lawton, we can confirm that Mr. Lawton did not appear for a scheduled interview for his upcoming match at Warrior Grounds #5. He was also scheduled to appear for a pre-match physical, which is common practice, and did not appear. As he is not a contracted performer of Warrior Pro Wrestling, these commitments are voluntary and not required, and it is the expectation that his match with Bobby Clash will go on as scheduled tomorrow.
We have reached out to the Belmonte brothers but have received no comment on Mr. Lawton's status (though to be fair their contact information lists a pay phone in the middle of New Jersey). We will continue to monitor the situation and will make updates to the card as needed.
Thank you, and hope to see everyone at Pioneer Hall tomorrow for a fantastic show.
-Roger Craig, Head of PR Marketing.

The first and only house show before Battle Lines proved to be a good one, setting the stage for what should be a much anticipated event at the end of the month. As always, see below for full results, recaps, and promos from the show. John Logan vs Jay Zero (the rest of the Starboys barred from ringside)Before the match starts, Jay grabs a mic and insists that Adrien Lawton is in the building and ready for his match, that any rumors that he won’t perform are overblown. He then drops the mic, and the bell sounds to start the match. Recap: If John Logan thought this was just a warm up match for his battle with Adrien Lawton, no one told Jay Zero. The AAW veteran brought everything he had to this match, and the aggressive offense appeared to catch Logan by surprise. Zero peppered a clever combination of suplexes and kicks to keep Logan off balance and unable to gain a sizable advantage. As the match wore on Zero added submission attempts to both the neck and legs to further compromise the Warrior Pro representative. Finally Logan seemed to go for broke, hitting his patented senton dive followed with his “Cannon” dropkick for a close near fall. Zero came back with a cutter for a near fall of his own. Action picked up from there as both men exchanged nearfalls. Logan looks gassed, and Zero with all the momentum and he hits near fall after near fall. Logan gets tossed outside, and seems to take an extra couple of seconds to gather himself. Once back in the ring he counters Zero and starts to lay on the offense, eventually hitting the Logan’s Run DDT for the pinfall.
Winner: John Logan Rating: *** Vic Baron walks down to the ring and grabs a mic…“People have been asking me- Vic, are you still committed to Warrior Pro? How come we seem to be seeing so much of you in Super Hyper Turbo? What’s goin on here? I didn’t have much of an answer for them. The reality was, after losing to John Logan, and forfeiting any Heavyweight Title chances for the remainder of the year, I wasn’t in a good place. Then I go to Canada, and got the opportunity to work with Will Craddock’s crew and I think- this aint bad. Maybe. (Light boos break out)But Machine Gun Mayhem woke me up. And beating him made me realize something, I still have a lot to prove to you people. And then Roy Carter. Roy fucking Carter. You made the biggest mistake. You attacked my family. You are going to deeply regret that. You want a match at Battle Lines? You want to feel what its like to get suplexed out of your shoes? To pass out in the Killa Crossface? Its your funeral. See you on November 30th chump. (Drops the mic and walks out of the ring)Adrian Lawton vs Bobby Clash (the rest of Gears of War barred from ringside) Recap: Walking to the ring, oblivious to the boos raining down on him, Lawton strolls as if he’s the hottest guy in the building.
Lawton comes out firing right from the start, overwhelming Bobby Clash with strikes and takedowns. This looks like it might end very quickly. But Clash settles down, and starts to thwart some of Lawtons offense, using his underrated strength to control the action and prevent Lawton from completely dictating where the match went. But as the match goes on it starts to become apparent that while Clash is making Lawton work for it, he seems unable to take control of the match. Lawton hits back to back piledrivers for near falls. Clash hits a triple fisherman but can’t follow it up with anything. Lawton continues to dictate pace, but neither side seems able to gain the upper hand, until Lawton nails a pedigree followed with a grounded german suplex, followed by a delayed brainbuster. Clash seems deeply out of it but is still fighting, hitting a round of suplexes of his own. Its not enough, Lawton hits his third sitting piledriver for the 3 count.
Winner: Adrien Lawton Rating: *** After the match…John Logan walks to the ring and motions for a mic, but Lawton puts his hand up before Logan can even get his hands on one. Lawton starts to chuckle, shakes his head, and proceeds to exit the ring. Logan looks on, baffled by what just happened… Rampage Hunter vs Brick (winner gets Heavyweight Title shot at Battle Lines) Recap: Perhaps the best Warrior Grounds match yet- these two picked up right where they left off in their last match. No feeling out, both men went right at each other with hard strikes and slams. We even see a rare rope run from Brick resulting in a sick running head but from the giant. Neither side seems able to gain an advantage- Brick puts together a string of short lariats, the Hunter counters with hammer fists and a suplex. German suplex from Brick, fall away slam from Hunter. The initial burst starts to wear on both men and the pace slows down. Hunter, sensing an opening, hits a lariat and tries to follow with a spear but telegraphs it and Brick moves out of the way, countering into a side slam. Military press from Brick but he’s too gassed to follow up. Brick looks visibly tired now, and Rampage smells blood. Overhead German from Hunter, into another fall away slam. Brick trying to fight back Hunters offense but it’s clear he doesn’t have much left. Another overhead suplex from Hunter. Then another that dumps Brick outside. Brawling outside before they’re back in the ring… and Hunter dumps Brick outside again. After more brawling the match gets back inside, and Brick tries desperately to shift momentum, landing a head butt- but before he can mount any kind of attack, Hunter counters into a LIGHTS OUT powerbomb for the…cloooose near fall. Hunter picks him up and sends him to the rope for a pop up powerbomb. He sets him up for the spear but Brick counters and both men are down. Both men get up but Brick looks spent. Backbreaker from Hunter, followed by a running lariat, followed by a SPEAR for the the….pin fall victory.
Winner: Rampage Hunter Rating: **** After the match…Brick immediately gets up and the two big men stare each other down, as if another fight is going to break out… until Brick offers his hand to Hunter. Hunter takes a long pause, eyeing the hand, before accepting and shaking. Both men exchange private words before Brick pats Hunter on the shoulder and heads to the back as Rampage starts to celebrate.
As Brick is leaving Doc Wyatt shows up, looking visibly confused. You can see him ask Brick, “What was that?” Brick walks past him without acknowledgement. As the show goes off the air, both Rampage and Doc are seen pointing and exchanging words… No wrestlers were available for questions after the show, but it was announced that the official press conference for Battle Lines would be held next week, with live Q&A from all the main eventers...

OFFICIAL 2018 BATTLE LINES PRESS CONFERENCE
(At the main table sit Head of PR Marketing Roger Craig, with Heavyweight Champ Doc Wyatt on his right, and challenger Kevin “Rampage” Hunter on his left. To the left of Rampage is John Logan. To the right of Doc Wyatt is an empty chair with the name tag for Adrien Lawton. Logan is sitting back in his chair, visibly irritated)
Roger Craig: Welcome everyone to the official press conference for Battle Lines, our next event from Warrior Pro wrestling that will be held November 30th at 4pm PT. I have with me the participants from our exciting co-main event- Rampage vs Doc for the Heavyweight Title, and a cross promotional clash of John Logan vs Adrien Lawton from AAW.
Before we get started with questions, as you can probably see, Mr. Lawton is not present. I do not have any information on his whereabouts or reason for not being here today, but I have been assured that his match with John Logan is still on at this point.
Reporter: Can you give a status on Tank?
Craig: Tank is doing well. The ribs are healing and he’s started to get back to business as usual. His plan right now is to attend the event, and you should start seeing him back at these press conferences instead of my old mug.
(laughs)
Reporter: John- this has to be frustrating for you, with Lawton seemingly unwilling or unable to promote this fight. How is this impacting your preparation and do you think he shows up next week?
Logan: He absolutely better show up. If he makes me fly all the way to New Jersey to give him an ass kicking… that will REALLY irritate me. Everything this guy and his buddies have done since they showed up has been disrespectful. They show up and attack Gears of War. Lawton runs through the crowd three on one gang up on Riot. Lawton calls out THIS roster on a show he wasn’t even supposed to be on. And I accepted that challenge- face to face. And now this bullshit. That’s all this is. Bullshit.
Doc: Ever think he may just not think you’re good enough?
Logan: Shut up Doc.
Doc: No really. I mean, I don’t think you deserve a crack at Lawton. That man is a champion. You haven’t won a single big event match this company has thrown at you. In fact neither of you (pointing at Logan and Rampage) deserve anything. I have to admit, I admire Lawton- the man has taste. But seriously, maybe when he made that challenge, he was expecting someone… more exciting?
Logan: Fuck you Doc! (gets up facing Doc)
Rampage: (standing up) Simmer man. This my shot, ain’t yours. Your guy didn’t show, that don’t mean you gotta start beefing with my guy. You wanna shot at that suit, you gonna have to get in line and wait your turn.
(Logan's gaze moves back to Rampage and both men stare each other down before cautiously sitting as security starts to inch closer).
Logan: (Still eyeing Rampage, turns back to the reporters). You want to make this interesting Lawton? Lets put stakes on this. Loser leaves town. If I can’t beat you I don’t deserve to be in this company. And when I do beat you, I don’t want to see your punk ass hanging around anymore.
And let’s go one step further. Winner gets a title shot. Cmon Lawton, I know how much you like gold.
Reporter: Is that something that can be sanctioned?
Craig: Uh… yeah I just got a text, looks like Tank is good with the stipulation.
Doc: Ugh of course he is, anything for his ACE that never wins.
Reporter: Rampage- how will this match be different from your last one against Doc
Doc: I’ll answer that one actually. It won’t. I hate to kill the promotion of this fight, but there will be nothing different, because Kevin Hunter cannot beat me. He bullied his way into this match, and apparently his only qualifications are beating that chump (points at Logan) and my MIA “associate.” But the reality is he isn’t at my level. He’s a flawed wrestler that’s getting another shot because Tank has run out of people to throw at me.
Rampage: Rampage aint below no one’s level. You aint even seen my level. Yeah I lost at NIGHTMARE. You beat me. But that aint happening again. Ima evolving force. You remember what happened when Rampage got a second crack at John Logan? You remember what happened when Rampage got a second crack at ya boy Brick? Ya problem is you aint scared enough. Nah, you aint nearly scared enough for me.
Doc: Scared? Kid, you are truly delusional. I’m not scared of anyone- because I’ve beat EVERYONE. Maybe you need your memory refreshed. I haven’t lost in this butthole promotion. No one has beat me. The only thing that scares me is boredom. So “Kevin.” Make your mean faces, call yourself whatever you want to call yourself, and practice looking up at the lights. Because come November 30th- you’re another notch on my belt. MY belt.
Reporter: Where is Brick? What is the current status of your “association”?
Doc: No more questions- this press conference is done. (gets up and walks out)
Craig: Uh looks like that will do it- we’ll see everyone November 30th from the San Jose Arena for BATTLE LINES!
The card for the show:
Reed Brothers vs Los Ninos Perdidos (Blackrose Wrestling)
Jimmy Hawkins vs Lucha La Barba (Wonderland Dojo)
Roy Carter vs Vic “The Technician” Baron
Loser Leaves Warrior Pro/Winner Earns a Title Shot John Logan vs Adrian Lawton
World Heavyweight Title Match Doc Wyatt vs Rampage Hunter

Adrien Lawton: *Adrien Lawton is draped in gold and is wearing sunglasses, sitting next to him are the Starboyz, who also are wearing shades and gold. Across from them is "Fast" Eddie Edison who is conducting an interview*
Edison: Adrien, you refused to show up at the press conference this week. Why?
Lawton: Why should I show up to an inferior promotion, ran by an inferior promoter, with inferior competition?
EE: Yet you've decided to take on John Logan at Battlelines...
AL: I took it for the almight dollar and expand the Lawton brand to other promotions. Do you have a problem with that Eddie? [Eddie remains silent] I thought so. You see John Logan, reminds me of a younger me. In a sense that he's hungry and wants an opportunity. And that's where the comparison ends...
EE: How so?
AL: You fucking interrupt me again and I will bash your skull in!!! [Lawton recomposes himself] You see Logan is hungry, but to me he's the Pumpkin spice of the wrestling world. He's a basic white bitch, with no other talent besides kissing ass and getting lucky. He's lucky his basic skillset has carried himself this far, his ass kissing has gotten him more opportunities than a young brotha' like me. So if you think this match isn't personal...it is. I take umbridge with the fact that people like Logan can waltz in and get shots at bigger fish like me, when he doesn't have a proven track record like me. What titles has he won? What tournaments did he compete in?
EE: .....
AL: You're speechless right Eddie? You were praying and begging this "Great White Hope" didn't turn into a "Great White Joke." Because that's what Warrior Pro wants, they want a white savior to propel them into more lofty domains and they feel Logan can profit off that by sharing a second in the ring with me. That boy has less talent than AJAX and the Belscummy Brothers combined. My big toe could probably beat this kid, so I'll be damned if Warrior PRO expects me to take part in any of their press conferences. They can fuck themselves!!!
EE: And if you lose?
AL: If I lose? If.........I...........LOSE?!! WHOSE FUCKING SIDE ARE YOU ON BITCH?! I ain't losing to this Shamrock Shake basic mother fucker, I refuse to go down as the one who started the rise of this vanilla pop warner mother fucker. [Lawton stares into the camera intently] AL: John Logan, I hope you have your affairs in order, because come Battlelines, I will maim you into becoming a useless man, I will hurt your brand, I will hurt this little promotion, and I will fuck everything you people built up. You made a deal with the devil, when you signed me to a deal. This interview is done.... [\spoiler]

John Logan posted a video on WPW.com in response to Adrien Lawton's recent statments…
Finally. We finally hear from the great Adrien Lawton. This mythical legend that apparently cannot be beat. You’re doing this for your brand? How about you ask your buddy Jay Zero how his brand is doing after being in my ring. How about you ask him how his neck is doing after I dropped him on his head to end our match.
You are right about one thing. I haven’t won shit. I haven’t made the name for myself that you have. But you’re missing the point of this match, Lawton. I’m not some “Great Hope”, and I’m no one’s savior. I’m the guy you didn’t know you couldn’t beat. I’m the Grim Reaper- and next Friday I’m coming to collect. In fact, do yourself a favor- don’t show up to Battle Lines. Keep doing what you’re doing. Stay home. Because if you do, your brand is going to be “Guy John Logan stepped over on his way to history.”

Standing outside the Wonderland Dojo, Lucha La Barba and a short Mexican man begin to address a couple of reporters…
Marco: Hello everyone. My name is Marco Garcia. Senor Lucha La Barba has asked me to help translate a statement for the media today. Senor La Barba has-
La Barba: (whispers to Marco) You’re supposed to be translating so they understand. Use English words…
Marco: (whispers) Lo siento. (back to the media) Mr La Barba… (eyes Lucha, who gives a thumbs up) has recently signed a contract to fight on an upcoming show for Warrior Pro Wrestling out in California. His opponent, Jimmy Hawkins, is very tough- but Mr La Barba believes he will be victorious. Mr. La Barba fights for the people of Mexico, and he hopes that on November 30th that he makes each and every one of you proud. He will now make a statement to his Mexican fans in his native espanol.
La Barba: Gracias my amigo. Por favor. Yo gusto todos of Mexcio. Yo very…excitedido por fighting en Warrior Pro. Los tacos esta my familia. You fantas…excellente. Uh… I viva la discoteca en cervesa! Gracias.
(Both the reporters and Marco look confused. La Barba motions for Marco to ask for questions)
Marco: Uh… are there any questions?
Reporter: I’m a little lost. I was told there was a big story around a famous pro wrestler. Who is this again? And you’re some sort of translator?
Marco: Me? No Senor. I am the Vice President of a local Credit Union. Mr. La Barba is my neighbor. In exchange for this he is watching my cat while mi familia is on vacation.
La Barba: (smiling) Si.
Reporter: Wait are you that wrestler that won that lucha reality show?
La Barba: SI!
Reporter: Oh...uh… ok well, I guess, how do you think your style will fit in Warrior Pro?
La Barba: (whispering to Marco) Tell them I think my style fits…
Reporter: Wait are you just whispering to him in English?
La Barba: Esta interview fini!

Its fight week, and perhaps the most hyped event in the young promotion’s history- BATTLE LINES, is a few short days away. Besides the Warrior Pro debut of talent from Blackrose Wreslting and the infamous Wonderland Dojo, the card features a double main event: A grudge match culminating the months long AAW and Warrior Pro rivalry, and a rematch for the Heavyweight Championship.
The show will be broadcast LIVE on Twitch, kicking off right at 4pm PT. With the ZIP Japan tournament also running this Friday, Warrior Pro will be ensuring a timely show. A full breakdown of the card:
Reed Brothers vs Los Ninos Perdidos (Blackrose Wrestling) This promises to be a high action opener, as both teams are known for their faced paced styles. And with steady rumors of a tag team tournament on the horizon, this could be a sneak peak into a match-up for down the line…
Jimmy Hawkins vs Lucha La Barba (Wonderland Dojo) Hawkins will have a busy night, as he is also participating in the ZIP Japan Super Z-Cup tournament kicking off from…Japan. Rumor has it there will be a private jet on standby once his match here is over. As for his opponent in this match? Not a lot is known of the man who calls himself Lucha La Barba, but if his “press conference” is any indication, we are likely looking at an unorthodox style. A win from either man could be the start to a momentum boost.
Roy Carter vs Vic “The Technician” Baron Roy Carter has been spending the past two months running through Young Guns and trash talking the Baron family. After a narrow victory over his father, Vic Baron has decided to make it his mission to shut up the brash up and comer. Vic’s confidence is understandable. After defeating Machine Gun Mayhem, The Technician as taken SHTCW:a by storm, earning a spot in the Royal Destiny Tournament block semi-finals. Will Vic continue his run of dominance? Or Will Roy Carter continue to be a foil to the Baron family?
Loser Leaves Warrior Pro/Winner Earns a Title Shot John Logan vs Adrian Lawton What started out as a small invasion by a AAW tag team that was bored from not getting bookings has turned into a full scale grudge match from two of the top stars in either promotion. Lawton, already AAW champion, can earn a shot at Warrior Pro’s top prize with a win. For Logan, he either gets another crack at the belt he’s been chasing his whole career, or he picks up a pink slip. Either way, the ramifications are huge.
World Heavyweight Title Match Doc Wyatt vs Rampage Hunter A rematch from last month, Doc Wyatt finds himself in a more precarious situation than the first time these two met. His “associate” Brick has been MIA since deciding he was entitled to his own crack at the belt, and Rampage seems convinced he’s figured out the recipe no one else seems to have discovered- how to pin Doc Wyatt. Despite the unrest, Doc seems as confident as ever that this match will go the route of the first- in his favor.

Today is fight day! Most of us can’t wait to kick off the first night of the ZIP Japan Super Z Cup, and we here a Warrior Pro share that excitement. If you need something to pass the time beforehand, BATTLE LINES is here to serve. We have a championship rematch- the reigning, unbeaten Doc Wyatt vs a wrecking ball of a human “Rampage” Hunter. We had the culmination of a month long war of words between John Logan and Adrien Lawton. We have a grudge match between two fan favorites in Roy Carter and Vic Baron. And we have debuts from Blackrose Wrestling as well as the Wonderland Dojo. Its going to be a hellova show. Main show starts promptly at 4pm PT LIVE on TWITCH, with a pre-show match a bit before to warm up the crowd. A few final promos were posted on WPW.com Roy Carter I’ve had to hear a lot from Vic Baron lately. I’ve had to hear about how well he’s doing up in Canada. I’ve had to hear how impressive his victory over Machine Gun was. I’ve had to hear too fucking much about how every Baron is the greatest thing in the fucking world. But guess what? Vic Baron is not worth all the hype. His “legend” of a dad? I nearly broke his neck. I destroyed his whole class of dipshit pupils. And on Friday? Tonight I get to prove to everyone that Vic Baron isn’t in my league.
You call yourself “The Technician”? What a joke. You can’t hold a candle to the training I’ve had, both in MMA and in this ring. You’re whole world is about to crash down. So bring your old man to ringside. I want anyone you love to watch as I keep breaking the Baron myth, one arm at a time… Doc Wyatt “Kevin” Hunter. I keep hearing about how unstoppable you are. How indestructible you are. How you are destined to hold this title. Destiny even. You’re going to “Rampage all over me.” Guess what- I already beat you. I already proved you aren’t better than me. I already demystified you as a fat former football player that can’t hack it in the ring with a real wrestler. Do yourself a favor and just don’t show up. Because if you do, I’m going to beat you again. And then what? What’s left for you then? This is lose lose for you “Kevin.” Stay home, you’ve already lost. Rampage Hunter This a first for Rampage. Ima six foot five man. Ima bout three bills. Aint nobody ever look at me as no underdog. Aint nobody say “Rampage probably gonna lose.” So when people be coming up to me sayin “Yo Rampage, you gonna smash Doc. You da man, you ain’t losing again” then whispering to themselves, “He aint gonna do it” that shit is crazy. But I gotta tell you somethin. Rampage LOVE the crazy. Shit man, go ahead. Doubt me. Doubt that that skinny little white dude has any chance against me. You think I care that he beat me? You think I’m not changing- adapting every single day? I already aint the same Rampage that lost last month. This Rampage is better. Stronger. Faster. This a whole new ballgame. So come at me Doc Wyatt. Tonight is my turn to put you on your back, and you can watch me celebrate with your title around my waste.

Huge show here, really interested to see how the Logan/Lawton match and the main event go. I got faith in Doc to hold his ground and his title, no matter how strong Rampage has looked as of late. Logan's gonna have some serious trouble with Lawton, though.
Great stuff all up and down the card.

Battle Lines lived up to the hype, with a couple of MOTY candidates, and an extremely controversial ending to the main event. Huge thanks as always to those of you that were able to join. I'll have a full write up complete with recaps and a post show press conference (which should be VERY interesting given a few finishes) up over the weekend.
For those of you not on the live stream... The heavyweight title match was ruled a no contest when the ref was knocked unconscious and was unable to get up

Battle Lines was one of the most entertaining and controversial shows of the promotions existence. A pair of MOTY candidates played out, as well as a highly criticized ending to the Heavyweight Championship match. As usual, all the recaps and post-match angles are detailed below- as well as a very heated post show press conference involving out main event participants. Pre-Show: Castillo vs Loco Dixon/ Luke Casey vs Masshole Tommy O’MalleyRecap: Both Castillo and Casey are rookies looking to snag a main roster spot, and both impressed in singles action to open up the show. Castillo used his strength and size to overpower the smaller Dixon, while Casey showed some advanced technical work to put away the “Masshole” veteran.
Winner: Castillo/Luke Casey Pre-show Rating: *** Reed Brothers vs Los Ninos PerdidosRecap: It was the debut for the luchador hunters from Blackrose Wrestling, and an impressive one at that. Both men forced the action right from the opening bell against the high flying Reed Brothers. After spending the opening minutes on their Heels, both Rip and Maverick used double team moves and ring awareness to isolate each member of Los Ninos. In fact, Maverick seemed poised to deliver a “Crash Landing” when El Hijo Del Dorado sent him to the ropes and rolled him up for the flash pin and the vctory.
Winner: Los Ninos Perdidos Match Rating: *** Jimmy Hawkins vs Lucha La BarbaRecap: Jimmy Hawkins mind must have been on the Super Z Cup. What was being built up as an athletic contradiction in styles ended before it even began. After a brief feeling out period, La Barba caught Hawkins in a backslide for a shocking pin, setting the record for the shortest match ever in the promotion. Seriously, the entrances were longer than the actual match.
Winner: Lucha La Barba Match Rating: ** After the match…The crowd went nuts, chanting “LUCHA…LABARBA…LUCHA…LABARBA” as La Barba was forced to come back onto the entrance ramp for an encore salute. Roy Carter vs Vic “The Technician” BaronRecap: This match has the inside track to MOTY. The fight started off methodical, both men judging distance and feeling each other out. It was also apparent that both men were targeting the arms, trying to wear each other out and set up for a match ending submission. Five minutes in and neither man has an advantage. Roy is working hard to get the match to the ground and use his MMA experience to work over Vics arms and punish him with elbows. Vic countering with suplexes to create distance, but Carter seems to be well versed and ready to defend them. Vic lands a suplex, into a running knee, but Carter desperately dumps Vic outside, and both men seem to pause to catch their breath. As Baron gets back into the ring, the match seems to pick up, as both men exchange suplexes. Vic seems to be getting the better of Roy, following up with a bulldog and then a neck crank, followed by another suplex. Roy counters and attempts a comeback but Vic cuts him off and applies the Killa Crossface. Somehow Roy gets to the ropes for the break, and out of nowhere hits the standing armbar on Vic. Roy doesn’t get the hold fully locked in and Vic is able to break it. Both men look vulnerable now, and the action is rapid, with both sides exchanging moves. Vic gets the Crossface locked in again but it’s too close to the ropes. Roy whips Vic into the corner, but Vic recovers and Screw Slams Roy right out of the ring. Both men down. Roy crawls back into the ring and walks right into Vic who takes him to the corner and hits a top rope DDT- a Baron Family signature. He follows up with a dropkick to the face, and picks him up for another Screw Slam… but it’s countered into a GAME OVER piledriver….for the pin fall.
Winner: Roy Carter Match Rating: ***** After the match….Roy Carter laughs, and makes a check mark signal with his hands- indicating another Baron off the list, before grabbing Baron again and delivering another Game Over piledriver before exiting the ring. Loser Leaves Warrior Pro/Winner Earns a Title ShotJohn Logan vs Adrian LawtonRecap: After so much hype leading into this match, we finally got to see these two put on a fight. No feeling out period, as both men went straight at each other, in a flurry of strikes and slams. Logan especially seemed focused and ready for Lawton’s initial barrage of offense. And a hell of a barrage it was, with slams and submissions designed to break Logans spirit early. But it didn’t work, and as the match wore on, Lawton seemed to get more and more frustrated. In fact, he seemed more interested in fighting the Warrior Pro crowd, who used every opportunity they saw to loudly boo the AAW champion. That distraction cost Lawton, who crotch chopped instead of covering, allowing Logan to hit a front belly to belly slam into a drop kick to the back of the head. Lawton, perhaps sensing that match wasn’t going his way furiously starts a comeback but is cut off as Logan pulls him to the corner and hits a big man senton. Lawton starting to look a little winded and comes at Logan with a flurry of strikes, backing Logan into the corner. But the strikes are a tad sloppy, and Logan counters one right into a LOGANS RUN DDT… for a veeery close near fall. Lawton fighting back with everything now. Delayed brainbuster, sledgehammer off the top, ANOTHER delayed brainbuster… for a two count. Action picking up now, as both men exchange strikes. Lawton looking for the pedigree but Logan counters out of it, but Lawton puts him right back into it and hits it. Follow up german from the mat…. For a cloooooose near fall. Lawton trying to set him up but Logan counters with a snap suplex. Big Man Senton, into a running closeline…. FOR THE PIN!
Winner: John Logan Rating: **** After the match…Logan walks around the ring pointing at the fans and celebrates. Lawton, sits up and looks at Logan who comes over and offers a hand to help him up. Lawton smacks the hand out of the way, and rolls out of the ring. He grabs a mic and shouts “Fuck this shitty promotion, I QUIT WARRIOR PRO” spikes the mic and walks out. “Lanky” Lefty McDaniel makes an unexpected appearance and walks to the ring…Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Title MatchDoc Wyatt vs Rampage HunterRecap: This match looked like it might be something special. Both men picked up where their first match left off, with Doc using his quickness to out-pace the big man, and Rampage making Doc pay anytime he got within range. This was going to be a classic. Then, Doc managed to counter a whip and send Rampage right into head referee Dean Walters. Both men kept fighting- not realizing the ref was down. Once he did, Doc proceeded to grab a chair, and take repeated shots at the ref. Though both men would perform finishers on one another, the real damage was done. The ref was not getting up, and eventually officials from the back called down for the match to be stopped and ruled a no contest.
Winner: NO CONTEST Rating: * After the show, a post fight press conference was held with Rampage and Doc, with poor Head of PR, Roger Craig caught in the middle… (Before Craig can even start the press conference, Rampage goes off)
Rampage: This is some fucking bullshit. Everyone saw what you did to that ref man. Fucking bullshit.
Doc: Oh shut up crybaby. The only reason you didn’t lose was because that ref wasn’t conscious enough to count my victory. The only thing everyone saw was me beat your ass…again
Rampage: Take that back motherfucker. Rampage aint playin. This aint how this ends. I want my match.
Doc: Another match?? Why?? So the ref got knocked out, the end result was what matters, the belt is still around my waist.
Craig: Guys!! Calm down. I have word that Tank will have an official statement on what will happen next in the coming days.
Rampage: Ain’t gonna take a couple days. He got one option. Give Rampage his rightful championship match. Anything else and its his ass I’m gonna beat.
(Rampage tosses the table over towards the reporters and storms off, effectively ending the press conference).
