I've fallen behind on mods (literally just tried Ace's costume extensions this week) but really looking forward to giving this a spin. I think Survival Mode will definitely be a favorite as I miss the old Victory Road days of clawing through a roster. I'm also very interested in the shoot fighting modes like UWFi and Pancrase.
Stupid question I'm sure, but how does the limited elimination mode vary from the game's normal elimination on/off setting? Apologies if this was covered at the old place and I should just go there and read instead.

It's a team elimination style match limited to four players per team, where wrestlers fight 1v1 while the rest of their team surrounds the ring as seconds. When someone loses, the next members enters the right and the loser "leaves" the arena; I think the normal elimination on/off setting still treats the match as a tag with members in the ring/on the apron instead?

As far as I can see, wrestlers start each round of an elimination match with full health. Is there a way to make the damage carry over? Otherwise it kind of defeats the point of an elimination series if the winner of the previous match starts the next round at full health.

So the extended elimination is sim only?
What about a similar mod, like the old Genesis/snes WWF games where you had a team of multiple guys but only 2 on the apron, but you pressed select to cycle through partners to tag in? Is that possible or is not worth it with this mod?

You can turn on health displays in Carl's mod suite to verify this, but it should carry over winners with reduced hp/spirit.

- Survival Road is basically the player version of the mode, only it's a team of 1/2 vs many.
- If enough people ask for it, I may include an option to play as a team during eliminations later. But for now, I'll leave it as sim only.

Just did a test with the meters on and can confirm the winners of the matches are restored to 100% health and spirit at the start of each new round.

I'll need you to provide a log file, as I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. Enable "-logfile" in your launch options, then check your main directory and send it. Also, is this occurring during the limited or extended elimination modes?

Test version 1 of the Survival mode is going up shortly, it's focused on singles matches while I work out some bugs with tag matches. I even included an option for you filthy, sim-only types so you can watch your edits go through the gauntlet. EditTest version is up.

A link to the document in google drive/dropbox/etc would be fine.
Can anyone else try running an Extended Elimination match with the hp settings displayed and let me know if you're encountering a similar issue?
