From bonus costumes, to debug menus and even female referees. Included below are secrets, unlockables, and easter eggs found in Super Fire Pro-Wrestling 2.
I'll be adding more tricks for this game regularly. So, check back often for more updates.
1) View the first ending and unlock title match mode:
Completing World Championship mode in either the singles or tag team division unlocks the game's first ending.
Stan Hansen defeats Hulk Hogan as the final opponent of World Championship's first playthrough.
The first ending shows the commissioner and ring girls awarding the player(s) with a trophy.
After the text is shown, a password (unique to each Wrestler or tag team) is displayed. Entering the password unlocks title match mode.
2) Start a new tournament quicker:
If the console is still running after the credits have finished, simply select the PASS WORD mode from the main menu. The password that was shown
during the ending will already be entered, allowing the player(s) to start a new tournament much faster.
3) Fight Ken Budoh (Keiji Mutoh):
Defeating the 24th opponent in the second playthrough of World Championship mode's singles division presents the player with a special fight against
the first hidden boss character Keiji Mutoh.
Super Fire Pro-Wrestling 2 would mark the official debut of Keiji Mutoh, who up until this point, was only featured in the Fire Pro series under his Great Muta gimmick.
4) Fight against Dynamic Kid (Dynamite Kid):
Defeating Keiji Mutoh in the second tournament singles division pits the player against the second hidden boss character: Dynamite kid.
5) Fight against Mask De Panther (Tiger Mask):
Likewise, defeating Keiji Mutoh and Dynamite Kid in the second tournament of World Championship's singles division allows the player to face the final hidden boss: the original
Tiger Mask Satoru Sayama.
I've always thought this was the worst character portrait for Tiger Mask.
6) Fight against Masahiro Kohno (Masahiro Chono) and Ken Budoh (Keiji Mutoh):
Defeating all ten tag teams in World Championship's first playthrough presents a special match against Masahiro Chono and hidden boss character Keiji Mutoh.
7) View the second ending and unlock the third tournament:
Completing World Championship's second playthrough presents the game's second ending.
After the text has finished, a list of every opponent the player(s) defeated are shown.
Followed by the game credits. I especially like the engrish "special no thanks" (I think they meant to say "additional thanks").
If the second playthrough was completed in the singles division, another password is presented. Do you dare enter it?
Entering the password presents the player with the third tournament. This time, the player has to compete against every tag team in special
two-on-one handicap tornado tag matches.
Yes, two opponents.
In the ring.
At the same time.
With no tag partner.
Are you up for the challenge?
8) View the third ending:
After defeating the final tag team in World Championship's 2-on-1 tournament, the game's true ending is then displayed.
The credits feature Great Muta spraying poison mist all over the credits; while female Fire Pro referee "WOMAN" (more on her in a bit) hurries behind with a mop.
At the end of the credits, Muta is apprehended by Riki Choshu who proceeds to Lariat Muta from behind!
As an added touch, the BGM for the ending credits is the original match results theme from the very first Fire Pro: 1989's Fire Pro-Wrestling Combination Tag.
9) Fight against Blade Musha (Great Muta) and Ken Budoh (Keiji Mutoh):
Defeating all 10 opponents in the second playthrough of World Championship mode's tag team division unlocks a special fight between Great Muta and hidden
boss character Keiji Mutoh!
10) Fight against Dynamic Kid (Dynamite Kid) and Mask De Panther (Tiger Mask):
Defeating Great Muta and Keiji Mutoh in the second playthrough of World Championship presents the players with the final hidden boss tag team.
11) Unlocking the female referee:
The hardest trick of all is accessing the female referee "WOMAN". A code myself couldn't figure out for years (and even listed the code incorrectly in my GameFAQ guide for this game).
The correct way to unlock the female referee is to press (not hold) L, R and START simultaneously at the pre-match screen (second picture). Do NOT press any other button.
If inputted correctly, the screen will advance and the match will start with the female referee unlocked.
12) Accessing Super Fire Pro-Wrestling 2's Debug Menu:
Super Fire Pro-Wrestling 2 has it's own built-in debug menu. To access the menu select CONFIG at the main menu and then choose WRESTLER TEST.
Once the match starts press either the L or R shoulder buttons to access the debug menu.
The debut menu allows players to view every single frame of animation and move featured in Super Fire Pro-Wrestling.
13) Debug Menu controls:
L or R: move cursor over player 1 or 2
X: View next frame
B: View previous frame
SELECT + Up or down: View the next/previous Wrestler
SELECT + Left or right: Change attire for Wrestler
14) Debug Menu Glitch:
There is one move that can make the entire roster's Wrestler sprites glitch out in Fire Pro's debug menu.
Step 1: Select Great Muta's poison mist (labelled as O1A7 or 01A8).
Step 2: Now cycle through the different Wrestlers by pressing SELECT + Up or Down.
Since the poison mist was only intended for Muta, cycling through the rest of the roster will morph every Wrestler
into Great Muta. In the above photo, Dr. Death Steve Williams has been Muta-fied.

15) There are unused sprites buried in Debug Mode's sprite list:
Each Wrestler in Super Fire Pro-Wrestling 2 contains unused sprites that were intended fpr the game's original ending. Instead of recycling the same ending from
the previous game (Super Fire Pro-Wrestling), HUMAN decided to scrap these sprites altogether.
Players can still access these unused sprites by selecting 02BF in the debug menu.
