This is my initial entrant for the Fighting Road DLC. It was 3:30 AM and I probably didn't think this one out 😁 His finisher is currently a regular Powerbomb. I'm building to the Striking Lariat with the Lariat special and he has a lot of flash pins. I can see him eventually being an Orthodox/Technical style edit with the ability to pin, a big lariat, and one big front grapple finisher. Not sure I'll keep going the Powerbomb route though.

IIRC you're more likely to get a spirit boost through kicking out than fighting off submissions. There's also just an aesthetic thing to it as well, where submissions tend to be less visually exciting than a 2.9 count. Don't get me wrong, I love submissions, but even if you're watching a Zack Sabre Jr. match he tosses in nearfalls to keep the crowd hot. In Fire Pro there's nothing more blah than a submission locked in and the ref walks over and just calls it in what was a good match. Super late but: The edit is allowed one shot at a the ukemi boost breaking a would be three count per match. They always get the boost if the fall triggers it, but it won't guarantee it turns the fall into a 2.9. The size of this one time boost is heavily variable. It could be 1% of the bar and do nothing. It could be 50% of the bar and buy them 2-3 more nearfalls. Subs, however almost always give back spirit when the edit taking them escapes (ropebreaks and DQ count subs don't get this boost IIRC). This can result in an edit getting a net GAIN of spirit off heavy submission use under certain circumstances, especially around the early portion of the match. EDIT: Neat stuff as always Geese, I really do need to catch up on your boys and your fed at some point. I'm seein a few things from Spunk's advice that I'd like to give feedback on, namely the Geese edit's low rate of pinfall finish (likely stemming from your not wanting to see his big bomb 7 minutes in).

I felt like maybe you'd appreciate the take on the update, Geese. His alts are the broken arms and the diaper :P

And now, my Thanksgiving gift to you all: The FPW debut and return to UBBLE of Ralph "Pot Belly" Ferguson!! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1566066471(Friends Only distribution. NJPW DLC required)Some notes: - His second appearance is dripping with gravy and is based on his infamous "Happah Eating" RP from 2010 where he introduced the hellscape concoction affectionally referred to as: "Beef Pollonnaise" - He is a comedic enhancement talent wrestler. However, because of his immense size, he has the tendency to make life difficult for junior heavyweight faces. - Due to eating big meals right before matches, he suffers from acid reflux throughout the match. - He also suffers from excessive flatulence which his opponent suffers from worse. "Brown Friday" is celebrated at the "Pot Belly" household as a result of a gluttonous Thanksgiving 💩

Love the use of the new taunts, I'm going to give Ralph a series against some of my Jr heavies to see if they can hold up, heh

Well, first one out was this little war: Second time around, Phil Mercury beat him with a Shining Wizard in 19:18, his speed was just too much for Ralph. El Froggy Mask also got a win, running through him in 15 and hitting his finisher, The Hop, a high powered missile dropkick. Thus far, Ralph's been acquitting himself quite well, totally took Lil Lariato to his limit, too.

Love the use of the new taunts, I'm going to give Ralph a series against some of my Jr heavies to see if they can hold up, heh His FPR version just had the belly taunts (which I loved) but the NJPW pack had so many new taunts that could be used in a mortifying fashion that I jumped right on them! 🤣 I love the subtlety of the acid reflux taunt right after he does a move that affects his chest/neck. Well, first one out was this little war: Second time around, Phil Mercury beat him with a Shining Wizard in 19:18, his speed was just too much for Ralph. Thus far, Ralph's been acquitting himself quite well, totally took Lil Lariato to his limit, too. Wow, he's really holding up his side of the dinner table!! Thanks for the sim results and description!! 😎 In addition to the competition factor, were you seeing his taunts enough? My two concerns with him were competitive balance and frequency of entertaining moves. I want him to be able to beat lower/mid card faces when he's aggressive (since, unlike us, he actually thinks he's a serious wrestler and the boy does have some size to him!) but I also want to make sure that he's doing his taunts enough. Otherwise he just ends up being a fat power wrestler rather than a fat power wrestler that has considerable digestive difficulties. I want the majority of his uh..."difficulties" to come toward the latter portion of the match with just the acid reflux teasing in the beginning. The idea is that he just ate a big meal before the match and that really catches up to him in late damage. In fact, sometimes I wonder if he's considering running backstage during that "gas taunt -> running hip drop" priority rather than following through with the hip drop!

I saw the hip swivel taunt more than anything else, my thought is that if you want to regulate them appearing later, attach a few of the new taunts to some appropriate non-match winning moves and only set them to happen later in the match. I could see him hitting a powerslam and getting up to do the "gas taunt"as a result, for example.

I could see him hitting a powerslam and getting up to do the "gas taunt"as a result, for example. Here's current the set-up for the taunts: The "pound belly" taunt only happens after the "Belly2BellyLOLBelly" finisher so I'm fine with that being more rare. I love watching him do his finisher, then the taunt, only for the opponent to get up LOL. The hip swivel taunt happens a little more often as its tied to 1 or 2 moves and can happen when opponent is outside. The "acid reflux" taunt is tied to some early and late moves but I'm not really seeing it as much as I thought. The "pass gas" move is tied to him winning a late match strike exchange but can also happen on downed random logic. It always leads to the running hip drop move. I could jack up the moves a bit more on random logic or perhaps just increase the lead-in moves. He's coming across right now a bit more physical than funny but it varies per match. I'm not surprised you saw that taunt the most and thanks very much for the advice. I wish I had even more priorities, LOL! I may decide to take away one of his priorities to win and turn it into another one based on entertainment. After all, he is still just enhancement talent and I probably don't need him to have as many ways to win as he has.

Fresh off of his return to UBL and first match back (after 8 years!) at "Horror of Hardcore"... Jakob of Furis, the Devil of Densus, comes to the Steam Vorkshop just in time for Halloveen! Note: "Friends Only" setting. Also, have all DLC just in case. I didn't keep track of which used parts and moves came from which DLC. I owe a very special thanks to Senator. Senator's request to have Furis on his show was the real catalyst for me creating him in FPW. And then Senator put the real work in of listening to my massive quote-imbued PM's with concerns for Furis. He also test simmed him and gave me excellent feedback. But don't blame Senator's input for Furis doing what a vampire does best: sucking 😁🤣

Thanks! I hope you enjoy using him! 🦇
Furis has been around for 13 years now. He started as a comedic twist on a "Bela Lugosi" style vampire, then got concussed by Geese Walker and turned into a vicious, feral, deadly serious vampire that enacted revenge on everyone who wronged and mocked him during his earlier run. The transformation was one of my favorite turns I've ever done in e-feds. Behind it all, he's a guy who suffered personal trauma and convinced himself he was a vampire. He retired in 2011 after his psychologist caught up to him and helped him regain his sanity but recently returned to the ring because that doctor was abducted and Furis is trying to find out where he is.

(also love the attire on Jakob)
