heelsinc , I realised after testing in-game that one was kind of quiet so I boosted the volume and replaced the mp3. Here is the new one: " Lets Go Cena! Cena Sucks!" Hey I just tried this one out I haven't tried to use this feature till now and it's pretty sweet, I DONT know why I never tried these chants till now. Thanks for posting and sharing Yeah I agree. When I noticed that the Crowd Chants mod was part of Carlzilla's mod suite, I was really surprised that more people hadn't hopped all over this. Seems more people are focused on super customization of edits, but I couldn't be bothered with that. Granted, the Commentary Engine idea may give more variety and customization in terms of what chants are used in what situations, but this is a nice and simple barebones way of having custom chants, and i've been having a lot of fun with it. |

This is awesome! Thanks for doing this, I was wondering if anyone was going to do this. This will make things even better in the matches! It absolutely adds a certain layer of quality and realism to matches. It actually sort of made me trip out the other day, as I was playing a match with Adam Cole vs. Ricochet just to test on high difficulty. The end of the match got really difficult, and we were basically exchanging BIG movies, signatures, and 2.9 counts for a solid 5 minutes while the crowd chanted "This is Awesome". I finally won around 20 minutes with a super kick followed by shining wizard from the corner. It actually really felt like an NXT Takeover show, and it was awesome. I can't take any credit for this though. Carlzilla is the one doing all the hard-work in creating and coding the mods. All I did was download some clips off of youtube and chop sections of audio into mp3s, with some minor mixing and splicing :) I am glad that people are having as much fun with this mod as I am though. |

From a technical standpoint, the files are generic and you can assign them how you see fit. If you want something like "This is Awesome" to apply to a bunch of different wrestlers, just make multiple copies of the file and name it after each wrestler. As far as I know, there is no faster way to do that. I think it goes without saying but there are a few chants that are obviously wrestler specific (ie: "Roman Sucks" or "Cena Sucks" quite clearly wouldn't apply to anybody else, but i don't think that's what you meant)
I can add a "generic" filter to allow files tagged with the name Generic to always load.
Yes, that would be awesome and would avoid having to copy the same mp3 and rename it over and over. Also, is there any chance would you be able to explain some of the details or inner-workings of this mod? Ie: Is only one mp3 loaded per match? I have noticed that while chants may be different from match to match, it never changes to a different chant during an ongoing match. If that's the case, is there a way to make it so 2 or 3 different chants may play during a match? Or are we stuck with just one? (I don't know how easy or difficult this stuff is to do, so don't know if I'm asking too much here. Sorry if so.) |

Yes, and I'm pretty sure that's clearly indicated in the instructions of the original post. Are the instructions not clear enough? Anyways, the answer to your questions is; Yes, you need to assign the mp3s to individual wrestlers (even the generic chants) by following the instructions as written in my original post! Carlzilla mentioned in the comments somewhere that he might be able to make it so generic crowd chants always load, but he has not provided an update on that idea yet. In the mean time, please just follow the instructions. |
