You're a machine, jp. All of this stuff is cool af. I'm waiting until after the update, and after Carl's mod fix, to really get into editing again, but damn all your new stuff is making that difficult. Bret especially. Holy shit, that's pretty. And Punk's tats! Yeah, I’m going to just keep building stuff.....I’m in Disney World the week of the release, so I am quietly hoping when I get back Carl has been able to update the suite......it’s too much fun.....glad you like them! Although this last update was about a weeks worth of work, I just didn’t have time to ‘publish’ them. JP

I know you usually do career spanning stuff, but are you planning on a younger version of Punk's tats? The ROH version where he just had Pepsi, Drug Free, and GI Joe?

I had not, but can certainly entertain it.....the only real issue is having to choose between Pepsi and Cobra, as with the mirroring, you can only do one or the other.....I went Pepsi on the modern Punk as I felt it is more recognizable. I'm dumb. Totally forgot the mirroring thing. Yeah, Pepsi is the more important one.

The stuff you're putting out is tempting me to give creating my own stuff a try despite being fairly computer illiterate.

It is so much fun.....I have a bit of artistic ability, but have never done anything like this from a computer piece, building assets bundles in Unity and whatnot, but truthfully if you follow Carl/SDSS’s guides, the computer part is the easiest part of the process. Do you actually draw out the designs you use, and then rotate them to fit the various angles? Because if I was to do this I'd want to go all in. Back in the day, before image uploading came to wwe games, I would spend hours in the built in logo tool making elaborate stuff like rvd's singlets and wcw luchadore outfkts. So I do have some experience in actually making the designs.

So I do have some experience in actually making the designs. Yes, you basically draw the main few angles and then rotate (and sometimes scale) to fill out the sprite sheet. There are a few that you'd have to re-draw or fudge because they're radically different but many are simply rotated. Depends on the part and the image. For example. a lot of the faces are mouth open/mouth closed at various angles - but if you're making a full mask with no mouth opening, you don't really have to worry about that. Just make sure you load appropriate base parts as it helps to make sure the object doesn't float away. Otherwise, even if you line things up with in game pieces, it can still be off. For example the "88" for upper arm is basically meant for the poofy baseball sleeves. Using it to place an upper arm tattoo would likely make it float beside the arm in most angles, like how some knee pad designs look from the side view if you don't put a knee pad behind them.

Agree with Oni on the how.....although for most of the shirt logos I import and scale the actual logo for the shirt from images on the web, and then transform and rotate as needed for each portion of the sprite sheet. JP yeah, that's true for me too. Anything I can cut and paste is far better for all of us than my trying to draw it. But I usually only do the "main" angles - like for faces, I do the top row which is front, front/side, side, back/side, back. Once they look good, 95% of the rest of the sprites are just those with minor tweaks or rotation. There's one of the lying down side rotations I can never get right and have to fudge. :)

don't think anyone else has posted this yet but I got a missing part error regarding Nash's forearm tattoo. I rebuilt the Nash.tex file. I assume I just missed a piece when I went to rebuild it after I added the additional waist part.....don’t have time to retest this morning, but it is updated on my google drive. JP

UPDATE POSTED! This update includes Jericho's $5,000 light up jacket and an update to Benoit (new thigh logo, and inside of thigh pieces to match the crotch. Also, I have published my Mongo McMichael pack, which I am sure a ton of people are clamoring for :)..….Malenko pack is also now available, this pack includes his Iceman tights, but also a plain vest without the pockets that can be used for other edits (like in my Benoit 4H pic and the Jericho and Mongo jackets)

You rock, jp!
Using those Benoit parts for Pillman too. And Samoa Joe's towel is a good stand in for Inoki's scarf.
