I don’t know if anyone here has tried either Redeemer or American Fugitive, but both are on discount as art of the PS4 March sale. I’ve been watching both of these games for a while now, both are appealing, but I thought I’d see what the C!C peeps have to say! Thanks in advance! m.youtube.com/watch?v=N-l-NnJfOA8m.youtube.com/watch?v=7yaElNMe0fw

With PWX being a bit relevant again with the release of the podcast interview of Sanders Keel mentioned over in that other thread, it also bears mentioning that, as a response to the financial issues for gamers caused by the Covid outbreak, PWX is currently now reduced in price on Steam to 99 cents in a relief measure of sorts, and will permanently be going completely free in about 8 weeks when Steam allows them to.

A little late seeing it but most of the Fire Pro World DLC for PS4 is on discount until Tuesday morning (3.31.20)
Everything except the two Takayama packs and the latest two packs (Stardom II and the SUDA 51 story) is on sale.
I'm conflicted because I have the game on both platforms but don't really play the PS4 version despite my PC running it less than ideally (I already have said DLC on PC,; I just have the base game on PS4).
Anyhow, if you're a PS4 Fire Pro World Player and don't have Fire Promoter, NJPW, Stardom I, or Entrance Craft, this would be a good time to get them on the cheap.

Is the fire promoter thing a lot of micro managing? I’ve considered it, but I’ve gotten to a stage in my life where even too much crafting in games feels like a godamned job. It looks cool, but if i have to do hot dog inventory at stadium concessions, I’m OUT! Thanks! 🙂 Oh yeah, does the stardom thing have any cool moves? I don’t really care about a roster of joshi I’ve never heard of, but some moves might be cool.

It looks cool, but if i have to do hot dog inventory at stadium concessions, I’m OUT! Thanks! 🙂 It actually isn't that much micro managing. I was expecting there to be more. Even stadium inventory only takes 30 seconds to set per event. Sadly, you don't get to choose the type of hot dog topping. I know most people like mustard but I just am not about that life 🌭 I mentioned this two weeks ago in support of trying Fire Promoter. It really comes down to building up your edits rankings in each region and the ratings for your shows so that your popularity will increase in each region. There isn't that much to do beyond that but it can still be fun to "play the game" to grow your popularity early. The problem is, once you hit #1 (or even earlier), most of the variety kind of goes out the window and it's just a slow crawl. But I enjoy seeing the occasional surprises with the news updates and roster movement. And I enjoy poaching talent and Titles from the promotions that originally refused to work from me cause v(km) indictiveness helps your rankings improve 😁 Oh yeah, does the stardom thing have any cool moves? I don’t really care about a roster of joshi I’ve never heard of, but some moves might be cool. The first Stardom pack is amazing with the amount of moves available that appealed to me even without having ever watched a Stardom match. The second pack also has a lot of winners but the first pack remains my absolute fave DLC pack for the entire game so far. Even better than the NJPW packs for moves 😎

If you have a fair amount of female edits, it's a game changer for the parts alone, since there are really just a handful of parts for female wrestlers in the base game. Once you have enough female wrestlers, you'll have used the same basic patterns a bunch of times. The amount of new parts in the Stardom pack alleviates this a lot and gives you a lot more options, enough to be worth it to me.
If you don't have as many female wrestlers, it won't make AS much of a difference, but some of the patterns look good on guys, too. Like a woman named Kagetsu has Japanese characters on her pants, which I've used for guys like Muta, Shinzaki, and others.
The "show me your moves" thread in the FPW section also lists all the actual moves by when (and what with) they came out, so it'll have a rundown of what moves come with Stardom. The big standouts to me were the hair whip throw and some of the boots and kicks, but I always get the most out of basic moves.

Those deals really were pretty good (for the platform) and probably won't show up again until the end of summer so I went ahead and double dipped on the DLC too.
Lord help me lol

Jesus, games with gold for April is NOT conducive to self isolation...
Project CARS 2 ($59.99 ERP): Available April 1 to 30 on Xbox One Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle ($22.49 ERP): Available April 16 to May 15 on Xbox One Fable Anniversary ($39.99 ERP): Available April 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360 Toybox Turbos ($9.99 ERP): Available April 16 to 30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
Why does MS hate its users so much? 🙂 fable is okay at least. PS4 has uncharted 4 and DIRT 2.0. I always wonder how these “free” games are chosen.
Toy box turbos? Really?...
