SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. JULY 4TH SUPERCARD FINALIZED, TIME ANNOUNCED:
via dirtsheetdaily.com
Ahead of tonight's special SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. Supercard, the mystery opponents for three matches have been revealed, along with the bell-time for the hotly-anticipated show in which Mayday Malone defends her SHTCWA World Championship against CeO in the main event. Firstly, in the opener tonight, SHTCWA is bringing in Melino Tupou from The Senatorial Office to take on the debuting Aubrie Liberty. The mystery lucha in the lucha showcase tag match has also been announced: Toronto's own Blue Jay. The Beat-Alls over the past few weeks have also been trash-talking anyone and everyone in the world of tag team wrestling, and Warrior Pro held a match this past week between The Grim Reapers and The Reed Brothers to determine who will take on The Beat-Alls. The Grim Reapers came out on top, and now, tonight, they'll make their way up North to face off against The Beat-Alls.
Doors open at 5:30, with meet and greets and Q&As for VIP fans happening. GA doors will open at 6:00. The simulcast here will start at roughly 6:45, with the bell-time set for roughly 7:00, and matches starting shortly after.
TL;DR: Stream starts at roughly 6:45 Eastern time, pre-amble for a bit, then matches start at about 7:00. Go here for the show.

JULY 4TH PATRIOT MATCH: Debuting Aubrie Liberty Falls to Office's Melino Tupou in a Solid Opener
Aubrie Liberty was, unsurprisingly, not over whatsoever in Toronto, whilst the crowd immediately got behind The Senatorial Office's "Tongan Death Princess", Melino Tupo. This was a fun, solid opener, as Aubrie got a chance to show off her amateur skills with a number of innovative, strong takedowns, whilst Melino proved just how strong she is, fending off Aubrie time and time again as she tried to transition into kneebars and ankle locks, only to be thwarted. Aubrie did eventually lock in the kneebar, twice, but Melino simply wouldn't give in, and eventually just made Liberty pass out to the deadly Tongan Death Grip.
This was a really fun match, and hopefully means the beginning of more collaborations between SHTCWA and other promotions; if anything the rest of the card hopefully proves as such. Also, Melino looked very strong, and was over as hell, so hopefully this isn't the last time she gets a chance to appear in SHTCWA.
Ai Amaya Flies High Vs. Laguna Le Mans
This match was a fun, fast-paced affair with the two youngsters out to prove something: that they could go, so to speak. And go they did. From only the opening moments, Laguna was aiming for Ai's head with wild attempts at her roundhouse kick, and Ai kept ducking and ducking and showing off her own skills. The two traded momentum back and forth, showing off their agility and technical skills by both fighting out of submisson attempts and flipping into hard-hitting dropkicks, mirroring each other's moves; then hitting huge 'ranas and pin attempts for close-falls.
The highlight of the match probably came when Laguna went for another patented roundhouse kick only for Ai to somehow dodge it and hit one of her own, with then lead to a sequence of Shooting Star Presses to finally get the win. This was a really solid, fun match, and continued to get the crowd hyped up after the solid opener.
Excellent Blondes, Tierney, Ramsay Come Out On Top in a Chaotic Match
This match, many pegged as a means to get a bunch of names on the card, and, honestly, the match felt like it: there wasn't really much psychology in it so much as it was just absolutebedlam from the off.
Early on, RIPLEY absolutely went mad, hitting a sequence of BRUTAL suplexes to Regan O'Reilly, then stomps, and followed up with their Tiger Driver '91, nearly putting away The Atomic Blonde, Reilly if it weren't for her tag partners.
The match then sort of found its rhythm with the heels trying to slow the match down and Excellent and O'Reilly mostly going for limbwork, and Tierney often doing the same, whilst the faces kept rotating quickly, then getting RIPLEY in to absolutely clean house. RIPLEY was being billed as sort of the match-killer for their team, and it worked. Eventually, though, they simply lost contol and things just spilled to the outside, with RIPLEY barely saving their team, getting in at 19, whilst Rhiannon Ramsay hit the Orienteering with Napalm Death on literally anyone that moved.
The ending sequence came when O'Reilly hit a very cool sequence against Sabine Starkiller, nailing a Codebreaker into a running knee to the face, and pinning Starkiller in the heels' corner with a elbow drop held onto her chest. The heels win and get undoubtedly maintain some heat, but it was kind of a big clusterfuck of a match. It wasn't downright bad, but it wasn't amazing.
Warrior Pro's Grim Reapers Answer the Challenge; Beat Beat-Alls in a War
The match rating does not do this match the credit it deserves: this was a solid, fun, hard-hitting match that never dragged from the opening bell.
Literally, the second move of the match saw the Grim Reapers hit a MASSIVE Shatter Machine on George Eggman, with Billie Cannon hoisting the big man up and Tyson Heyward driving his knee into Eggman's face. Eggman shook himself off and got Heyward into the Beat-Alls' corner and from there, The Beat-Alls answered RIGHT back with their own signature tag move: a huge chokeslam from Eggman into a backstabber from John Pepper.
And from that point on we knew we were in for a great match. The Beat-Alls tried to do what they always do in tag matches: control the pace, and have Pepper work the majority of the match, wearing down opponents with limbwork, whilst Eggman occasionally comes in to dish out punishment. But the Grim Reapers had other ideas, just wanting all out war, and eventually it devolved into the Grim Reapers just pummeling their opponents until the end sequence where Billie Cannon smartly isolated John Pepper, allowing Tyson Heyward to absolutely CLOBBER George Eggman and then hoist him up for an impressive Deadlift German Suplex, in which he bridged, and the ref counted for three. This was a fantastic match, and hopefully not the last we see of these teams facing off against one another.
Lucha Showcase Match Does Its Job; That's About It
The lucha showcase matches that SHTCWA has are, undoubtedly, good, in theory: solid ways to either get the crowds hype to open shows, or a good way to break up action in the middle of shows and inject some energy and fun into a card to keep it from getting stale.
Tonight, though, in Blue Jay's debut match, unfortunately, something just felt decidedly off. And unfortunately, the more and more one considers it, it may be Machismo and Machisma. Ever since SHTCWA returned, they've been featuring relatively prominently, and though their gimmicks are ridiculous and fun, they just can't seem to produce amazing matches. It may also simply be that the cards might be better served featuring singles lucha matches rather than tag matches. Or maybe everyone is just in a bit of a funk.
Regardless, this was an alright match, but really not much to write home about, and worst of all, the debuting Blue Jay really didn't get much of a chance to shine, barely being in the ring at all. It may be that Blue Jay is still relatively green, so they didn't want to expose his weaknesses, but he really didn't do too much in this inoffensive, if a bit of a boring match.
Rent-A-Tigress Spoils Tigertron 3000's Debut; Crits the Cybernetic Tiger in a Fun, Fast-Paced Match
This was a very fun match that knew not to overstay its welcome, and it showcased both competitors perfectly. Rent-a-Tigress was ever the underdog tecnico, whilst Tigertron was the dastardly, cheating, junk-kicking rudo. The match moved at a brisk pace, and Tigress got to show off her high-flying skills whilst Tigertron nearly stole it with a Skull-Crushing Finale, and got to even show some heart of his own by kicking out of a huge Tiger Driver Facebuster. He eventually succumbed, though, to a Oedo Coaster that caused a surprise CRITICAL! and Rent-a-Tigress stood tall in a fun match.
Donnelly Returns to Action, Decimates Throwback
After demanding that Fyfe Donnelly's suspension be lifted so he could face him at tonight's supercard show, one would have expected Johnny Throwback to come out full of proverbial fire, and absolutely obliterate Fyfe Donnelly. Or possibly lock in a "shoot" submission hold of his own much like it seemed Donnely did to Throwback a few weeks ago. But that wasn't the story of this match: instead, in the early goings, both men were content to work a deliberate, slow pace and try to slowly wear down the other and prove they were the better submission wrestler. And it was interesting, and intriguing to watch the two of them try to jostle one another for dominance and work out in real-time their approaches to the match.
They then started trading heavy strikes and the match stepped into another gear, as it often seems to do with a Johnny Throwback match, when Throwback started to dump Donnelly on his head with suplexes and backdrops. Donnelly answered in kind by starting to lock in modified versions of the Orienteering with Napalm Death, tying up Throwback into a pretzel. But Throwback came back with the Ground Octopus Hold, the move that beat Marcel Müller last week. Donnelly then PLANTED Throwback with the Deep Impact, the top-rope DDT, but Throwback miraculously kicked out.
Donnelly then hit a second one from the top rope and tangled Throwback into a La Magistral right in the middle of the ring, and got the three count over his rival. He then hit a HUGE Dodonce's Throne after the match, planting Throwback again, and as Throwback was helped out of the ring, Donnelly was making a gesture of a belt around his waist, seemingly signalling that regardless of the outcome of tonight's main event, he wants a shot at that championship. How that plays out given his recent suspension, we'll have to see.
LaCroix and Morgan Tear the House Down Again in a Bloody War
In the lead-up to this rematch between "The Hot Topic" Luna LaCroix and the "Queen of Amarillo" Tara Morgan, things were ratcheted up a notch when the No-DQ, Weapons match was made a Barbed Wire match, as well. Sledgehammers and barbed wire baseball bats and kendo sticks littered the ring as the bell rung, and the two wasted NO time at all getting right into it. One would expect a bit of trepidation, but not from LaCroix and Morgan. They just started beating the absolute hell out of each other and going for weapon shots nearly immediately.
I'd say the match devolved, quickly, into a brawl, but it started out that way, with brutal suplexes and piledrivers onto bats, and sledgehammer shots; Brainbuster Lariats and suplexes onto sledgehammers and bats and finally Irish Whips into the barbed wire, which garnered many a "HOLY SHIT!" chants from the crowd.
Morgan seemed to have it won when she not only hit a Stump Piledriver into a Mounting Piledriver, but then NAILED LaCroix with a Tights-Pulling Piledriver onto a barbed wire bat, tearing LaCroix's flesh wide open. But somehow, LaCroix kicked out, then plastered Morgan with a Brainbuster Lariat right onto that same bat.
The two kept trading punches and big moves and even got into a huge Spirit Punch exchange before LaCroix finally put Morgan down for a second time with a massive, mean Crucifix Powerbomb to end the bloody, near 20-minute war.
Ella-Mae Solidifies #1 Spot in a Fantastic Match
Much like the match before it, "Motherwell's Own" Gemma Galloway and "The Lone Star Ace" Ella-Mae Carter held nothing back, and started trading hard, heavy shots immediately; Galloway with her European Uppercuts and strong elbows, and Carter with her well-placed, straight-up brawling-inspired punches. The two just beat the hell out of each other for roughly a good ten minutes before Carter started to gain control, and wear Galloway down with dragon screws in an attempt to setup her Texas Cloverleaf hold. But credit where credit is due: Gemma Galloway fought out of it multiple times, and when that wouldn't get it done, she kicked out of two MASSIVE powerbombs.
Galloway then looked to have things won as she set up for a huge Senton Atomico, then followed up with a run-up Senton Atomico, but she couldn't capitalize, and Carter came right back with a Senton Atomico of her own and took the win, solidifying her spot as the #1 contender for Mayday Malone's PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. World Championship.
Malone Still the Valiant Double Champ in a Fantastic Cage Match
Just like the Morgan/LaCroix match before it, things were spiced up in this maine event, with weapons getting thrown into the cage; a chair, a barbed wire bat, and a set of spikes. And the weapons were featured early on when Malone was PLANTED onto a chair and CeO then swung wildly at the champ.
In the early goings, it was all Malone, striking fast, often, and hard, and CeO weathered the storm until the tides shifted and a combination of underhanded tactics and weapons saw CeO in control. But CeO was most definitely showboating, not going for pins or his patented sleeper hold that had won him so many matches leading up to tonight. Mayday kept fighting, though, nailing CeO with multiple Switchblades only for Oswald to surprisingly show some fortitude and kick out!
The cage came into play, with Malone throwing CeO into it after she withstood bat shots, and nearly got off a bat shot of her own, then spike shots, and whipped CeO into the cage again before CeO came back with a shocking sleeper hold out of nowhere only for Malone to fight out.
Then...
SKULL-CRUSHING FINALE! SLEEPER HOLD! NO! SHE FIGHTS OUT!
HE STEALS THE CORKSCREW NECKBREAKER DROP! SHE KICKS OUT!
They fight up top and Mayday hits another Slingblade!
She's really taking it to him now. ANOTHER SLEEPER! NO! SHE ESCAPES, SOMEHOW! CALLING FOR THE ROUND THE BASES SUBMISSION HOLD! She's done it! CeO taps out and just shy of a half-hour, Mayday Malone has survived the cage match and survived CeO.
And stilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll your SHTCWA World Champion, and your DOUBLE Champion: Mayday Malone!
SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. FALLOUT SHOW DELAYED A WEEK DUE TO TECHNICAL HICCUPS via dirtsheetdaily.com
It was rumoured heavily and now it has been announced, that due to a scheduling conflict, tomorrow night's PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. show will go ahead as scheduled, but unfortunately will be unable to be streamed live, and will be shown on a week delay. Subsequently, SHTCWA has also pushed its show a week, mostly to give its roster a week off to unwind and recover from naggling injuries. PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. will be back on July 18th.
OOC: Basically, I've got a lot of shit to do tomorrow between life things, wanting to possibly stream another game during the day, an interview in the afternoon, then prepping for another interview on Tuesday, along with just getting mentally prepared for the rest of this busy week. And I've also just been not exactly burnt-out on Fire Pro and streaming it on Mondays, but pre-occupied by other things both life-wise and streaming-wise, and I'd rather simply take a week off rather than push myself and get closer to burn-out (trying to be kind to myself int his regard), and put together a good, thought-out show rather than string it together last-minute. So, TL;DR: Not exactly feeling putting together a rushed card tomorrow, maybe wanna stream something else, have a lot to do tomorrow, so gonna put it off a week. <3
After some hiccups along the way, PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. is gearing up to showcase its talent once again as EPISODE TWO will air on the SHTCWA Streaming Network tonight at roughly 7:00 Eastern time.
The card is looking like it could shape up really well. Let's break down all the matches.
LUCHA SHOWCASE MATCH: Machisma vs. Unicorn Ultra: Some lucha talent is making its way to Japan, and it's been rumoured that Machisma may find herself in a somewhat extended stay in PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. to see if it might be best to break her and Machismo up as a tag team. This should be a fun way to start off the night and get the crowd going. Odette Okoye vs. PASSION Kamiya: This ought to be a good one between two newcomers simply looking to make their names. PASSION has a lot of technical skill and Odette showed a lot of heart against Ai Amaya, so this ought to be good. GoGo Tanaka vs. Kasumi Kuramoto: GoGo is trying to get back on top after she floundered out of the World Championship tournament and then subsequently got left off of the SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. supercard. Meanwhile, Kuramoto has a lot to prove, too, losing out to KANAKO in a squash match her last time out. Skye Jameson vs. Ai Amaya: This should be a fast-paced, fun match between two relative newcomers to puro. Ai has shown a mean streak in her, so don't be surprised if she possibly takes it to The Cutest of All Time, Skye Jameson. Beth Excellent & Kemper Tierney w/ Regan O'Reilly vs. Sabine Starkiller & May Yamada w/ Yumi Yamada: The Excellent Blondes upset a stacked team at SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. and are flying high, whilst the daughter-mother team of May Yamada and Yumi Yamada have not been able to find themselves on the same page. Sabine Starkiller is also looking to avenge her loss from that tag match, so we've got a big ol' tag match to mix up a few feuds. KANAKO vs. Laguna Le Mans: Simply put, KANAKO came back in a big way last time out, whilst Laguna Le Mans practically stole the show vs. Ai Amaya. This is going to be a really, really interesting clash of styles in this match. Rhiannon Ramsay vs. RIPLEY: Two other competitors in the tag match face off against one another; Ramsay is a technical wizard, whilst RIPLEY is no slouch in her technical skills herself; but she can also absolutely wallop someone with vicious strikes. Sachiko Sonoda vs. Megumi Ono: Sachiko Sonoda is known to be a hard-hitter; a force, and Megumi Ono surprised A LOT of people against RIPLEY. This ought to be VERY hard-hitting. Mayday Malone & Melino Tupou (THE SENATORIAL OFFICE) vs. Ella-Mae Carter & Aubrie Liberty: We close off the night with a tag match between the PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. champion and the #1 Contender Ella-Mae Carter, as well as a rematch of sorts between Aubrie Liberty and The Senatorial Office's Melino Tupou. Ella-Mae could build A LOT of momentum here tonight with a win, but Mayday is coming off a massive win against CeO to retain her claim as double champ. Meanwhile, Melino could once agan choke out Aubrie Liberty. And if somehow either Melino or Aubrie make Mayday or Ella-Mae Carter tap out or pin them, what does that mean for the title picture?
PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. QUICK RESULTS, SHTCWA EP. IV CARD TAKES SHAPE; BOLSTERS TAG DIVISION
via dirtsheetdaily.com
PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. put on a solid show, overall, last week, building well towards upcoming shows. It also made some talent exchanges with SHTCWA.
Unicorn Ultra Defeats Machisma via Overhead Kick at 16:12. 87%: Solid, fast-paced match. Unicorn Ultra surprisingly dominated, whilst Machisma got to show off her power. We might see Machisma stick around PURORESU H.E.A.R.T., or possibly just break away from Machismo.
PASSION Kamiya defeats Odette Okoye via Fairing Ring Roll-Up at 16:44. 78%: This match was better than a rating makes it seem, really. These two had a solid, competitive match, and Odette seems to be learning more and more from her partner CJ Fresh every day. She has a lot of upside. PASSION's technical skills were really on display in this match, too. Kasumi Kuramoto Defeats GoGo Tanaka at 17:52 via Dragon Suplex. 94%: Honestly, this was a REALLY good match. These two are both trying to turn things around after losses recently and GoGo has been one of the best Joshis around for a few years now before she took a short hiatus due to injuries. Kasumi did really well to basically mirror GoGo in her attempts for legwork and eventually took down GoGo with a bridging Dragon Suplex right in the middle of the ring for the pin. This was arguably MOTN. GoGo, after words, seemed visibly upset, though, and was obviously not happy. After the match, she attacked the ref, and reportedly trashed the backstage area. Ai Amaya Defeats Skye Jameson in 9:47 Via Shooting Star Press. 83%: This was an absolute rush from these two young women. Sub-10 minutes, but it was competitive. Skye couldn't get herself on a second gear unfortunately, whilst Ai just had her number the entire match, and took the Gaijin down for the 3-count. Sabine Starkiller and May Yamada w/ Yumi Yamada Defeat Beth Excellent and Kemper Tierney w/ Regan O'Reilly via High Bridge Tiger Suplex. 88%: May Yamada was looking to get back some momentum after she's had a slow start in PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. and it came at the expense of Kemper Tierney and Beth Excellent. But, honestly, everyone looked solid in this match, and it did well to highlight everyone's talents. May and Kemper, especially, looked fantastic and Beth got to really show off her submission skills. Credit also has to go to Sabine, who, somehow, survived an all-out ASSAULT on her arms, and she seemed to actively pull an arm out of her socket. Her left arm was dead and limp towards the end of the match, but she seems like she'll be okay and be back in action next week if called upon. KANAKO Continues Winning Ways Against Laguna Le Mans via Punching Lariat at 9:28. 83%: It seems KANAKO is back to her winning ways. Laguna started this match well, and was using her speed and agility really well, but at some point, she seemed to just actively piss KANAKO off, and KANAKO started hitting her big signature spots of lariats upon lariats. Credit to Laguna, she showed some incredible fighting spirit, but eventually, the veteran KANAKO put away the rookie, Laguna, definitively with a vicious Punching Lariat.
RIPLEY Defeats "The Wrestling Witch" Rhiannon Ramsay Via Top-Rope Stomp into a Standing Moonsault at 20:58. 93%: If Kasumi vs. GoGo wasn't the best match of the night, this might give it a run for its money. The two other competitors in the multi-woman tag match from the other week competed and put on a fantastic match, with both giving and taking and showing off their skills. Rhiannon was a technical wizard, carefully picking RIPLEY apart in attempts to lock in the Orienteering with Napalm Death, whilst RIPLEY fought back with hard strikes and technical wizardry of her own until she went into overdrive and took down Rhiannon. Fantastic match.
Megumi Ono Defeats Sachiko Sonoda Via Count-Out at 17:38. 79%: Some people might question the ending to this match and rate it lower because of the count-out victory for Megumi Ono, but honestly, this match worked beautifully to effectively turn Megumi heel. She seemed to be already leaning that way with her vicious moveset and general demeanor, but this confirmed it 100%. This match was hard-hitting and evenly fought until the action spilled to the outside, and Megumi smartly employed a submission hold that left Sachiko reeling. She then quickly slipped back in the ring RIGHT before the 20 count as Sachiko writhed on the ground, unable to recover fast enough to get back into the ring. Megumi was declared the winner and attacked Sachiko after the match, seeming to really definitively turn her heel.
Mayday Malone and Melino Tupou Defeat Ella-Mae Carter and Aubrie Liberty via Swing for the Fence at 39:53. 94%: This tag match went nearly 40 minutes, but, honestly, the match flew by. All of the competitors looked fantastic. Before the match took place, it was revealed that if either Melino or Aubrie were able to submit or pin either Mayday or Ella-Mae they would immediately become #1 Contender's after Mayday and Ella-Mae's title match in a few weeks. And whilst neither were involved in the finish, they both put on fantastic showings, and it's been confirmed that they'll fight for the #1 Contender's spot. Meanwhile, Mayday definitively put down Ella-Mae Carter and one has to think she has all the momentum in the world now going into their tag match.
SHTCWA EPISODE IV CARD:

You can catch the show LIVE HERE at 7:00 PM Eastern on Monday, July 25th.
Blue Jay Defeats Mtn Dewchador at 14:32 via Running Foot Stomp into a Standing Moonsault. 86%: This was a really fun match, and a much better use of Blue Jay rather than having him debut in a tag match. Blue Jay got to showcase a lot of his talents in his debut singles match, and Mtn Dewchador played a good foil to him. Both started off the match with some solid counters and agility until it devolved stiff kicks from Blue Jay and shenanigans from the Mtn Dewchador. A highlight of the match came when the Mtn Dewchador nailed Blue Jay with the CODE RED MTN DEW MIST, sporting his Code Red attire, and spitting Mtn Dew right into Blue Jay's face. He followed up with a running Code Red but only got the two-count. Blue Jay then went into overdrive with stomps after stomps after stomps and kicks, and finished off the match with a beautiful sequence of a diving stomp to a running stomp to a standing moonsault.
Rutger Baas Defeats Beef McHugeBulk via Powerbomb to Two-Step Kick at 18:17. 90%: You had to expect that this was going to be a glorified squash, to be honest, considering Baas's last match. But Beef McHugeBulk took Milkshake Jones to the limit recently and beat him. But this was anything but. Beef put up a SURPRISING fight against Baas, who just chopped the ever-living shit out of the Buffest Dude in all of Wrestling. Baas kept going for spears, but he was absolutely gassed. A pivotal spot in the match was when Baas lifted Beef up into the air and then let him drop only to ABSOLUTELY OBLITERATE BEEF WITH A MID-AIR SPEAR. That should have claimed the match for the Dutch grappler, but Baas went for another follow-up spear and ended up gassing himself. Beef then came back with a VERY CLOSE 2.9 off of a Brainbuster Lariat and had more close calls with a flurry of hip attacks. Baas had to finally concede that he couldn't get the match won with a spear and relied on a Powerbomb into a huge Two-Step Kick to get the win. Surprisingly, he shook the hand of Beef after the match before returning to the back.
Patches the Unemployed Clown Earned Himself a Contract, Beating Buddy Morgan via the Muscle Bomb Press at 15:39. 88%: These two put on a fun match with plenty of shtick. Buddy dominated a lot of the match until Patches embraced his dark side and started to utilize underhanded tactics, and plastering "The Smooth Operator" with a fork. The end came when Patches hit a flurry of attacks and a running Kokeshi Headbutt to a grounded Morgan and finished it off with the Muscle Bomb Press, earning himself an opportunity to more regularly compete in SHTCWA.
Alouette and Flash the Mighty Defeat Orchid and El Swampo via Destinowl (Destino) at 27:38. 84%: This match wasn't amazing, but it was solid enough. All of the luchas were quick to tag in and tag out and get in their moves. El Swampo kept actively avoiding essentially every attack they could, whilst, strangely, Orchid and Flash the Mighty seemed to hold some kind of strange grudge against one another, constantly attacking one another even when they weren't the legal competitors. The ending came when Alouette hit a Destino seemingly out of nowhere on El Swampo and picked up the win.
The Young Lions of Leeds and The Scott Brothers Return to SHTCWA, Put on a MOTN Contender. 29:55, 89%: It's been a long while since the Young Lions of Leeds, Desmond Lee, and Rory Warwick, and the Scott Brothers, Corum and Caleb had been in SHTCWA. But SHTCWA is making an effort to bolster its tag ranks and bringing back these teams was a great idea, because they put on a CLASSIC.
In the early-goings of the match, it was your standard fare, with the Lions utilizing their superior technical skills and submission skills, constantly catching both Scott Brothers in counter armbars; especially Corum. But the Scott Brothers mounted a comeback and turned the tide of the match only for to have an extended period of the match where he was isolated and picked apart. Somehow, miraculously, he gutted out multiple submission attempts and much like Sabine Starkiller last week, one of Corum's arms seemed to go limp and dead. Caleb had to grit it out for his team, with Corum even signalling to Caleb at one point that "NO!" he simply couldn't tag back in.
Caleb mounted a comeback and PLANTED Rory for a very close 2.9 on a bomb, but Rory mounted a comeback, and just before the half-hour mark, Rory Warwick planted Caleb with a Pedigree and climbed to the top rope to hit an absolutely picture-perfect Twisting Moonsault to pick up the three-count and the win. Both teams got a standing ovation for their efforts and this definitely won't be the last time we see these two teams face off.
Shou Saito Makes His Return, Defeats Diarmaid Farraday via Tower Hacker Bomb at 21:07. 77%: This match was much better than the rating suggests. It was A LOT of fun and Diarmaid Farraday put in a great, valiant effort against a game veteran in Shou Saito. Shou absolutely rocked Farraday with stiff strikes, whilst Farraday utilized his technical skills and had he hit any of his multiple cutter attempts it may have been over. He hit an AMAZING Dust Cutter put seemingly got in his own head and didn't go for a pin after planning Saito. That was his undoing, unfortunately, as Saito hit the Tower Hacker Bomb and Farraday couldn't kick out.
Valentine Williams Goes Old School; Defeats Beau Jangles at 14:44 via Appeal Diving Elbowdrop. 81%: The "SEXIEST OF ALL-TIME", BROTHER, still has things to prove, apparently. After all, he did beat Milkshake Jones a few weeks ago, and tonight, taking on the "Country-Fried Gentleman" Beau Jangles, he kind of dominated at some point. The match started out relatively evenly but eventually Williams just started unloading on Jangles with huge lariats until he went up top and hit Jangles with "THE MOST DANGEROUS ELBOW DROP KNOWN TO MAN; BECAUSE OF THESE 24-INCH PYTHONS!" and got the surprise win. But then again: he's been using that elbow drop for YEARS to great effect.
TEAM TABARNAK (Jean-Jacques Lavoie & Jean-Francois Thibault) Defeat Darrik Davies and Darien Diamond Via Count-Out at 29:37. 88%: The debuting team of the behemoth, Jean-Jacques Lavoie and the smaller, tattooed, ginger-haired Jean-Francois Thibault took on the heel team of "The Worst of All-Time" Darrik Davies and "The Diamond in the Rough" Darrien Diamond and for much of the match, TEAM TABARNAK took it to Davies and Diamond. Thibault carried a lot of the match with vicious knee-strikes and Lavoie came in every so often to just throw his massive weight around. But credit where credit's due: Davies was his dastardly, dick-kicking self, and Diamond had a few close falls with some wicked Diamond Cutters.
The end of the match came in an absolute clusterfuck that showed that TEAM TABARNAK might be smarter than one thinks. Everyone was out on the floor and brawling with vicious strikes and wildly-swinging sledgehammers and Lavoie, the legal man, slid back into the ring to contend with Darien Diamond. Meanwhile, Davies seemed to simply be enraged, focusing his attention on Thibault. Thibault caught Davies with a HUGE V-Trigger knee and Davies crumpled to the floor just as the 20-count hit, sealing the win for the debuting TEAM TABARNAK.
Kingsley Carson Upseats Denji Sonoda in a Shocker via Cutter into a Elbow Drop Hold. 15:38, 89%: Undoubtedly, looking at these two on paper, you'd think relative upstart and self-proclaimed royalty, Kingsley Carson would be in deep against former world champ Denji Sonoda. Denji's knee-strikes are VICIOUS. And he hit Carson with a plethora of vicious strikes. But Carson kept up with Sonoda blow for blow. He looked to make a rookie mistake when he hit TWO Cutters in a row but didn't pin Sonoda, setting up for Sonoda's comeback. But then, a THIRD Cutter planted Sonoda for the shocking three-count and the win. After the match, Carson then hit Sonoda with THREE MORE Cutters; the camera cutting away just as the sound of Sonoda being planted on the canvas with the third and final Cutter that put him down for good after the bell.
Mayday Malone Defeats Milkshake Jones Via Swing for the Fences Elbow at 20:51; Ella-Mae Carter Invades Post-Match. 96%: Milkshake Jones was in tough against the double champion, Mayday Malone, and he's been on quite the skid lately. But credit to him: he came out swinging against Mayday, and for a solid 15 minutes or so these two were just trading stiff punches and elbows and Milkshake nearly had the match won with a vicious spinning backfist elbow, but once again, the story was the same as he went for a Worm instead of a pin. Mayday then mounted her comeback, hitting Slingblades, hitting her Rapid Twisting Neckbreaker for a close-count, and then a HUGE Swing for the Fences Elbow that probably would have won the match had it not been in the ropes.
Malone kept on the offensive, though, and planted Jones with another Swing for the Fences and took the match. As Mayday was celebrating, Ella-Mae Carter made a SHOCKING appearance in Toronto and Mayday had to fend off both Milkshake and Ella-Mae before Carter slipped away backstage after Milkshake caught Malone flush with another spinning backfist elbow.

SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. SUPERSHOW II TONIGHT, AUGUST 1ST AT 7:00 PM EASTERN. You can watch the show here. SHTCWA (read: me, Will) has also partnered with TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS, a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. You can donate directly to the cause here.
Basically, TL;DR: Last year, I did a 24-hour charity stream for TWLOHA and raised an incredible $1,200 in a day. We're doing that 24-hour charity stream again on August 20th; we'll also be raising money throughout ALL of August this year, though, and the campaign officially starts today. We've already raised over $350 on our first official day of the campaign and I'd love, obviously, to keep raising more. Again: You can donate throughout the month and I'll be campaigning for it all month.
The bell-time for tonight's show is roughly 7:00 PM Eastern (that's roughly when matches will start after some pre-amble) with doors opening at 6:00 for VIP meet-and-greets and general admission. Fans will be asked to be at their seats for roughly 6:45/6:50 (this is roughly when I'll actually start the stream).

FLASH THE MIGHTY FLIPS A LOT; TAKES DOWN ORCHID at 14:43 via Phoenix Splash B. 83%:
This was a solid, fun way to open the night, with these two luchadoras continuing the bad blood they displayed last week in their tag match. It was a face-paced affair with Flash controlling the majority of the match and Orchid simply not really able to get out of the blocks. Flash kept going to the top and hitting spectacular high-flying moves, culminating it all with a Phoenix Splash for the win.
TACHYON CAPITALIZES ON TIGERTRON 3000'S MISTAKE at 16:55 via Stardust Press. 81%:
Another lucha match to keep the crowd hot, and Tigertron tried multiple times to slow down the pace via rest holds and targeted attacks at Tachyon's groin; which he's known for. Credit to Tachyon, though. He shot back with some rest holds to prove he could do it just as well as Tigetron then stepped it up into another gear with speed and agility that Tigertron simply doesn't have. Tachyon kept nailing some really impressive dropkicks with absolutely mesmerizing height and fluidity. The end of the match came on a great spot, as Tigertron went for a run-up attack but slipped and collapsed ontot he ground. Tahcyon hopped up to the top rope and nailed the Cybernetic Tiger with a Stardust Press and stole the win.
RHIANNON RAMSAY PROVES THE SUPERIOR SUBMISSION EXPERT VS. JOHNNY THROWBACK; 17:45 via Orienteering With Napalm Death. 92%:
Within maybe a minute of the bell, these two were trading BOMBS of European Uppercuts and elbows, and would simply not back off of one another. The two then traded headlock after headlock after complicated submission and smoothly transitioned into a pace of Johnny dumping Rhiannon on her head and Rhiannon coming back with submission after submission. These two put on a clinic that perfectly exemplifies SHTCWA's style: hard-hitting, fast action combined with an emphasis on technical ability.
And credit to Rhiannon: she withstood everything from Johnny and then locked in an Orienteering With Napalm Death that Johnny simply couldn't get out of, having to tap to the Wrestling Witch. As Rhiannon released the hold, Johnny was writhing around, holding his knee, so who knows what his health is like after this match. Luckily for him, next week SHTCWA have a break, as PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. is scheduled to run a show next Monday. Hopefully he'll only need the week off.
RUTGER BAAS AND KANAKO TEE OFF IN A HOSS FIGHT; BAAS TAKES IT VIA SPEAR AT 10:13. 84%:
This one was a fun one; an absolute SPRINT in this crossover match between these two absolute hosses. Much like the match before it, these two just came out swinging from the off, and with both of them striving to get matches over and done as quickly as possible, it's no surprise this went nearly sub-10 minutes. The two just clubbed and chopped each other over and over and over. KANAKO got a few close calls with her signature repeating Lariat into a Punching Lariat spot twice over, and there was a TERRIFYING moment when Baas speared KANAKO out of mid-air with his lift-up spear, then followed it up with another spear; as is his signature spot. The two spilled to the outside in a horrendous bump, but both seemed to be okay. Shortly after, Baas put away the Killer of Kyoto with another HUGE spear for the three-count.
YOUNG LIONS OF LEEDS TOPPLE SCOTT BROS. AGAIN AT 22:06 VIA ORIGINAL TRIANGLE LANCER. 88%:
These two put on a fantastic match last week and though tonight wasn't as good as last week, it was still really solid. And once again, Caleb Scott had to do the heavy lifting when his brother got into a hard spot after getting absolutely PLANTED multiple times by Pedigrees; both high-angle and regular ones. Caleb looks like he might be a breakout star and really shone in this match, whilst the Lions looked crafty and vicious, picking apart both brothers; again, especially Corum. Smartly, Desmond Lee locked in a Triangle Lancer in his own corner after the Scott Bros. squandered several chances for a win by going for pins too close to the Lions' corner, and you've got to think that the Lions might have a claim at a shot for the tag titles.
PATCHES SHOCKS "THE HOT TOPIC" LUNA LACROIX IN A BARBED WIRE BRAWL VIA MUSCLE BOMB PRESS AT 18:39. 76%:
Honestly, there isn't much to write about here; it was just a palette-cleansing brawl in which the two competitors VERY QUICKLY started whipping one another into the barbed wire ropes and beating the shit out of one another with whatever they could find. And credit where credit's due: Patches shocked the world again with ANOTHER win. It wasn't amazing, but it didn't need to be. It just needed to be a solid change of pace, and it watch. Arguably it could have been cut down by a few minutes to really save the match rating.
MELINO TUPOU DESTROYS; CLAIMS PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. #1 CONTENDERSHIP OVER AUBRIE LIBERTY AT 17:43 VIA INVERTED OVERDRIVE. 85%:
These two have great chemistry, and though they were given the opportunity for #1 contendership if either of them won the tag match featuring them, Mayday Malone, and Ella-Mae Carter a few weeks ago, they were simply too good to deny. The match settled into a similar rhythm that previous encounters between Tupo and Liberty did: Liberty tried to pick apart Tupou whilst Tupou just clobbered Liberty. Tupou was looking PARTICULARLY vicious tonight with massive leaping stomps directly to Liberty's face that, somehow, the "American Hero" Liberty kicked out of. And Liberty came back with methodical limb work; particularly some vicious looking DDTs to Tupou's knee, as well as inverted dragon screws. A particularly highlight came when Liberty scaled the turnbuckle and Moonsaulted OVER Tupou into a huuuuuuuuuge suplex. But it wasn't to be for Liberty; as she was driven into Tupou's knee with the Inverted Overdrive for the three-count and #1 Contender's status for the Tongan Deathmatch Princess, Melino Tupou.
SAOIRSE DONNELLY GETS A REVENGE ON HER BROTHER; MOTY CANDIDATE via Vertical Snap DDT at 34:17. 92%:
Now THIS match really turned the night. We had some really solid ones leading up to this, but this might be the best match SHTCWA has put on since its return, and in PURORESU H.E.A.R.T.'s short history as well.
For the unitiated, Fyfe and Saoirse are brother and sister; trained under the tutelage of their legendary mother and father, Bobby and Rose Donnelly respectively. They came up in the business together as one of the UK's hottest tag teams, until Fyfe devastated his sister with a Deep Impact top rope DDT and then kept attacking her, putting her on the shelf for months.
Saoirse's revenge has been a long time coming and she got it tonight.
The match started off with stiff strikes and Fyfe constantly showing off that he was the better technical wrestler than Saoirse; catching takedowns and transitioning into armbars, flipping out of limbwork, and so on. And Saoirse was visibly frustrated, especially as Fyfe simply took a seat mid-match to taunt his sister. But credit to Saoirse; she kept coming and twisted Fyfe into a pretzel multiple times before Fyfe upped the tempo and kept PLASTERING his sister with stiff shots, which she answered back.
The nailed her with a FFF into a deadlift German Suplex, but she wouldn't stay down! Then a Dodonce's Throne into a pin! ANOTHER KICKOUT! ANOTHER DODONCE'S THRONE! ROPE BREAK!
The chaos spilled to the outside, and Saoirse hit a HUUUUGE Asai Moonsault to the outside. But Fyfe had control, bringing in a sledgehammer, and momentum was firmly on his side. Then the sadistic side of him came out, as he took Saoirse down and CLOBBERED her knee against the ring post two seperate times.
After the bedlam, Fyfe looked to end it after bringing a spike into the ring and missing wildly with haymakers.
TOP ROPE DDT; THE DEEP IMPACT. THE MOVE THAT SHELVED SAOIRSE FOR NEARLY A YEAR.
KICK-OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
SAOIRSE PLANTS FYFE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING WITH A SNAP DDT; RIGHT ON THE SPIKE THAT FYFE BROUGHT INTO THE RING.

3! SAOIRSE DONNELLY BEATS HER BROTHER AND REVENGE HAS BEEN HAD; AN INCREDIBLE STAR-MAKING PERFORMANCE BY SAOIRSE.
KINGSLEY CARSON AND MEGUMI ONO TOPPLE THE SONODAS IN VIA A CUTTER INTO AN ELBOW DROP HOLD AT 43:14. 83%:
If any match could have been shortened, if not maybe downright cut, it was this one. Of course, any match was going to struggle to follow up the war between the Donnellys, but there was just something off about this one. Everyone looked okay, but the chemistry just wasn't there, and everyone looked off by a step, unfortunately. Credit where it's due: there were a few AWESOME sequences like Denji Sonoda's roll-throughs into huuuuge V-Triggers and Megumi Ono got in her stiff shots, whilst Kingsley Carson looked good as his slimy, scumball heel self, but again, the pace was just... off for this one, and it went way too long before Carson pinned Sachiko Sonoda for the three-count.
CJ FRESH MAKES A VICTORIOUS RETURN VIA ROAST PIG CLUTCH AT 14:54. 98%:
Good call on the show organizers, calling an auible to make this a singles match with seconds rather than another tag match on a pretty stacked card. In stark contrast to the last match, this one was an absolute sprint, and CJ looked to simply outpace Marcel whilst the Stuttgart Submission Machine kept trying to work CJ's already injured arms.
Some match highlights included CJ hitting an early Fresh Splash for a close two, then later Marcel hitting one of his own, and CJ getting RIGHT UP after it, obviously fired up, and nailing Marcel with the Fresh Drop only for it to be a rope-break. Shortly after, CJ hit a devastating Koppo Kick and rolled Marcel up for the three-count in a fun, fast-paced return match.
THE BEAT-ALLS RETAIN OVER THE GRIM REAPERS VIA STEPOVER ARM BREAKER; 80%. 16:36:
This match was solid, but like the Scott Bros./Lions match before it, it wasn't as good as the previous meeting between these two teams.
There were definitely some good spots, though. A huuuuuge Shatter Machine/Big Rig on George Eggman got only a one-count, as the big man showed a lot of guts just powering out of it. And then John Pepper ate one as well. The Beat-Alls fired back with a biggggg lifting slam into a Codebreaker; a move very similar to the Big Rig.
For the majority of the match, the Beat-Alls smartly isolated Billie Cannon, and Cannon, seemingly stubbornly, also refused to tag in his partner very many times. Unfortunately it cost him in the end, as John Pepper locked in a flash stepover armbreaker and Cannon tapped nearly immediately.
The ending was a bit rushed, and you have to think that may have been because of some other previous matches like the Sonodas/Carson and Ono going long, but it was an interesting story, none the less. The Beat-Alls were a well-oiled machine, whilst The Grim Reapers fell apart because Cannon simply couldn't, or possibly wouldn't, tag in his partner, and he got caught. This match was really solid, but could have been great.
ELLA-MAE CARTER DETHRONES MAYDAY MALONE AT 40:01 VIA HAMMER THROW SPINNING POWERBOMB. 99%:
My oh my oh my oh my. What is there to say about this match? This was a WAR. And Mayday Malone, even in defeat, looks like a million bucks.
The match started off slow, with a feeling out process between the two of them; Ella-Mae using her strength advantage whilst Mayday used her agility and mobility to outpace Ella-Mae. Ella-Mae threw Mayday around and just ragdolled the champ for a long, long time, hitting her HUUUUUGEEE Lariat into a Hammer Throw Spinning Powerbomb combo that won her so many matches before. But Mayday kept kicking out; of two of the sequences, in fact.
And then...
"WHAT? IS THAT CeO? HAS ELLA-MAE MADE A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL HIMSELF?"
shrieked the commentary as CeO strutted down to the ring and locked a Sleeper Hold on Mayday Malone. Mayday fought both Ella-Mae and CeO off and CeO dragged Mayday to the outside, setting up a dive for Ella-Mae only for the Lone Star Ace to crash and burn on the outside, missing the dive.
That lead to a huge swing in momentum and Mayday kept fighting off CeO and Ella-Mae until finally Referee-Chan got control of the match and booted CeO out. Mayday kept nailing Slingblades and Twisting Corkscrew Neckbreakers and a HUGE Bladerunner on the outside.
A second time was a charm for Ella-Mae as she hit a dive to the outisde. And more resilience from Mayday, as she miraculously withstood more ragdolling a late attempt at a Torture Cloverleaf.
Then...
"SWING FOR THE FENCES! THE RUNNING ELBOW! IT HAS TO BE IT!"
But Ella-Mae kicked out! Another one; a kick-out again! You have to think if Mayday charged up and ran on the elbow the second time rather than simply hitting Ella-Mae with her patented elbow she'd have won it.
A SLEDGEHAMMER! THERE'S NO TURNING BACK NOW; ELLA-MAE HAS EMBRACED DARKNESS.
SLINGBLADE! NO-SOLD! ELLA-MAE IS CLOSING INNNNNNNN...
HAMMER POWERBOMB CLIPS THE SLEGEHAMMER! NO! KICK-OUT!
BUT SHE LIFTS HER UP AGAIN; A SECOND HAMMER THROW SPINNING POWERBOMB! DIRECTLY ONTO THE SLEDGEHAMMER GOES MAYDAY'S SKULL WITH A SICKENING SOUND.

3!!!!! IN A SHOCKING RESULT, ELLA-MAE CARTER HAS DETHRONED MAYDAY MALONE AND IS YOUR NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. CHAMPION!
SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. FALLOUT
Rumour has it, according to several sources, there's some backstage heat on Denji Sonoda, Sachiko Sonoda, Kingsley Carson, and Megumi Ono for their tag match going much, much longer than it was meant to go. Reportedly the biggest heat is on Denji Sonoda, the relative veteran compared to everyone else, as he "ought to know better."
Milkshake Jones also reportedly no-showed his fan meet-and-greets that were set up before the matches started tonight, so we'll have to see how things unfold. Jones told an interviewer a few weeks ago that he may be out of SHTCWA if things don't improve for him, so we'll see how tonight's no-show effects his status in SHTCWA.
Lastly, in a post-show segment, after the cameras faded and Ella-Mae Carter kept beating down Mayday Malone, CeO returned to the ring, microphone in hand.
CeO: Oh, Miss Malone. Did you REALLY think you could get the best of me? I may not have beat you at the first Supershow, but this is so much better; knowing I was your undoing, knowing I made you suffer, knowing I ended your reign as double-champion. Miss Malone, I make GOOD investments, and your NEWWWWWWWWWWWWW PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. Champion, Miss Ella-Mae Carter? She is a good investment.
WITH THAT, CeO rushed the ring, and locked in a sleeper hold on Mayday Malone as Ella-Mae Carter stood over Malone's crumpled body, title in her hand. Out of nowhere, though, emerging from the crowd, SHOCKINGLY, was Crushtron 3000, running off CeO and Ella-Mae.
PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. CARD FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 8TH, 2022
via dirtsheetdaily.com
PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. eminates tomorrow night from its home in Hokkaido once again, and with the fallout of SHTCWA x PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. still reverberating around the wrestling world, it ought to be an interesting night.
Last night, an eerie video was posted on GoGo Tanaka's Twitter account. It showed GoGo, shrouded in black, simply saying "Give into your demons." The screen then faded to black, and GoGo's Twitter handle has been changed to simply "Demon."
GoGo Tanaka has been dropped from the PURORESU H.E.A.R.T.'s roster page for the time being, and in her stead, replacing her for this week's match is Yōkai, all but clarifying that, yes, GoGo Tanaka is indeed Yōkai, and she's given into her rumoured alter-ego completely after a disappointing start in PURORESU H.E.A.R.T.
The other huge announcement comes in the form of a rematch between Mayday Malone and new PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. Champion, Ella-Mae Carter, who seems to have made her allegiances be known, enlisting CeO's help to dethrone Mayday Malone for that title. The two clash in the main event of the night for the rematch, with any outside interference being banned by PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. officials.
MATCH CARD:
Machisma vs. Rent-a-Tigress
Yōkai vs. Skye Jameson
Ai Amaya vs. KANAKO
Elimination Fatal 4-Way Match: Odette Okoye vs. Elle Llewellyn vs. Laguna Le Mans vs. Kilby Blackburn
RIPLEY and Saoirse Donnelly vs. Kemper Tierney and Rhiannon Ramsay
Tara Morgan vs. Kasumi Kuramoto
Océane Tremblay Debuts vs. PASSION Kamiya
The Excellent Blondes vs. Bonnie Briggs and Gemma Galloway
PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP REMATCH: Ella-Mae Carter (C) vs. Mayday Malone
The show is scheduled for a 7:00 Eastern start time over on SHTCWA's Streaming Service tomorrow night, Monday, August 8th, and funds will be continued to be raised for To Write Love on her Arms not only for this show, but throughout all of August. More information about the campaign can be found here.
RENT-A-TIGRESS SHOWS OUT, TOPPLES MACHISMA IN A SOLID OPENER: Machisma continues to shine in her excursion over to PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. with everyone's favourite cheap Tiger alternative, Rent-a-Tigress. Rent-a-Tigress wanted to go a million miles a minute and Machisma did well to slow the match down with rest holds. Credit where it's due to Tigress, she came back with impressive technical skills, put the match into overdrive, and hit a HUGE Oedo Coaster, only for Machsima to meet the ropes. Determined to pull out the win, Rent-a-Tigress went all out and hit a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE top rope Tiger Suplex and folded Machisma up with a Japenese Leg Roll Clutch, solidifying her spot on the card and taking the 3-count.
Yōkai Dominates In Her Return; Post-Match Shenanigans Ensue:
Credit to "The Cutest of All-Time" Skye Jameson for even agreeing to this match, and early on, she hit some big hip attacks, but once Yōkai found her rhythm, the result of this match was an inevitability. The Demon absolutely peppered Jameson with brutal axe kicks and focused her attacks Jameson's legs to set up for the Bridging Figure 4 Leg Lock. A particular highlight of the match saw Skye go for a massive, almost flailing jab attempt only for Yōkai to smoothly duck under and nail a clean-looking low dropkick right to Skye's knees.
Yōkai punished Jameson with a huge Mutasault right to the small of her back, but didn't go for a pin, wanting to keep inflicting punishment. A corkscrew moonsault saw Jameson reach for the ropes and get a rope break, but it lead to even more punishment, with Yōkai spitting mist into Skye's face, then following up shortly after with another mist attack, this time when Skye was on the ground.
Yōkai kept punishing Jameson, and fair play to her, she withstood a Bridging Figure 4, but after a bruuuutal Axe Kick into a Superkick combo from Yōkai, she locked in the Bridging Figure Four, and Skye was forced to tap out.
After the match, Yōkai grabbed a mic, yelling, in Japanese "GOGO WA SHINDA!", which translates, simply, to "GoGo is dead."
After this display tonight, the entire PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. roster has been put on notice.
Ai Amaya Falls Victim to "The Killer of Kyoto", KANAKO, In A Valiant Effort:
Credit where credit is due: The "J-Pop Superstar" Ai Amaya looked like a million bucks in a hard-fought loss against KANAKO tonight. For the early goings of the match, Ai was not only standing toe-to-toe with the much larger KANAKO, but she was out-hitting her. Straight up, Ai had KANAKO on the ropes, blasting her with stiff roundhouse kicks that knocked KANAKO down, and she had a really close fall with a Twisting Lightning Hold. But, something turned, and much like her last match in PURORESU H.E.A.R.T., KANAKO seemed to simply go into a whole other mindset and dial everything up to 100 when she realized that Ai wasn't the pushover she'd originally thought Ai would be.
KANAKO absolutely obliterated Ai with several lariats, but Ai kept kicking out until KANAKO's signature Lariat into her brutal Punching Lariat spot finished the match just short of 15 minutes.
Odette Okoye Puts her Name on the Map in a Fatal Four-Way:
This match was your standard fatal four-way/battle royale type of affair, with everyone just hitting their spots, and going hell for leather. There were some impressive spots, like a huuuge kickout of Elle Llewellyn's Last of the Dragon, and some other near-falls. Kilby Blackburn was the first to go, and, to a degree, rightfully so, as she is the least experienced of a pretty inexperienced bunch. But there's no way to get better faster than to just keep wrestling, and she put on a good showing, having a few solid kickouts before being taken out. Laguna had her hope spots and looked solid with some stiff kicks before she, too, was eliminated.
Then, in kind of a shocking moment, it was Odette, who had already had been on a run, took the win over "Dragonheart" Elle Llewellyn.
Rhiannon Ramsay and Kemper Tierney Claim Victory over RIPLEY and Saoirse Donnelly in an Even Match:
These four seem to be interacting a lot lately, and, for good reason: they put on solid matches. This tag match by no means was amazing, and wasn't as good as say, The Scott Brothers vs. the Young Lions of Leeds I, or the first meeting between The Grim Reapers and The Beat-Alls, but it did a solid job of giving everyone a chance to shine, and elevating Rhiannon Ramsay and Kemper Tierney, especially Rhiannon, by giving them a win over Saoirse Donnelly a week removed from her HUGE win over her brother, and getting revenge on RIPLEY as well.
The match was hard-hitting and fast-paced and it paced itself well, leading to a good period of Kemper and Rhiannon smartly isolated both RIPLEY and Saoirse before things switched up pace and everyone just kept making quick tags, freshening up the pace well. Saoirse and RIPLEY hit a BEAUTIFUL sequence where Saoirse hit a Moonsault, RIPLEY followed it up with a huuuuuuuge Moonsault Stomp, and then another Moonsault, only for Rhiannon to kick out, somehow.
Rhiannon then planted Saoirse with a vicious DDT and rolled her up before RIPLEY could get across the ring and make the save, leading to the win.
"The Queen of Amarillo" Tara Morgan is Back, Better Than Ever:
After a few weeks off, Tara Morgan came out against Kasumi Kuramoto with a point to prove, and after an initial struggle to establish dominance and some vicious strike exchanges, Morgan was on the attack, just absolutely clobbering Kuramoto with her patented Texas-style punches. She simply would not let up, and, really, this match kind of turned into a glorified squash. Kuramoto tried to establish a come back with her roll-through kick, the Aun on the outside, and an ankle lock that Morgan fought through, but Morgan just kept clobbering Kuramoto, and then piledriving her to all hell before she finally hit the Tights-Pulling Piledriver for the win.
Océane Tremblay Victorious in Her Fast-Paced Debut vs. PASSION Kamiya:
Much like the opening match, this one was going a million miles a minute from the off, and both competitors looked extremely game. PASSION was all-in on her familiar ways: technical pins. But Océane had an answer for every single pinfall attempt, forcing their shoulders up, or wriggling free of every single attempt. In the early-goings, Océane kept trying for big strikes, but PASSION was able to keep avoiding them, and deliver some deafening chops right to the French-Canadian punk's chest. Océane kept fighting, though, and started to really pick up the pace in an already fast-paced match. A huuuuge Corkscrew Shooting Star from the top rope connected, and there was simply no way PASSION was getting up from it, clinching the victory in Océane's debut.
"NOT SO WEE" BONNIE BRIGGS BETTER THAN THE "BETH IN THE WORLD" TONIGHT:
A last-minute change was made to the match, as apparently Regan O'Reilly and Gemma Galloway were both not at 100% tonight, so the match was changed to a one-on-one match with O'Reilly and Galloway in the respective corners of both competitors, and, honestly, as good as a tag match probably would have been, this was probably the right call. The match between Excellent and Briggs was a great showcase for two relative unknowns. Beth has been a workhorse for years now but has never quite got the chance to shine, constantly being overlooked in SHTCWA before she shifted full-time to PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. and she's been able to showcase her unique talents as a powerhouse with incredible technical skills. She kept working Bonnie's arms to set up for any of the various ways that she could end a match via an armbar, but credit to Bonnie: she showed she has some technical know-how, too. An early highlight came when Excellent hit a great takedown, but Bonnie smoothly got right out of it into a headlock of her own.
Bonnie then started to unload on Beth, but Beth kept firing back until Bonnie absolutely changed the complexion of the match with a HUGE Pop-Up European Uppercut. She plastered Excellent with the move again, and hit a huuuuuuuuuge Terminus, but Excellent got lucky as Regan O'Reilly got involved, distracting Tiger Ref III as Excellent was clearly not going to be able to kick out.
A second Terminus, the Tower Hacker Bomb into knees to the back spelled the end for Excellent when Briggs rolled her up in the Gedo Clutch and got the three-count.
This was a great, hard-hitting, well-paced match that showcased everyone involved.
Ella-Mae Carter is Evil Incarnate In Her First Title Defense:
This match started out scrappy, much like the title match last week between Mayday and Ella-Mae. Mayday showed incredible heart, going right after "The Lone-Star Ace", Carter, and honestly, for the first portion of the match, was clobbering her with huge strikes. She kept going for her huuuuge charge-up lariat that often whiffs, and Ella-Mae, incredibly, just straight-up blocked it at one point, before Mayday NAILED Carter with the Lariat, folding her up like an accordion. But Mayday knew it wasn't enough for the win. She kept pressuring Ella-Mae and swinging momentum her way with a Giant Swing, and with a huge Slingblade, but Ella-Mae no-sold it! A huuuuge Twisting Neckbreaker, but Ella-Mae kicked out, and absolutely destroyed Mayday with a massive lariat to swing momentum back in her favour.
From there, Ella-Mae started to dissect Mayday and take control, culminating in a masssssive twisting senton dive to the outside.
And that is when things turned ugly. The camera just switched in time to a close-up shot outside to see Ella-Mae Carter grab two chairs from under the ring and absolutely OBLITERATE Mayday's arm with a Conchairto. Somehow, miraculously, Mayday was still fighting, but Ella-Mae repeated the spot in the ring, hitting ANOTHER Conchairto to Mayday's arm, and following it up with a sickening "Sacrifice" armbreaker that saw Malone's arm forcefully yanked back into Carter's knee. Malone's arm was dangling limply, and Carter went in for the kill with a HUGE lariat, and a Hammer Throw Powerbomb, but MAYDAY KICKED OUT!
Anooootherrrr sickening sound of steel hitting Mayday's arm as Carter hit another Conchairto, focusing right on Mayday's elbow, and then another lariat turned Mayday inside out. She refused to give in, and the ref didn't stop the match when maybe she should have. Carter lifted Mayday up for another Hammer Throw Spinning Powerbomb, and Mayday was out, with Carter retaining the championship as a chorus of boos rained down upon her and Mayday was left writhing in the ring, clutching her arm.
MALONE OUT FOR "FORSEEABLE FUTURE"; SHTCWA CHAMPIONSHIP HANGS IN THE BALANCE
After the heinous attack from Ella-Mae Carter in the PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. Championship match, Mayday Malone was, obviously, in a lot of pain. Her arm was limply hanging from her shoulder and her elbow immediately looked swollen after the first conchairto to her arm.
She was reportedly rushed to a hospital immediately following the match, and it's already been confirmed that her arm is at least fractured, if not downright broken. She will need surgery, and will be getting it in the coming days.
Looking forward, SHTCWA has posted on social media that Malone will not lose her SHTCWA Championship, as it would be "unfair to a champion like Mayday, after everything she has done for the company." But, SHTCWA will not go without a champ in the meantime; they will decide an interim champion who will take on Mayday when she returns to unify the titles. As for Ella-Mae Carter: she is suspended without pay until the next supershow where she will take on Melino Tupou for the PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. Championship. CeO has also been banned from participating in the Interim Champion tournament.
CeO, ever the slimeball, posted on Twitter
"Don't worry about Miss Carter. She has been compensated very well for what she did to Miss Malone tonight. #PUROHEART"
The schedule for SHTCWA and PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. will change up a bit in the coming weeks, with SHTCWA holding its first night of its Interim Championship tournament next week, August 15th. The next supershow between PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. and SHTCWA will be on September 5th.

PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Ella-Mae Carter (Champion) vs. Melino Tupou (Senatorial Office)
This was a solid opener, and the under-utilized Golazo put in a good shift to open the night in a fast-paced match against "The Manliest Lucha", Machismo. Golazo had some great sequences, countering Machismo and nailing Machismo with a few flurries of kicks. Machismo got a near-fall with a HUGE spinning powerbomb, but Golazo fought out of the pin, only to fall to a run of Shooting Star Presses and sentons into a Running Shooting Star Press for a bit of a shock win; not so much that Machismo won but how he won. This may have been a botched finish and Golazo might have been called to kick out, but didn't. Regardless, it was still a solid match.
CJ Fresh Defeats Beef McHugeBulk in a Fantastic, Fast-Paced Quarter-Final Match:
The bulk (no pun intended) of tonight was devoted to continuing the SHTCWA Interim World Championship tournament, with the finals being fought next week in the Supershow with PURORESU H.E.A.R.T., and the first Quarter-Final match between CJ Fresh and Beef McHugeBulk was an absolute barnburner. With recent wins against Milkshake Jones, and now this effort, even if he came out with a loss, Beef McHugeBulk has proven he might be making the step up to the next level to really be considered a legit threat to a World Championship some day.
These two put on a solid match, with Beef getting A LOT of offense in, and looking fantastic, with multiple hip attacks that got near-falls and Bomba Asensinos, the Deadshot into a Nightmare pin that nearly got CJ to give up. But CJ fired back with a flurry of Fresh Splashes and one finally hit the mark for a three-count for CJ to advance onto the Semis vs. Johnny Throwback, who had a bye due to Patches and Darrik Davies getting double-eliminated last time out.
Rory Warwick Stakes Claim as a Future Star Against Kingsley Carson:
If nothing else, this tournament might be the start of several big runs for tag specialists. Rory Warwick and Kingsley Carson had a really solid, fast-paced match with Warwick smartly working submission holds whilst Carson just kept firing back with brawling and underhanded tactics. Carson eventually gained momentum and control and hit several Cutters, only for Warwick to miraculously kick out, and even simply no-sell the Cutters. Warwick went to back on Carson's lower back with repeated diving stomps and King Kong Knee Drops squarely against Carson's back, and he softened up the legs to eventually lock in a Flying Cross Legbreaker that forced Carson to quickly tap out and allow Warwick to advance to the Semis.
Fyfe Donnelly Topples Corum Scott in a Star-Making Performance:
This match maybe went about 5 minutes too long, but overall, it was still a fantastic outing for Corum Scott, who, alongside Rory Warwick, might be a breakout star in the making. Scott tried to get early taps with the Sharpshooter, but, of course, the submission expert Fyfe Donnelly was having none of it. Donnelly then started to work his way out of submission attempts and lock in his own submissions that Scott valiantly fought out of. Scott picked up the pace whilst Donnelly tried to slow it down, and Scott took it to a next level, absolutely CLOBBERING Donnelly with a Northern Lariat, the Lariat from behind to the back of the head. He often follows it up with a running Falling Lariat, but Donnelly got out of the way of the signature spot multiple times, and the frustration was obvious in Scott's face. He lost focus as he hit even more Northern Lariats and Donnelly kept getting out of the way of the follow-ups, then Scott seemed to just abandon the spot all-together, and it cost him. Scott switched up his focus, attempting Dragon Screw combos to set up the Sharpshooter, but Donnelly withstood the punishment.
Donnelly then slipped to the outside and found a chair, then played the waiting game until he absolutely OBLITERATED Scott with a vicious Snap Dragon Suplex onto the chair, setting up a second Nightmare of "D" of the match, right onto the chair, for the pin and the win. He then locked in the Donnelly Deathlock to a thunderous round of boos.
Crushtron 3000 Destroys Tigertron 3000, Setting Up a Match Against CeO Next Week:
This match was all but a formality, as the result was never really in doubt, but credit where credit's due: Tigertron 3000 stuck in the match for longer than expected, and there was a slight scare when Crushtron and Tigertron were on the outside and CeO got involved; that was after Crushtron grabbed Tigertron by the leg and HURLED the Cybernetic Tiger into the god-damned second row of the crowd. And, again, credit where credit is due: Tigertron kicked out of a Giant Choke Slam, miraculously, but couldn't kick out of a second, then got launched into the crowd AGAIN post-match.

Timey-Wimey Shenanigans Interrupt Bumblebrook's Debut, but the Pugilist Prevails vs. Davies:
We had some strange goings-on in this match, as Darrik Davies got seemingly frozen and Bartleby didn't know what to do with his opponent. Keen-eyed viewers will remember that we had time-related shenanigans several years ago when Milkshake Jones was in the possession of a time amulet, but who knows if anything comes of this. The match was restarted, and though Davies put up a good fight with his underhanded tactics, the Wrestling Detective got the pretty decisive win over the Dastardly One with a running Tornado Punch for the three-count.
Donnelly Secures Finals Spot in a Solid, Submission-Specialist Match:
Again, another star-making performance for Warwick here as he matched Donnelly early hold-for-hold and kept working the legs and knees with Dragon Screws and Donnelly fought back with his tried-and-tested strategy of slowing the match down and working clever submission holds to wear Warwick out. Warwick used what brought him this far in the tournament: his knees, and he used them well. He had Donnelly reeling, and very smartly kept blocking Donnelly's attempts at the Snap Dragon Suplex that had been Corum Scott's undoing. Warwick kept working the legs, looking for that Rolling Legbreaker, but Donnelly withstood it, and just like the previous match, brought a chair into the ring and used it to his advantage. Finally, Donnelly hit a Dragon Suplex, this time opting for the bridge as he had FINALLY hit Warwick with the move he wanted, and unfortunately for the Young Lion of Leeds, Warwick couldn't wriggle out of the pin and Donnelly secured his spot next week in the Interim Championship Finals.
El Hijo Del 8-Bit CRITS Florida Tiger Via Shooting Star Press:
Florida Tiger tried every underhanded, junk-focused attack known to man, but El Hijo Del 8-Bit was simply too much for him in this sub-10 squash match. And to make matters worse for Florida Tiger, 8-Bit absolutely destroyed him with a CRIT! Button Mashing (Shooting Star Press) for an easy 1, 2, 3-count win.
CJ Fresh Overcomes Throwback To Face Off Against Donnelly In The Finals:
CJ Fresh might be the best underdog in SHTCWA, if not all of wrestling. From the opening bell, Throwback was simply throwing CJ around and stretching him out in hopes to put the King of Swag Style away. And he got very close with a Schoolboy Suplex right in the middle of the ring and a Ground Octopus Hold that he's put opponents away with before. But credit where credit is due: CJ kicked out and fought back and nailed ONE Ripcord Koppo Kick for a very close 2.9 and apparently that was all it took for CJ to dial into another gear. He knew he could go down at any second if he wasn't careful. Throwback kept just absolutely obliterating Fresh with huge Germans that saw Fresh flip over and land right on his damned face, even dumping CJ to the outside with one of those suplexes. A highlight in particular came when Throwback dumped CJ onto his head with a vicious German only for CJ to fight it off, run at Throwback, then get caught with a HUGE Backdrop. Another German on the outside saw CJ flip out of it and finally mount his comeback. CJ hit a huuuuuge Fresh Drop, but it dumped Throwback to the outside!
CJ then finally turned fortunes around his way, hitting a sequence of Fresh Splashes, the Vaulting Frog Splash, and after a few rope breaks, finally got one away from the ropes and secured a win, meaning he will face off next week against Fyfe Donnelly for the Interim SHTCWA World Championship.
All in all, this was probably SHTCWA's best night for consistent match quality; no real weak points to speak of. Everyone put on a fantastic show and it was a really solid build for next week.
After several weeks of tense build-up, and an absolute obliteration of CeO's feline henchman, Tigertron 3000, Crushtron 3000 finally got his hands on CeO in a ring in this match. But credit where credit is due: In the early-goings of this match, surprisingly, it was all CeO. Even after Crushtron hit a MASSIVE Powerbomb to the outside that you would think would have ended CeO's night. Eventually, though, Crushtron's pure power was too much, especially after he picked CeO up by the leg and launched him into the crowd much like he did Tigertron 3000 last week. From there, the conclusion to the match was only an inevitability and the huge cyborg hit the Giant Choke Slam, after an Airplane Spin F-5, and got the win, continuing to punish CeO after the match and ending it all with a huge running boot before officials got involved to break it up. Where CeO goes from here, who knows? But one thing we know for sure is Crushtron is no longer under the control of CeO.
Warrior Pro's Grim Reapers and Team Tabarnak Put on a Classic:
This was arguably MOTN; what a fantastic showing from both teams. The Grim Reapers looked every bit the formiddable, dastardly heel team and Team Tabarnak played their parts as the faces perfectly. An interesting wrinkle throughout the match was how Tyson Heyward and Jean-Francois Thibault seemed to match up constantly whilst Billie Cannon and Jean-Jacques Lavoie seemed to match up. Thibault in particular really stood out, flying around the ring, and getting an amazing assisted GTS into a running knee spot that nearly stole the match. Then Lavoie kicked out of a HUGE Big Rig/Roadhouse and saved his team, but eventually, Heyward locked in the Deaths Door on Lavoie and Cannon was able to run enough interference that Thibault couldn't break it up and Lavoie passed out, meaning The Grim Reapers move on to take on the winner of the Scott Bros. vs. the Young Lions of Leeds.
Blood Dragon Returns In a Losing Effort, Putting Over Patches:
Patches, the one-time unemployed clown, has been on a hot run as of late and put out an open challenge to "anyone who's hardcore, and down to clown" for a deathmatch. Who should answer his call but seemingly retired Deathmatch legend, and father of Denji and Sachiko Sonoda, Blood Dragon? And he looked really solid for someone in his mid-60s. He was hanging with Patches, clobbering Patches with huge lariats and getting thrown into barbed wire and getting dumped to the outside and setting up huge explosions. This one was just a bloody mess of a fight, but Patches was resilient enough despite bleeding buckets to lock in the Anaconda Vice after a huge Implant DDT and secure the win.
Tremblay Topples Mtn Dewchador in a Cross-Promotion Match:
This was a fun, fast-paced match that saw the Mtn Dewchador really take it to Tremblay, and hit several instances of his Poison Mist Mtn Dew attack into Sunset Flips and Top Rope Code Reds, but Tremblay kept kicking out over and over, until she finally destroyed Mtn Dewchador with a top-rope spike reverse Frankensteiner that drove Mtn Dewchador right on top of his head. Tremblay followed up with a La Magistral and got the huge win in her second match.
Scott Bros. Finally Get a Win over Young Lions of Leeds When It Matters:
You could probably say this was MOTN as well, and the Scotts and the Young Lions continue to put on incredible performances and show how much chemistry they have together. The match was hard-hitting and fast-paced and Caleb Scott in particular really got to show off his high-flying abilities. But the Young Liongs of Leeds started to take control and a match highlight was an INCREDIBLE sequence that saw both Warwick and Lee springboard and nail Corum Scott with stereo attacks: a knee and a Phenomenal Forearm. But that didn't get them the win! Much like the match before it, Corum Scott locked in a Sharpshooter, and Caleb Scott ran interference, meaning Desmond Lee tapped and the Scott Bros. are facing off against the Grim Reapers.
Odette Okoye Puts Up a Great Effort, Loses:
Odette Okoye, the WRSTL Academy stand-out coached by CJ Fresh has been showing up and showing out lately, and wearing her Fresh-inspired gear, she really showed up and showed out tonight. Yōkai was really expected to just dominate, but Odette matched the Evil Spirit move for move and hit a few soldebutt rushes to really swing momentum her way. She then had multiple chances to win with Seated Superkicks, but Yōkai kicked out of all of them, and locked in a Bridging Figure Four which Odette miraculously fought of. Seemingly frustrated, Yōkai nailed Odette with a Mutasault and got the win in a surprisingly hard-fought match.
Yumi Yamada Proves She's Still Got it Against Beth Excellent:
This was a fast-paced, hard-hitting, fun match that excellently (no pun intended) showcased both competitors, and really showed that Yumi Yamada, the Joshi Legend, still has a lot to give. She fought out of multiple armbars and armbreaker attempts against Excellent, who really showed just how underappreciated she is. But after multiple Rolling Tiger Suplexes, Excellent was put down for the three-count.
RIPLEY Topples KANAKO In a Solid Match:
In a match of competitors that probably should be doing more, RIPLEY simply showed their technical skill and stamina was better than KANAKO's raw power, and KANAKO simply looked to be unable to get out of the gates. RIPLEY hit a MASSIVE Cou de Grace stomp halfway across the damned ring into a Standing Moonsault, and a second Coup de Grace, eventually sealing the match with a huge Tigerdriver '91 for the win.
Grim Reapers Beat Scott Bros. To Become #1 Contenders:
Another really solid match, and unfortunately for the Scott Bros., they ended up just short. The match started out hot with Caleb Scott nailing Tyson Heyward with a huuuuuge dive to the outside, and the Scotts used their speed and agility whilst the Reapers tried to simply grind the Scotts down and utilize rest holds to slow down the match pace. Caleb, like much of the night, kept simply flipping all over the place and looking like a million bucks. And Corum, to his credit, miraculously kicked out of a huuuuuge Big Rig, then hit two massive assisted jumping knees; the move that Caleb Scott usually hits for the Scotts. Unfortunately the two teams simply couldn't get the decisive win with constant break-ups of finishing moves, but eventually, a necklock from Cannon on Caleb Scott ended the matching and securing the #1 Contenders spots for the Grim Reapers, meaning we'll see them face off against The Beat-Alls again for the tag championships.
CJ Fresh Wins the Big One; Is Your SHTCWA Interim Champion:
Another awesome match, and it was much like any Fyfe Donnelly match: Donnelly looks to frustate and slow down the pace, whilst Fresh came out at a torrid pace and was showing off throughout the match. He got SPIKED on his head with a huge FFF that transitioned into a head-spike, but Fresh kicked out. CJ then hit multiple Fresh Splashes only to have them be in the ropes. And then it looked to be over when Donnelly STOLE THE FRESH DROP, but he pinned CJ in the ropes!
The two kept fighting it out, then CJ hit a MASSIVE Ripcord Koppo Kick, seemingly knocking Donnelly out cold, and rolled him up with the Azumi Sushi for the 1, 2, 3, crowning CJ Fresh as YOURRRRRRRRRRRRRR SHTCWA INTERIM WORLD CHAMPION!
Melino Tupou is Your NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. Champion!:
"The Tongan Deathmatch Princess" Melino Tupou came into this match with a plan: hurt Ella-Mae Carter. And she did, very early into the match, stomping on The Lone-Star Ace's face and busting Carter open. From there, really, Tupo took control, and though Ella-Mae stood her own, she never quite could get into a rhythm. Tupou hit a HUGE Inverted Overdrive, but Carter kicked out, mounted a huge comeback, and NAILED Tupou with a front suplex that launched the challenger to the outside. Ella-Mae then followed up with an incredible diving senton from the top rope to the outside. Tupou came back and locked in the Tongan Death Grip, but shockingly, Carter fought out of it, which might be a first for anyone! Carter then mounted a comeback and locked in her Torture Texas Cloverleaf, but it was Tupou's turn to fight out of a signature submission! The two kept trading blows from there, and then, out of nowhere, Tupou nailed Carter with the Inverted Overdrive.

33333333! AND MELINO TUPOU, THE TONGAN DEATHMATCH PRINCESS, IS YOUR NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW PURORESU H.E.A.R.T. WORLD CHAMPION!
Gonna take the week off from Fire Pro; just admittedly a bit burnt out, tired, and overly-busy. I've got a lot of freelance work to do and just other general scheduling conflicts that means tonight isn't the best time to try and stream, and that combined with not quite having the time to properly build a card for this week means I'd rather just take the week off. I'll still be streaming, but no Fire Pro, this week. I'll be back next bigger and better. :)
