Aaaaaaand, we're back! " Little Chop(per) of Horrors" flies us into 2024! *Loose Canon Spike End Game initiated.*I figure I can wrap this whole storyline up in 2 more LARGE promos. I have some big plans coming up after we return to normalcy. It's gonna take a little while to get back to the schedule of shows we all planned for mid 2023 but I think it will be worth it. |

So tonight I just wrote out two huge RP's to further the ending of Loose Canon/Canon Spike.
I realized I'll need just one more in addition to those and we'll be officially back in tight regular canon.
I want to pace them out since they are long and I want to make sure I don't provide too much too soon then burn out for another two weeks with nothing to show. So I'll probably post one a week. Then I'll do one promo for each promotion acknowledging what happened and moving forward. I already wrote out part of UBL's.
I'm also been e-organizing the schedule and seeing which shows from last year are closest to being done. The good news is that two of them are without needing any more simming! I just need to write them out. Hopefully I can finish them while pacing out the big promos so that I can have shows rolling in late June/early July. I may cut down on write-up size just so I can get some momentum going again.

Very glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun writing it, especially Hunter's numerous factual mistakes and Ruby's reactions. No reason we can't have a little fun despite a meltdown going on in the nearby arena! 😁 Things take a turn for the more serious in the next one though... AND we have the first subtle confirmation of the promotion Los Angeles Fighting Festival it seems. And that's literally how this kind of thing starts. One small little joke in a promo and 3 years from now we'll be having LAWL vs. LAFF: "Battle for Los Angeles" - the main event: Potatoes and Bananas vs. Papayas and Bell Peppers" 😁 P.S. The Los Angeles Screw Job of 2027: Ruby: "Ring the damn bell!" Papayito: "Hey, that's our partner!" |

I can imagine a particularly aggressive ad campaign from LAFF aimed at their rivals. "Watch one more second of LAWL? Don't make me LAFF!" It has all the 'in your face idiocy' of "Sega does what Nintendon't" commercials! Further proof that Saji treating SWA as his home promotion is in his best interests 😁 Interested to see where this all goes. Post-Apoc Emperor Geese Walker certainly wasn't on my bingo card. This is probably the most ridiculous example of me planning ahead. I actually had Post-Apoc Emperor Geese on my bingo card for like 10-15 years but just couldn't find the right timing to introduce him! 2024 seems as good a time as any though, am i rite? 🤦♂️ So I got a bit delayed/distracted/disembodied (... 🤔) for the past week but I'm back. I have to write the next big RP to de-empire OG-FPD and return things back to normal. I hope to do so over the next week. Then I'll have 1-2 "full reset" promos before we're back running shows again. I actually have the "Summer School" event for Basic Training 100% ready to go so there won't be much of a wait for legit action to re-commence 😎 |

Okay, so that early summer momentum kind of fizzled out a bit. Let's try it again! "Throwing Down the Gauntlet" continues the story and gets us one tantalizing step closer to ending the almost yearlong albatross that has been Loose Canon. I finished writing it earlier tonight as well as the RP right after that. That will be posted next week. Then I will have 1-2 "back to normal" promos after that to deal with some of the fallout and push us forward into the normal canon and regular shows again. I have the first event (Basic Training) ready to go 😎 |
