Amy was in Story Mode with that new visual.
So there's still Cassandra hope, as she was also in Story with a new visual.
Also funny, since the director side-stepped questions on 'are any of the DLC characters female?'
and THEYVE ALL BEEN FEMALE.

I guess I can allow Amy because I've always preferred that design to Viola in SCV.
Still salty that Amy was basically Raphael-with-good-shit in SCIV.
I enjoy playing SCVI's version of Raphael, so there's that.
Amy looks different enough.

Skarlet seems like a character right out of Deadman Wonderland where people can use their blood as weapons.

That "pro" video was aggrravating but the brutalities vid was cool
I liked how each character had like 5 of them in MKX (usually just an enhanced special move kill under certain conditions) and I hope that's the case here, as I grew to prefer them over the actual Fatalities most of the time.

So I'm only now familiarizing myself with Soul Calibur 6 and it's DLC. Is the game's total DLC offering going to be 4 different characters and 2 different packs for create-a-fighter parts?

I'm pretty sure they're doing a seasonal thing, as in "This is only Season One". That's my understanding of it, at least. |

^yeah, although I don't think they have officially confirmed as much it does seem likely given the trend with other fighters and the recent news that SCVI has fared decently in sales (despite Ban-Nam giving it a crappy budget....again)
And yes spiderfab, that's how the Season 1 DLC shakes down
4 characters (Tira, 2B, Amy, and ????)
2 CAS parts sets with 50 new items each
There are also a handful of "freebie" parts and some free music from older games that have been thrown in with updates

^that's the suggestion but nothing's official yet since they're still working on the original "season" of DLC (Amy hasn't been released yet and probably won't be for another month or two while we don't even know who the last character is yet or when the second CAS pack will hit; the first one just dropped yesterday)
I'd presume that we won't hear official word on a Season 2 until sometime in late summer (I.e. Aug-Sep, when they "should" be done releasing content for season 1)

Samurai Shodown confirmed to be at EVO and have a early summer release date.
A new trailer is out, but only shows a few more seconds of gameplay footage.

Official EVO Lineup for EVO 2019 I think this EVO was fairly safe, only two real surprises in samsho and uniest? im surprised melee had lasted as long as it did but it'll lack of inclusion will probably be good for both EVO and Melee overall in the long run imo. |
