Hybrid: "Your run in this tournament has been plagued with miscues and accidents. You evidently were injured early in a match against Thiago Gracie which cost you the match, and then couldn’t put away Patrick Sabre before he took you out with a suplex. What happened?"
Hollister: "The initial injury reports were a bit overzealous, but watching the tape I can see why the press saw it that way (laughs). I fully admit I was not ready for Mr. Gracie to try and rip my arm from my body, and his blitz tactic simply overwhelmed me. Maybe I was a bit more beaten up from the match with Bull than I'd thought. Nothing else to really say for that match. As for Sabre and I, I'm not unhappy with the match. It was the longest bout so far, and he caught me with an ace up his sleeve. We'd both been bested in our last match and clearly gave it our all in ours."

Hybrid: "As the only fighter in Hybrid S3 wearing boxing gloves, do you think that wearing that affected your performance in any way?"
Cruz: "I wouldn't say they've affected my performance aye? I've got my gameplan and I'm on to it. There's been some rumblings that I should've been allowed a smaller glove, like my cuz Lane was allowed, but the commission requested I use standard Muy Thai gloves. Not sure how my opponents would've been affected, though. Silencio is one hell of a hard case. Jaw of steel on that woman aye? (laughs)"

Watching and looking back over my edits as a whole in Hybrid has been fun, and has made me realize how wonky my logic settings are (in a good way! Learning is a powerful ability!). If you keep the roster for a season 2, or do in-between shows/events, I assure you Cruz and Hollister's AI will only have benefited from this league and I'll hone them into better working machines :D

Honestly, in the simulations I did before this event, Hollister was absolutely perfect, hit top 1/3 of the results, but Cruz was crushing people badly. I had him pegged to win it all.
But the game is kinda random and we ended up with the finals we have. I would have not predicted this. Pranzo and Silencio are complete surprises as far as making the finals.

I didnt mean it as 'they're weak' or anything of that nature, and Im glad RNG gave you a twist from what you were expecting (hell, I forgot Hollister had Guts until yesterday so Thiago wrecking his shit so bad made it even more impressive for Thiago). More like 'wow I need to really sharpen their logic.' Cruz's moves are just kinda all over the place and made little sense in the long run. I rehauled the hell out of him (he's still well inside the Hybrid limits), just waiting for a DLC move to finalize it. Hollister is just getting some "Im better at doing logic now"-fine tuning. --------- Best wishes and health for your family in the coming weeks! |
