These are the scans for the Super Fire Pro Wrestling III: Final Bout guide book from 1993.
Since I have about 128 pages to scan, it may take a week or so to post everything here.
So, check back regularly for more scans.
The specific title for this one seems to be "で闘う本" (Fight Book or Book about Fighting)
Cover sleeve.
Inside cover.
Front without cover. Notice there's also less detail in the hands locking up.
Back cover with no sleeve.
Road Warrior Animal.
Bruiser Brody.
I think they were going for "toughest". Masakatsu Funaki.
Page 10 is a directory of each Wrestler featured in the game. Page 11: "World Fighting King" Akira Saeba (Akira Maeda)
Doesn't Dick Vrij look just like Barack Obama?
"Commando Wolf"
Wolf Van (Volk Han) "Fighting Cyborg"
Rick Gray (Dick Vrij)
"Young Warrior" "Razor Fighter"
Makoto Higaki (Masakatsu Funaki) Mitsuru Mutsuki (Minoru Suzuki)
Yoshiaki Fujiwara doing his best Oddjob impersonation.
"Shooting Progress" "Submission Master"
Win Harlock (Ken Shamrock) Jyo Kajiwara (Yoshiaki Fujiwara)
"Wild Warrior of War" "Hot Kicker"
Nobuhisa Sanada (Nobuhiko Takada) Kazuki Yamamoto (Kazuo Yamazaki)
Since Japanese speakers have some trouble with mixing up L's and R's when it comes to foreign words,
Gary's Fire Pro rename is actually pronounced G.O. Bright.
Vader's Fire Pro rename is usually just Hitman Sabre/Saber.
"Suplex Monster" "The Demon King's Assassin"
G.O. Blight (Gary Albright) Hitman Saver (Big Van Vader)
I'm going to go on record saying that I absolutely love these guide book illustrations. The drawings (while faithful to the Wrestlers
they are based on) are wacky and colourful. Bad News Brown, for example, looks just like a feral animal in the above picture.
"The Black Giant Star"
Bloody Allen (Bad News Allen/Brown).
...and Bloody Allen is also listed from Canada!
Take me to your Triple Crown. Misawa is looking a little bit like a martian in the above illustration.
"Hyper Elbow"
Mitsuhide Hikawa (Mitsuharu Misawa)
"Burning Warrior" "The Unfinished Prince" (Akira was being groomed as Jumbo Tsuruta's protege before joining Kawada)
Toshiie Kazama (Toshiaki Kawada) Akira Yamagami (Akira Taue)
Final Bout marked the first time in the Fire Pro series where all four heavenly kings (Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi and Taue) were all playable.
"Spark Fresh" "Hinomaru Warrior" (Hinomaru is the Rising Sun flag of Japan)
Keiji Togashi (Kenta Kobashi) Kiyoshi Akechi (Tsuyoshi Kikuchi)
"Powerful Bomb" "Bull of The Ring"
Tommy Bomber (Jumbo Tsuruta) Star Bison (Stan Hansen)
"Philosophical Beast" "Human Nuclear Warhead"
Big The Great Bull (Bruiser Brody) Kerry Bogie (Terry Gordy)
"Cold-hearted Doctor"
Still James (Dr. Death Steve Williams)

Along with identifying each Wrestler's likeness, I'll also provide a translation for every
Wrestler's Fire Pro nickname (the "text" above each Wrestler's name).
