SCU/SWA Legacy News
- Olive Japan Pro Wrestling saw two wrestlers depart in June. Hiroshi Date left and made it clear he was jumping ship to View Japan Pro Wrestling. A bigger shock was Ken Sudo leaving OJPW. No confirmation has been reached as to where he will go.
-View Japan will host the V-1 Super League in July. There will be two blocks with a total of 16 wrestlers. The winner will face Victory Musashi for the SWGP Heavyweight title on 7/27/2024 at the Spike Dome.
-AWG will have a special Independence Day card on July 4th. AWG has also announced that there will be two brands. Starting July 5th, AWG-WWC Friday Night will be held at SCS Stadium. WWC will have the following sanctioned Titles: WWC World, WWC Tag, WWC US and WWC TV. AWG-WFW Megastars will occur every Monday from Big Garden Arena. The sanctioned titles will be WFW Championship, WFW Tag, and WFW Transcontinetal (TC). The AWG Cruiserweight Title will be shared between the two brands. The Former AWG Champions are recognized as current WWC Champions.
-S-1 has announced it's own brand split. S-1 will keep the S-1 brand for the best in kickboxing. S-1 also announced the cration of S-1 KFS (King of Fighting Systems). S-1 KFS will focus on Standing Vale Tudo also known as Shoot Boxing. Standing Submissions and throws will be allowed, but there will be NO attacks permitted on the ground. August will see S-1 and S-1 KFS with two separate events.
-A new unit has formed that will been seen in Ryu Alliance & View Japan...Shinsei Tobaku-gun which is lead by Samurai Jiro and The Kagura.

Kansai Weekend Story 1
S Orca welcomed everyone in the Kansai Town Hall to Kansai Pro Wrestling. He said that there would be fun, laughter, high flying and fighting spirit displayed all through the event. The event started with the introduction of each wrestler.
1. Umejiro (O) vs Tasty Mask (X) 11:10 Emerald Flowsion
2. Wing (O) & Jimmy Hen-Kid vs Devil Waltz & Dark Ox (X) 7:51 Count Out
The four men continued to brawl outside the ring until the seconds at ringside were able to break them up.
3. Doran Otowa (X) vs Super Gande (O) 13:48 Backslide
Super Grande thanked the fans for coming out. He also thanked Doran for coming to Kansai and competing with honor. Doran thanked Kansai for the chance to compete and said he hoped to be back to fight again.
4. Panther Copy (X) vs Last Boss DA-R-MA (O) 13:51 Striking Lariat-> Stomping Fall
After the win, the Last Boss threw Panthers Copy out of the ring and was joined by Devil Waltz and Dark Ox. They announced that they were the West Hooligans, and they would own Kansai Pro Wrestling.

The match was chaotic as the referee had a hard time keeping the wrestlers from cutting in on pin and submission attempts. Several times the action spilled to the floor. In the end, Last Boss DA-R-MA watched as Dark Ox failed to make a cut to stop the winning technique. The Last Boss stormed away as S Orca celebrated with Wing and Jimmy Hen-Kid.
S Orca said that he had some rude guests earlier, and they would be dealt with. He told Kicker Koga and Bino St. 200 to find a third partner, because S Orca would bring the Kansai army against them to teach them a lesson in manners.
