That Acclaim choke is dead on - right down to the defender being inexplicably taller. That and the splash from a little while ago really bring back big memories. I can HEAR those gifs.
Fun fact - Royal Rumble on SNES was what made me interested in wrestling in the first place and directly led to me becoming a wrestling fan at all. So those animations go AAALLLL the way back for me.

I remember reading about Royal Rumble in a magazine earlier that year and getting so excited about it. It was the first licensed WWF game that had a battle royale mode and it had some of my favorite wrestlers as well. I can actually remember going to buy it at the store when it finally came out. And it completely lived up to my hype for it. I spent hours playing that game. The fact that they also had finishers (compared to the WWF game that had come out right before that) made it even better. Also love that they had the entrance music. It was one of my favorite wrestling game experiences ever so it's awesome seeing those moves in Fire Pro now 😎

The 1992 Royal Rumble match is what turned me into a life-long fan, so I remember being super excited when I saw an advert for a Royal Rumble game on the Mega Drive. Between it and the sequel of RAW is WAR, I can't tell you how much play those games got, despite being... erm, retrospectively ropey, shall we say...
In other words I have also just spent the last few minutes with a huge smile on my face after seeing the choking gif.

The Acclaim moves are perfect in Fire Pro. Now there's absolutely no denying the turnbuckle collision in Fire Pro exists for a reason.

I remember in a match in Raw once, I accidentally entered a limbo state somehow. My opponents were knocked out, my partner was knocked out, and the ref was knocked out. It was just me running around, with nothing I could really do to continue.
Since that happened on an emulator I used to have a savestate of it, but that was many years and a few computers ago.
