RIP to baseball legend Hank Aaron
One of the undisputed greatest players in the history of the sport and by all accounts, one of the games greatest "good guys" off of the field too.

You know you're old when your childhood heroes and names start fading :(
Hank Aaron was before my time, but he was always celebrated whenever his name was mentioned. I used to boo "The Natural" Butch Reed when I was a kid.
Christopher Plummer was such a great Shakespearean actor. For me, he was a gem in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. For any Trekkers on this forum, don't hate me, but I always liked Star Trek VI a wee bit more than Start Trek II and Plummer's throwing out lines from Julius Caesar, Hamlet and I think King Lear added to it.

That's terrible, he was absolutely a bright spot on NWA Power and had a unique thing going before that.

Very sad to hear. He was definitely entertaining on NWA as the Question Mark. I don't know what knack heaven has for taking these Brody-esque type greats from us so early for, but regardless it's a big loss for the NWA and wrestling community. The Mongrovian flag flies at half mast in his honor.

Any word on how? I'm shocked. I'm not going to pretend I was a big fan and followed his career, but I remember seeing him on Powerrr and he seemed young.

All I've heard is that is was a previously undiagnosed medical issue. We'll have to wait and see what it is or if the family wishes to release that info.

One of the greatest middleweights of all time, a class act and a man who exemplified professionalism, toughness and skill in the ring, Marvelous Marvin Hagler is gone. If you have any spare time, do check out Hagler's fight vs. Thomas Hearns. It's not long and it's one of the most exciting shootouts in boxing history.

I knew him more for Live and Let Die as well as the TV series Homicide: Life on the Street and a couple of featured guest episodes in old westerns. He was great in all of those roles. That immense stature and bass are what immediately caught your attention but his range was broad enough to evoke any emotion he wanted from the audience. Truly a master at his craft.
