Some News coming out of the G1 Climax in my King of Colosseum Sim.

1. In the beginning of the Finals at Ryogoku, Masanobu Fuchi made a surprise appearance & announced a working agreement with NJPW & Shook hands with Riki Choshu in the Ring which prompted Masahiro Chono to come to the Ring & challenge Fuchi. It has been announced for 9/2/00 AJPW show at Nippon Budokan that it will be the Semi Main event of Masahiro Chono Vs Masanobu Fuchi.
2. Masahiro Chono also is not coming alone to the Budokan as he has announced he's bringing one of the Team 7 of Team 2000; Giant Singh over as well & offers a Handicap match challenge against any 2 of All Japan's roster. That challenge has been accepted by Tumeric Storm Tomoaki Honma & Kazushi Miyamoto.
3. Also Chono is keeping an eye on the main event of the 9/2/00 Budokan Hall show where the 43rd World Tag Team Champions Abdullah The Butcher & Giant Kimala will make their first defense against Toshiaki Kawada & Mitsuya Nagai. Chono is interested in wanting to prove that he & his partner Hiroyoshi Tenzan are the best Tag Team in Japan & want to have a Champions Vs Champions match at the Tokyo Dome 10/9/00.
4. Takashi Iizuka after his disappointing showing in the G1 has requested to Riki Choshu that he wants to go over to AJPW as well to rebuild himself & he will be coming to AJPW on 9/2/00 & his first opponent will be Taiyo Kea. He is still in New Japan, this is just a loaner deal requested by Iizuka.

Jushin Thunder Liger After his performance in the G1 winning the A Block over Yuji Nagata is willing to step up to the Heavyweight Division & will take part in a "Heavyweight Level Up" 8 Match series against Various Heavyweights From the G1 Climax. His 8 matches will be:

• 9/11/00 Kenzo Suzuki
• 9/12/00 Dan Divine
• 9/13/00 Osamu Nishimura

Liger's performance in these 8 matches will determine if he Officially becomes a Heavyweight.

The Finals of the G1 Climax has really shaken up the subject of challengers for the 28th IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kensuke Sasaki. Junji Hirata wins the G1 Climax guaranteeing himself a IWGP Heavyweight Title Match. However Hiro Saito, the man he beat for the G1, was responsible for beating Kensuke Sasaki on 8/9/00 in Hiroshima & feels even though he lost the G1, that he should challenge Kensuke as the main event of 10/9/00 in the Tokyo Dome & that while Hirata by winning the G1 is guaranteed a title match, he was in a different block & never faced Kensuke whereas Saito was in Kensuke's block. There is confusion & uncertainty on who will be granted the title match first & a poll will be provided soon asking all of you who do you think should get the 10/9/00 Title shot.
