Victory themes sometimes do play and sometimes don't for me. Naito busted out the Stardust Press in a match I had against him. I was aware the move was added, but I thought it wasn't in his moveset. Does this mean Spike actually edited the PS4 movesets? Pretty cool if so. Naito has the old Cancun Tornado in his move set, not the new Stardust Press

Man, the New Japan DLC doesn't interest me much, all I want is Fire Promoter... I worry we won't even have that this year.

However I don't think the new heads look right, maybe that's just me, but I don't think they mesh well with the older heads.

I gotta agree with lordworm. I think the new heads are way too distinct. I really miss the old art style that we had in previous games.

Maybe just wishful thinking but does anyone think they'll announce something on the Friday stream?

So the new interview today in Famitsu is lame and not worth reading. Just the same things the director always says, and now he wants to publicly apologize via live stream. (per Reddit)

(per Reddit) He also admits to the mistakes his team has made and avoids making any feature promises like he's done previously. Worth a quick run through at least, for Taichi if nothing else; I actually expected it to be a work but Taichi seemed sincere.

So here in November there's still no Promoter. Jeez I don’t see why people are so jazzed for this fire promoter anyway. It won’t run cards, or track your champions, their records and past matches. It’s really just a game for you to acquire and grow talent, and run finances.

It’s really just a game for you to acquire and grow talent, and run finances. That might be enough for a lot of people. I know I want to run my boxers in the mode and try to pry Ali or Tyson away from the top promoters. That said, I have no problem waiting however long it takes to come out. In fact, the longer it takes, the more time I have to make edits for it.

It means that he has realized it's a bad idea to promise features before they've been cleared. Also, to approach interviews as a director and not another Fire Pro fan. In a lot of previous interviews, he's stated what he would like to see as a player. However, since he's also one of the directors that could be misinterpreted as a promise that said features will make it into the game.
