Heartbreaking news. Hall was a guy that had a lot of demons, but seemed to be getting a lot better over these last few years. Rest in Peace, those big pearly gates in the sky are about to say hello to the bad guy.

When I heard he was off life support but still alive after a few hours, I held out hope. Fucking shame to see him go. Rest in peace, and have fun up there, Bad Guy.

Sad and unexpected news, the guy has been out of the business for a long time now, and regardless of his behind the scenes reputation, it feels like someone just blasted a giant, gaping hole right through it. Wow.

This came as an absolute shock! Rest easy Scott, bad times don't last, but bad guys do.

RIP Scott Hall.
This really sucks. The circumstances of his death are especially tragic. It just shows how fragile life is.
He falls and breaks a hip. And then the hip surgery goes so awry that he ends up dying as a result. I really feel for his close friends and family. It's such a tragic and sudden way to die.
As a fan, I will remember him very fondly for his awesome Razor Ramon character. He was an excellent in ring performer and was full of charisma. He was so fun to watch. I've never looked at toothpicks the same after him. His matches with Bret Hart and HBK were awesome. His angle with the 1-2-3 Kid was shocking. He was so entertaining.
I missed out on the initial nWo run so all I've seen are those retrospective videos/clips. I didn't get to live it in real time and I've always regretted that. I know the tremendous impact that he had though as an Outsider and nWo founder.

Scott Hall and I have something in common in that we're both former champions and that's cool as shit.
Context: DDT broadcast a show on their YouTube channel celebrating 250K subscribers and the 250K subscribers were crowned as the DDT Ironheavymetalweight Champion when a laptop filming the event fell on top of MAO (the champion at the time) and the referee counted the fall.

I’ll stop spamming this thread after this, the Stone Cold podcast has a two part interview with Scott Hall, it’s really good, it spans his entire career from how he broke in, the territory stuff, and his rise through the WWF and WCW. No bullshit, very straight shooter, knows he’s not perfect, was honest about what happened, and just relates some really cool stuff about the business (note: I found these on the apple podcast thingy, the YouTube ones are different (YouTube has a phone interview, sound quality is junk, the other one is Skype or something, it sounds great!), I’ll sniff around and see if I can find links).
It’s sad when someone goes, but it’s really sad watching the few remaining links to the history of the business that brought us to C!C go and take their undocumented stories and history with them, so, as small a part of Hall’s history and even smaller part of the big picture as these two hours of podcasts are, they’re still gold in my opinion. I hope you find the time to check them out.
