I'm working on a PK set up that leads in to a sliding lariat and from every angle copying and pasting worked pretty well except the no rope/grapple that they would do if they can't run and bounce on the ropes. It is a little off and I've been trying to compensate with the FX and FZ but what looks right on the move editor doesn't work on the ringside check... Like it doesn't even consistently look off by the same amont from each angle where he can't run the ropes.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this kind of move or issue?

I've made a Clutch Leg Breaker for an edit that focuses on leg-work based on the in-game Stump Puller. I may also make a Submission-loop variation of it.

I wish I had an answer for this. I haven't worked on any ground attack moves yet that involve running for exactly the reason that you mentioned involving the different animation libraries. And I REALLY want to re-animate the sliding elbow to give it more snap. But I did want to just empathize with you on how frustrating it is that the move editor looks so different than the ringside check. The troubles I had making the Short Armed Oosotogari last night were compounded by the fact that what looked fine in the move editor was completely off in the ringside check: particularly the X/shadow coordinates. It was very frustrating. It's also frustrating that the CPU opponent in Ringside Check seems to DELIGHT in countering me when I'm at my most frustrated. I'm sure the ref was wondering why I was using multiple chair shots to test out my Oosotogari 😈

Ok I basically ended up splitting the difference between what I just cut and pasted from the sliding lariat and what looked perfect on the move editor. I feel like this is close enough. Someone, anyone tell me that this is close enough. Also this is the first gif I've ever made from a video before so its a close enough to a win - win situation.

TBH I have my hands full with some projects right now but maybe afterwards. What were you thinking? I wasn't really a johnny b badd fan so all I know is his shooting star

I wasn't really a johnny b badd fan so all I know is his shooting star To be honest Mero/Badd didn’t have that many unique moves. It’s really a lot of personality. But he did have some that aren’t in the game, or I have seen on move craft. Like his Left Hook finisher AKA The Kiss That Don’t Miss, The Badd Mood which is hard to describe outright, and a moonsault press to standing opponents that has him bouncing front to back before hitting it(2 Cold Scorpio did it too). I’ll just link to this video since it has some good left hooks that you can use as a reference... m.youtube.com/watch?v=J-YqWqOSwd8Here’s a squash too... m.youtube.com/watch?v=cPxPBOAlwYg

Ok this should work... I keep trying to tell myself that all of the no rope versions look a little weird but I'm not sure. maybe I'm 90% there?

Yeah, all of the non-rope versions look a little weird due to the abrupt animation. That's not your move causing that. I think you did a great job animating that. The shadows/positions look good and the move has impact! 😎

Wow, that knee to the midsection is AWESOME, Gurf! 👏
Love how it's essentially a counter to a counter too.
